This hotel is perfectly located in a bustling area of Paris. Close to great shopping and dining areas and very close to the metro. Rooms are a bit larger than similar hotels in Paris, with a generously sized bath. The bath has excellent counter space (something lacking in similar hotels in Paris) and was perfectly clean.Stepping into the bath/shower was a bit tricky, as we are in our 70’s. À grab bar would have been helpful. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. Towels and linens are of good quality. Water pressure is excellent although at busy times it can take a while for the water to heat. There is an excellent bar right across the street and good, affordable restaurants nearby. Staff at reception is very kind, professional, helpful, and pleasant. We speak French but staff is multilingual. The room was cleaned at just the right time for our return after à morning of exploring, not late in the day as we have experienced before. |Absolutely highly recommend!

The Hotel Bastille Speria was a fantastic place. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Juan and Sarah were great. I don't know the woman 's name in the breakfast area but she was so kind. Room was very clean and I thought a good size. The area was safe with plenty of places to eat. I would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

We stayed at Hotel Bastille Speria for 5 nights. The service at the hotel was exceptional. To a much appreciated early check in on the day we arrived in Paris and for the friendly staff that accommodated us with a room change, we couldn't be happier with the way reception, housekeeping and breakfast staff treated us. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, baked goods, cheese, etc. A great way to get your day started. We would recommend it. The hotel's location was excellent. We were steps from the Bastille metro statio, surrounded by restaurants and cafes and shopping on Rue Saint-Antoine. If we travel to Paris again, we would stay at Hotel Bastille Speria and we would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting beautiful Paris and the cool and chic Le Marais district.

Very friendly and helpfull staff at the reception desk, day and night. Room was clean and spacious (for Parisian standarts). Location of the hotel is just perfect for visiting Paris and with a wide variety of Metro lines nearby at Bastille. I stayed there before, this time and again for a next visit.

This was our first time staying at this hotel and we couldn’t have made a better choice! The hotel was lovely and very cosy, the reception and breakfast area were a delight. The bedrooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable and quiet. Everyone of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help.|Location was wonderful. Steps away from the metro and the lovely shopping street Rue de Rivoli. Even Notre Dame was in walking distance!

We had an amazing experience here at the hotel. Staff was always so helpful and kind, and the place was very very cute. Would absolutely stay here again on our next visit. Area around it was also fantastic with plenty of food and shopping. There’s a Metro station not even a whole block away that we used as our main station to get anywhere we needed in the city.

This hotel was incredibly clean. The staff were both polite and quick to respond — truly exceptional service. The location is very convenient, which makes it perfect for travelers. Thanks to this hotel, my trip to Paris was absolutely amazing. Beni Sarah was the best!

We had a great stay at Hotel Bastille Speria. The bed was very comfortable and we were very happy when Bene arranged for us to be moved to a larger room. We had nice breakfasts and found the Hotel to be very well located in Paris near metro stops, many restaurants, shops and the beautiful Place De Voges etc.

Yelp
It was my first time in Paris in late 2021 and I enjoyed my stay here very much! All the staff members I encountered were outstanding! They were multilingual, kind, and always willing to help. My room wasn't ready upon arrival but they let me change and get ready in the downstairs bathroom. They have pocket wi-fi available for rent which was super convenient to carry around the city. The rooms were small but modern and clean! The area was walkable and I felt safe. It's also very close to bus stops and metro lines. I definitely recommend this area if you want to be in the city but not too close to the center.

Yelp
Stayed for Five days in October 2018... We love that the place is close to the metro and to a lot of restaurant BUT it's a low budget hotel. Not a good hotel to stay for more than 1 day. First of all their internet is not working at all!!!! We had to go downstairs to use it. Their refrigerator doesn't even get cold. The streets where the hotel is located is so dirty and noisy... bofinger is right beside the hotel so when they throw their trash and leg the trash cans in front.. it smells I love the breakfast thought! It's a good combination of cheese, salami, tomatoes... you can actually make a chacuterie

Yelp
I really enjoyed my stay here for three days. They speak English but I didn't use their concierge service at all. I found my way around Paris just fine. The rooms are very nice and modern. It forces you to insert your key in the hole for the light to turn on. Thats a smart way to keep energy controlled. The view from my hotel room was amazing!!!!! You have to leave your key downstairs when you head out in the morning so house cleaning can come by to fix it. I would definitely stay here again because the prices were reasonable.

