Hotel Baština Lula

Location was great. Staff was friendly. The rooms are in old bosnian style which we liked very much. You need to book the parking space upfrond. I have not seen this info when I booked the room. Lucky there was a parking next door. The rooms could have been cleaner.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. But the room we stayed at was pretty small. We didn't have a lot of room to move around. And the bed made a lot of creaking noises. Also it says on Booking that there is free parking available, but there are only 3 parking places. And all of them were occupied when we arrived. So we had to park in a nearby place and paid more than 50 euro's in two days. So if you travel with your car you should definetly watch out for that. So that's why I give 2 stars for service. But the workers were very friendly and helpfull. And the location makes it up for all other negative things.

What a lovely hotel! I arrived in Sarajevo three hours early and they allowed me to have my room early, which was very kind. ||The hotel is clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly. The location is perfect, just off a side road from the bazaar.

Like other reviewers, I really appreciated the location a few metres from the old quarter of Bascarsija with lots of cafes and eateries. There are a few markets/supermarkets nearby and also a tram stop but most of the places in the city are within walking distances.||The staff are nice, helpful and speaking English, there was no problem to leave my luggage at the hotel before check-in and after check-out. Good breakfast between 8 and 10 a.m. The room was cleaned every day.||My window faced a private yard with quite noisy children, fortunatelly they stopped shouting and crying in the evening (which the hotel can do nothing about). Although the room had everything you may need (including a hairdryer), I missed an armchair or at least a chair.

Definitly its location which makes this hotel to the best ones in Sarajevo, the workers are friendly and helpful and they speaking english very well also. However the rooms are small (at least our was, but we knew that beforehad), but they are perfectly okey for 1-2 night stay. The breakfast is above avarage, everything were fresh and delicious, there were wide range of choices also.We have only one remark, the carpet in the rooms are used, very used, it should be changed, and i bet it would refresh the whole enviroment in the room.

The hotel is very nice, in a very nice place, just on Bascasia. The rooms are nice and tidy. The breakfast was very nice and tasty. The staff is ok. They got a lower rating only because their website says that parking is provided. However, when you arrive, they ask for 5e per day and that cannot be paid by card. All in all, the hotel is nice, in a nice place, but it does not respect its website

Small Heritage hotel, established in a former Lula School, in the heart of Sarajevo. Nice and clean small rooms and bathrooms, tasty authentic breakfast - ask for Turkish coffee and you will be impressed :) Very kind and helpful staff. The hotel offers free parking places in proximity, but the parking is not secured. Did not understand why smoking is not allowed in Lula House (I'm joking, but it could be a paradox :))) )
