I have been to the BCL Levante three times now, and believe it is good value for money.||Firstly, I would like to look at the positives;|1. The breakfast and dinner where very good, big thank you to Davide who always had a smile at breakfast and cooks the best bacon ;)|2. Thank you Mourad, amazing service, polite, attentive and always made my dinner experience better.|3. The spa was lovely, and Jessica was amazing, her massage is the best, I had two during my stay.|4. The bed and pillows are amazing and comfortable.|5. The pool area is large, clean and plenty of sunbeds throughout the day.|6. The power of the shower is excellent|7. Reception staff helpful||The negatives;||1. The quality of cleanliness in toilets inside the reception area and in the rooms has worsened. The bathrooms have a lot of mould and the shower cubicle in all rooms I have stayed in has leaked. It means that multiple towels are used to soak up excess water. My brothers toilet when he went into his room after travel was extremely dirty. The toilet had not been cleaned and there was faeces all around the area :(|2. The lifts are so hot, the air conditioning in hotel did not work for majority of our stay. Many people were finding it difficult to use the lifts due to the heat. We all stated that if the lifts stopped working, we would all panic, because there is no air. BCL need to sort this asap.|3. During one dinner I was spoken to rudely by a member of staff, because my brother and I sat at a table which was for 6 people and we are 2. There was plenty of room in the restaurant and I suffer with ill health which causes pain in my back. The seat we were on helped cushion my back. Her attitude was shocking and upsetting. The restaurant may have a protocol, however, it is the way you deliver that message which is important. I spoke to restaurant manger about this. Interestingly , my brother and I, witnessed many other men sitting on this table (only 2 people, sometimes 3) however, they were drunk and were never asked to move!!!!!||I really hope the BCL improves in certain areas because I still believe it is good value for money.

I stayed at the hotel in May, it is classified as a 4* Superior. This is the 3rd hotel I have stayed at in the last 4 weeks with this 'Superior' designation and I am at loss to understand how this one has this designation. My stay was much closer to what I would expect from a 3* hotel. Plus Points: Spacious room with bathroom with bath and separate shower. Good breakfast with plenty of choice, although poor coffee from the coffee machines and a toasters that were not functioning properly. Minus points: I had a basic level room, it was in need of refurbishment, with low quality furniture in the bedroom and a bathroom that was in need of renovation, the shower door did not close, the shower functioned badly. The room had no tea/coffee making and no fridge, the shower door did not fit, the shower was worn and difficult to use. There was a safe but to use it you had to pay extra. How is this a 4* Superior hotel? The hotel has 18 floors and 4 lifts, there can be a wait for the lift at busy times, it is situated about 1.5km from the centre of Benidorm, there are several restaurants nearby.

Fantastic stay. Lovely hotel and staff were excellent. Breakfast and dinner were very nice and tasty with a great variety. The room was wonderful, clean, tidy, and well maintained. The pool and poolside bar were excellent to enjoy some relaxing hours of sunshine. Thank you to the staff for the wine and chocolates left in our room for my partners birthday, a very kind and thoughtful gesture!. We both can't wait to come back again! Highly recommend a stay here!

Such a great hotel. The staff are really friendly especially Jean who went above and beyond. The animation team are great fun and provide fun games. The food is nice with a variety and the hotel is very clean. It has a great atmosphere and is in a good location with bars showing tribute acts just over the road. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and will definitely be coming back again.

We are here at the moment. |Positives |We have been coming here for the past 10 years. The hotel is clean, rooms spacious. Hannah at the pool bar is fantastic. Food great.|Negatives|The lifeguard who is usually here is fantastic and does at great job but for the last few days there has been a couple of young lifeguards who have just sat there. Therefore people are drinking and smoking in the pool, the drinks have been left by the side of the |pool, and he has just sat there whilst umbrellas are flying around in the wind. Someone spilt a drink and the lifeguard gave her a mop to clean it herself !!. I’m not a person who complains but this has made me|feel that I may book somewhere else in the future. We had planned to book for Christmas and to bring our family next summer. I just hope the original lifeguard is back for the rest of our holiday ( go home 5th July ) and we can enjoy our time and give the hotel the 5 stars it truly deserves

We were here in May and can I say for 2 apartments it was fab. From the receptionists to the bar staff I cannot fault it. The apartments are clean spacious and modern with lovely large balconies. But what made our holiday was Mar from the entertainment team she was absolutely amazing keeping both children and adults entertained all day, some people using her as a babysitter tbh. We had a disabled child with us that didnt really join in the games but she made sure she interacted with him throughout the day, what a great girl she is. We will be returning for sure. |Untill the next time :)

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! There was a great variety of food, and the restaurant staff were always kind and quick to help. We never had trouble finding sun beds by the pool, and the location was ideal—close to shops, the beach, and the main strip, all within walking distance. But the absolute highlight of our trip was the incredible animation team: Jony, Mar, and Axelle. Their energy, friendliness, and fun daily activities made our holiday truly memorable.

My last review about this hotel was absolutely glowing and have stayed many times but unfortunately the standards in the main hotel have considerably dropped. We have stayed in many hotels in Benidorm but this is the only one we have come back to time and time again and always said it’s the best one but after this stay we will be trying elsewhere. |The air conditioning in the main hotel is a trickle if anything at all . In the new apartments it is different again and fully working but please be aware of this if staying in the main block , you cannot sleep it’s so hot , it shouldn’t be advertised as we’ve been in cooler hotels without it . |The cleanliness of the rooms have slipped and the balconies look like they have not been touched for years. The toiletries are not replaced and the bath wasn’t cleaned all the time we were here . Reception was told about this but never got done . The floors were sticky in the room, never cleaned . On the plus side the extra pool is lovely , shame there’s no pool bar in that area. We will be back hopefully when they have spent some time on the hotel as it is looking very tired in places. The location brings us back, so hopefully with some TLC in the main hotel and not just the new apartment block we will return.