Yelp
Price was good, room was small but in a GREAT location, night life and very active area, bunch of different types of stores and close to the metro, bathroom worked, walls are definitely thin but it didn't bother me, I packed a small iron so idk about amenities that well. Looked at weird when I ask for extra towels lol, that's about it but liked this place

Yelp
This place is awful!!! They had a "system error" and lost my reservation. They we're full, and couldn't give me a room. Instead of just putting me up at another place for both nights, they sent me for one and expected I wait and see if they can house me tomorrow. They wanted me to check out of the hotel they sent me to at 11am, then wait around all day with my luggage, to see if by 3pm they have a cancellation. They sent me walking to this other hotel, told me it was very close.... After about a mile with all my luggage I got there. I am getting another hotel on my own dime for the rest of my stay and will be disputing the charges for this so called "hotel".

Yelp
I was extremely happy with my stay at Hotel Bastille Speria and I would definitely recommend it to friends! We stayed for 4 nights in July. Things I loved: * 1 block away from the Bastille Metro station. Although it's away from the Eiffel Tower and Champs-Elysées, the Metro is much faster than the Tube (London), so it didn't take very long to get from one end to the other. * Clean rooms, house-kept every day. Cleaner than most hotels in America. * Good sized hotel room with in-room bathrooms. Ours had separate shower and toilet, making it easy for 2 people to get ready at once. (Rather than the shower and toilet in the same place.) * Strong air conditioning. * Free Wi-Fi in the room. Moderate speed, fine for internet surfing. * Free breakfast - hard boiled eggs, croissants, toast, fruit, coffee, juice. We only had it one morning before venturing to a nearby Boulangerie. It was nice to know it was an option to have if one person wanted coffee while the other person was getting ready. * Free water! They had a filtered water dispenser available all day which we used to refill our collapsible water bottle we brought. We got a LOT of use of this and it was appreciated! * In-room refrigerators. We brought back some soda and juice to have in the room since we stayed for several days. * Front Desk people spoke English and were able to give directions and advice. * The neighborhood was nice and safe with restaurants and cafes open late. It was nice to come back to the hotel and have a few places to get a drink or a snack. Things to Consider: * The Bastille Metro station is huge! Even though the hotel is only a block away, there are several tunnels and sets of stairs you need to walk through to get to the train. Some stations have the train much closer to the entrance stairs, but this one has more walking. This is important if you have luggage! Although this location is close to the Gare de Nord Metro station for the Eurostar (~8 mins), we ended up taking a taxi back to the Eurostar station at Gare de Nord when we were leaving because we had too much luggage to lug around. There are no ramps, escalators, or elevators in the Metro stations. * The bed is about 2 feet off the ground. * When you check out and have the hotel watch your luggage for the rest of the day, they just keep it behind the desk, rather than putting it in secure area like other hotels do. This might be because they are currently remodeling their lobby? * The hotel layout has a lot of rooms facing the inner courtyard and other rooms. A little weird. * The lights and tv only turn on when a key is stuck in a reader on the wall. I think this saves energy as most people will take the key out when they leave and the lights therefore turn off rather than left on... but I wonder if they can track if you're in the room too.

Yelp
This hotel is in a great location, only a few steps away from the metro and with many things to do just outside the door. The bed was uncomfortable, the TV didn't work and it had paper thin walls. My husband and I are heavy sleepers but if you have issues with noise, beware. The staff was very friendly.

Yelp
The location certainly is great. Short walk to Bastille metro. Lots of shops in Marais. Nice area. Hotel staff nice I was happy to be able to check in after an all night flight. The room is very small but that's ok, it's cozy. Like an attic room. The walls however are do thin, do not have private conversations -because the next room will definitely hear you!!. Kind of a pain in the middle of the night when people are stumbling in. It's more like a boarding house. If I hadn't brought my headphones, I would have to check out and go some where else. But I think in Paris, a lot of hotels are like this, larger hotels are on the outskirts of the city.
