An unforgettable stay in Izmir! Hotel Baylan İzmir wowed me from the start: located right in the heart of the city, a stone’s throw from Basmane station, the historic Kemeraltı bazaar, and the sea. Free parking (a rarity in Izmir), a charming garden, and a terrace to chill over breakfast made it extra cozy . The rooms were spotless, comfortable, air-conditioned, equipped with a minibar, and had 24‑hour room service . The team? Next level. ARDA treated me like royalty—felt like I was among friends—and the entire staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional . The breakfast buffet was simple but solid—just what you need to kick off the day . In short: a hotel with outstanding value, perfect for anyone looking for comfort, a prime location, and genuine hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Very good location, area with restaurants around (I recommend Topkapi restaurants). Close to reach either on foot or by uber (if you really don't want to walk) the clock tower, Konak square, the waterfront). Rooms ok, spacious. Breakfast ok, but without coffee (just ness).

Really nice hotel and friendly, helpful staff.. I stayed in a top floor suite (Kane) which was spacious and had a huge balcony with great views. The amenities are very good and the bed very comfortable. Good value and a good location to explore the amazing city of Izmir.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights with our daugher and dog. At first it feels like the hotel's in the backstreets of Izmir but actually it's located just on the boundary of a lot of amenities, markets – it's also a short walk from the sea. There is a lovely 24/7 bakery serving fresh sweet and savoury delights just a couple of minutes from the hotel. The staff were really warm and friendly. The car park is secure and is attended. Our room was cleaned well every day and breakfast was good. We stayed in December and we did find the room quite warm so we opened the window at night.

The room was very dark and had a moldy smell! The breakfast was nothing special. I would recommend this hotel if you want to safely stay in Izmir for a short stay 1-2 days, and need to park safely! For more than that, I think some renovations would need to be done!

Nice hotel with clean rooms. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not bad. Location is really good, you can walk to most places.

Despite not being a popular tourist destination, Izmir is incredibly expensive for accommodation. The facilities are outdated, and cleanliness and service are poor. This is typical of accommodations in this price range.

We stayed in the Hotel Baylan, Izmir, Turkey with family in March 2019. Our stay at hotel was exceptionally good. The staff especially at the reception were incredibly very polite and cooperative. Location was excellent, located Infront of Basmane Railway Station with number of food outlets. We took train from this railway station to Ephesus. The rooms was spacious and with full of amenities. The room service was prompt and efficient. Kettle was there in the room to make tea or coffee. Bathroom was also spacious and nice. Overall, my experience was good in every aspect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Izmir for its beautiful location with number of Turkish food outlets.
