Hotel Bayview

Great experience at Hotel Bayview! They went out of their way and provided their guests with exceptional service, staff were friendly, breakfast was great! On the 2nd day of our visit, we rented the complimentary bikes and cycled around qi xing tan and it was gorgeous!

Stayed at Hotel Bay View Hualien and had a wonderful experience. The highlight is definitely the stunning Pacific Ocean view, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel has a charming Mediterranean vibe, adding to the coastal atmosphere. A big plus is the 24-hour café, offering free tea, drinks, and cookies anytime. Breakfast has a decent spread with a good variety of options to start the day. Another convenience is the 7-Eleven just a stone’s throw away, making it easy to grab essentials. For those on longer stays, the self-service laundry (NT$50 per wash) is really handy. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and scenic stay in Hualien!

The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was simple but delicious, offering both traditional Taiwanese options and Western-style salads and breads. We were extremely impressed with the quality of the hotel, the service, and the price we paid. The front desk staff was friendly and went above and beyond to assist my elderly and handicapped mother, which I greatly appreciated. I plan to return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful view once again.

Back in 2014 me and my families stayed in Hotel Bayview and over this weekend my family came to Hualien and stayed at the Hotel Bayview again!! The ocean view with a balcony room was very nice and beautiful, it came with a breakfast. The staff were super friendly and service was great. My mom is a vegetarian and the staff made vegetarian dishes just for her. I would recommend Hotel Bayview to anyone who wants to visit 七星潭.

The rooms here are ADORABLE. They are small but efficient. The complementary breakfast was also really nice and they always have coffee and cookie available. The concierge people are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and just overall helpful. I felt like they went above and beyond expectations. The location is beautiful, and the hotel offers bikes for you to ride on the path by the shoreline (highly recommend). The only downside was being a little far from everything, I had to take a lot of taxis.

I would like to commend the hotel management for the excellent assistance I received regarding my reservation. Today, while en route to Hualien Station by train, the service was halted at Luodong Station due to a landslide between Luodong and Hualien. I called the hotel, and the manager was already aware of the situation. Although it was the scheduled check-in date—typically non-refundable—the manager generously offered a full refund. I encountered difficulties canceling the reservation through the booking app, as it did not allow refunds under such circumstances. However, the manager took the initiative to contact the booking company directly and resolved the issue on my behalf. He assured me that I wouldn’t need to worry about anything further. His thoughtfulness and proactive support were greatly appreciated. The next time I visit the Hualien area, I will definitely be booking my stay at this hotel.

We stayed in the honeymoon room with a balcony facing the ocean. It's comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The room is not huge, but plenty of room for our belongings, a queen size bed, a nice sofa and a dresser. The hotel is 2 minutes away from the pebble beach and has quite a few great restaurants in walking distance. We just wanted to stay put and explore the local area and it worked out super well for us. The included breakfast is fantastic with both Chinese and western options. The workers are all diligent and courteous. They make excellent recommendations and helped us with renting local cabs to take us to other spots like the harbor and the Night Market which is only 10 minutes by car.

This hotel was beyond expectations for the price per night. They had complimentary breakfast and snacks, Never gone hungry during our stay. The rooms were clean, and had a nice ocean/beach theme. The hotel is right next to the beach, if you are lucky enough you'll have a water view from your window. Bike rental is also free and there is free shuttle service to and from the hotel from the train station.

This was a nice two night stay for us. The people were nice, the rooms were good, the breakfast buffet was good and the views were very good. We would come back. During the day you can go up to the roof for even better views.
