Hotel Bavaria

Good lighting room and Nice 7/24 hours coffee, hot chocolate machine are heaven. They have a very good machine. You can borrow some cutlery. Bed is OK ,soft. Big and powerful hair dryer. Pretty fast hot water system. Bad point is that some bugs came in as you can expect them when opening the windows even at your home. If you check in late the front door will be closed. The building is somewhat old but Our room was clean with good view from the balcony. The staffs are nice. Wide selection of Breakfast buffet.

Stayed for 2 nights at this lovely hotel. Reception was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is really the best! Appreciate the 24hour tea/coffee at the hotel. Location is just a short walk from hbf. Only improvement is to use better pillows as we find it too flat for our liking. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here!

I really enjoyed my 4D/3N stay (in June 2021) at this lovely hotel. I arrived a day earlier than planned but was promptly accommodated. It's conveniently located near the train station, as well as the center of town. There's a generous breakfast buffet and around the clock unlimited tea and coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but what really sets this place apart is the wonderful service, you really get the feeling that this is a family run place. I will definitely return and have already recommended this hotel to my friends who plan to vacation in Berchtesgaden.

Beautiful little hotel run by a lovely couple and helpful staff. Location was perfect for us as it’s a 6-7 mins walk from the main station. Had an amazing spread for breakfast every single day - mix of cold and hot items. Tea coffee and sandwiches are available through the day for free. There is also a little fridge when you can get local beer and wine for a small fees. The views on a sunny day are incomparable perfectly complemented with gracious Bavarian hospitality. Thank you for making our stay so special.

We stayed at this hotel in Oct 2021. Family suite was in the top most floor without an elevator. Was quite an exercise in carrying the luggage up and down. Room was big enough and clean. Good view of the mountains. The bed was somehow not comfortable for us. Breakfast was a disaster. It gets over soon and was never refilled. The warm food was always so little. Don't think there's a vegan option at all, probably need to preorder. Location was decent, a short walk to the market places and bus station.

We had the BEST stay at Hotel Bavaria. Our view was spectacular. Our room was huge and the garden bathtub was a much needed surprise. We had a balcony which was great because we were on the 4th floor so I could sit out there and have a cigarette with my coffee. The breakfast buffet had everything your heart desired. We brought ours up the first morning and head a wonderful feast in our room. We can’t wait to return. Might even find a way to stay longer next time. The staff was so accommodating we had booked only one night and loved it so much we asked to stay another. So they moved things around and we got to stay another night in the same room. Would highly recommend anyone staying here. No need to worry about parking. We just parked at the hotel and took the 5 min walk to the town center.

A lovely little Hotel. Clean, warm and cozy. Wonderful breakfast. Staff couldn't have been nicer, nothing was a problem. They were kind, friendly and helpful. Good location. Two really nice touches were they give you Bus Passes for free Bus travel, during your stay, and in the day they leave a selection of Filled Rolls and Cake, for guests to nibble on. Free hot drinks are available 24/7. The only downside, is that this hotel is a wee bit old fashioned, however that added to it's charm. I would recommend staying there 100%, however if you expect it to be like a Holiday Inn, or other big chain Hotel, it is not, however, I, personally, preferred it. I can honestly say it was one of my favourite places to stay.

The only place I ever want to stay when visiting Berchtesgaden. Loved the 24 hour tea and coffee bar, tons of selection for tea. Breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever had. Very nice touch with the honor bar, help yourself to beer or soda and write your name on a ticket. Rooms were spacious and very clean. We could have sat and drank coffee on our balcony all day, it was beautiful. Staff was perfect and location is great. Thank You!

The Mr and I recently spent 5 nights at Hotel Bavaria in the Kehlstein room. There was lots to love about our room and this hotel. I'll start with the room. It was clean, spacious, & comfortable. We loved our little balcony. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There were many breakfast options including savory and sweet items, a fabulous coffee machine, & a large bright breakfast room to enjoy it all in. I loved the fact they did a whole basket of laundry for €10.00! After two weeks of traveling and one trip to a laundromat in Munich, this was a huge treat! The only con we had was parking was somewhat of an issue and the WiFi was sketchy at times. However, neither issue would keep us from staying here again!

My wife and I had a wonderful two-day stay here. The first night we got checked in and we were pleased to discover the hotel is a short walk from the main railway station. Later we walked up the hill to a great little village area for some delicious food. The next morning we stayed most of the day inside due to heavy rains. The staff recommended we try their spa at the hotel. We had the entire spa to ourselves, which included a hot tub, steam room and dry sauna, all no extra cost! The breakfast is top-notch, including pretty much anything you can think of to eat: eggs, meats, breads etc.and was included. The staff couldn't have been better. This place is a must!!!

The view from this hotel was amazing. We were on the top floor and it had a Tahoe cabin feel. Our room had a kitchen which we never used unfortunately, a bar (not stocked with liquor), family room, bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, balcony with view, and a nice bedroom. The free breakfast was very good and the people were very friendly and spoke English extremely well.
