Terrific place. The location in Lyon is perfect, and I found the hotel delightful. The room had a lot of cozy charm, and I took advantage of the old bath in the room. In the morning I went for a run on the Rhone, which was quite convenient from the hotel, and the breakfast was one of a kind and outstanding. I also found the staff quite helpful. If and when I return to Lyon, I will definitely stay again at the Bayard Bellecour.

My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights. It is a cozy, adorable, delightful little inn, and the staff are wonderful, especially Stefania. The location in Presque-Ile is excellent - it was an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and tourist sites, and easy to cross over the 2 rivers that surround Presque-Ile to get to other neighborhoods. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed and the beds were awesome. There are a few small flights of stairs and no elevator, but that wasn't a problem and the staff were very helpful.

This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations during our 5 night stay. The location is perfect for exploring Lyon on foot and by metro. The room was comfortable and quiet and the breakfast delicious. The staff were outstanding - always friendly, kind and helpful.

The hotel is very quirky, very, very dark! Our room was rather strange, with the bath in the bedroom, separated by a screen. The room was very small with minimal cupboard space. We finally discovered the television, hiding behind a huge mirror - not obvious.|The hotel is very well located and the staff were very friendly and helpful, but it is certainly only appealing to certain people who do not mind the dark and do not want to read.

Very charming hotel with large bedrooms in a traditional building. Location is brilliant, right in the centre of Lyon, with superb public transport links close at hand. Breakfast was delicious, and a bit different the standard french breakfast of croissants. Staff were really helpful and pleasant, and lovely to find a kettle in the bedroom. A great find

A delightfully quaint hotel in a fabulous location. It is tucked away on Place Bellecour - felt like travelling back in time when we entered. Such fun! The tea service waiting for us was a lovely welcome. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this great hotel - perfect location for exploring Lyon.

Staying at this special hotel requires one to just let go and allow oneself to escape to a bygone era. A real period gem, this lovely hotel does its utmost to replicate the France of the past. Whilst some might not find the rooms as practical, if you want somewhere to stay that has flair yet is still very comfortable, this is the place. Special thanks to Stefania and Pierre who both work very hard to make this place a special stay for the guests. The breakfast room was gorgeous, loads of charm and a nice way to start the day. Location is perfect - an easy walk to all the main sights in lovely Lyon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
