Perfect Location in the heart of the old city. I could see the Cathedral & the bell tower from my bed. The bells were hardly heard during my sleep. The building is a 515 years old Weinstube, without lift. The stairs are ok. We stayed on the 1st floor. The room was medium sized very comfortable and clean as well as the bathroom. The decoration was simple. Good WIFI. The breakfast, poor in variety but good in quality, served in the untouched hall of the Weinstube. It was a thrilling experience. The owner was an English speaking very gentle and helpful Lady. Free Parking in the court yard. Very good restaurants nearby. It was a Milestone to me.

A bit of a walk from the station but located just behind the cathedral. (close to all you need to see in Ulm and places to eat) Nice size rooms, clean and well kept. The web site is in German and not bookable through the web - don't be discouraged ,an email in English is all that is required to book. The staff are friendly and helpful. No lift (only one floor), no safe. Excellent continental breakfast in the carved wood lined dining room with an authentic tiled heater is worth the experience alone

We stayed for 3 nights in this authentic German hotel in the centre of the Ulm. Overlooking the cathedral the location couldn't be better for a sight seeing stay. The room was a corner room large and comfortable. Well appointed with a good blend of modern conveniences and period features. Very comfortable and very friendly staff. Traditional continental breakfast nicely laid out with a good variety. Excellent stay and recommend. One thing to watch out for don't leave the Windows open at night unless you want to wake up the sound of the bells at 7.00am.

Like Staying with a friend of the family. The Owner Is very friendly and Speaks English well. The Hotel is nicely kept and very clean. Only complaint if any is the lack of AC, but Once the sun goes down it is nice and cool. Good window ventilation. If you like to hear church bells. You can not beat this location. There are several churches around ringing bells. The walk to the main ULM Minster plaza is a short one. There is on site parking which is a major plus as long as your car is narrow enough to fit through the building. We were in a new FAT FIat which just did clear. Breakfast is above average.

I traveled through Germany for several weeks as a teacher this spring, and this spot (and Ulm) became a bit of my refuge when traveling became exhausting. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and provided everything you might need. The breakfast was huge with bread, meat, eggs, fresh juice, etc. The first two times I stayed I was on the street side of the building (just a tiny street with mostly pedestrian traffic), and the last was facing the cathedral which was both good and not so good. The view of the cathedral was amazing, but because it was quite warm during the night, I slept with the window open and, as a light sleeper, I woke to the bells chiming every 15-30 minutes. So, if a light sleeper, ask for a room on the opposite side, which still has lovely views. Great little university town with much to do within walking distance. Also, the little cafe next door has great sweets, coffee, and beverages.

I really liked this hotel, it is near the center but feels very cozy and charming. My room was neat and windows opened to see the Ulm Minister in its glory and charming garden area below. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast offerings were great. The breakfast room was especially charming and original to the very old building. The other guests were friendly. I will return next time I visit Ulm.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Hotel Bäumle. It is so close to the Ulm Münster, and also an easy walk from the train station. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the location was quite quiet. The building has a lot of character, and yet our room was modern and spacious inside. The main negatives were that (1) there is no wifi in the rooms (there is cabled internet, if you have a device that can use that), and (2) we came down to breakfast with 30-40 minutes to go in the allotted breakfast period, and the selection of food was quite picked over, and not replenished at all. It looked like it was probably a good breakfast, from what we saw on other peoples' plates, though. :-( Still, this is a solid choice, especially at the price, and we were happy with our stay.

The hotel is immediately behind the Dome of Ulm, in a very central position. You can park the car and forget it for all the period of your staying!||The room (a Family room) was big enough for 4 people, very clean, quiet and cozy. The breakfast is an experience: a wide variety of food (classic continental brakfast but also very alternatives for different needs). ||Very appreciable the courteousness and availability of the complete staff: a smile as a welcome and always at disposal in vase of needs, but very discrete at the same time. A place to take note of!
