Hotel Beaucour enjoys a perfect location right in the heart of Strasbourg, making it an excellent starting point for exploring the city on foot. The property itself is full of charm – a romantic, traditional half-timbered house beautifully decorated with flowers. Each room is unique, and the room we had this time was pleasant and nicely furnished. The bathroom was particularly lovely, and the overall cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent. For the room, the price was fair.||The staff were very friendly and helpful, which added to the welcoming atmosphere.||However, the breakfast experience was really disappointing. The dining area is much too small for the number of guests. On two mornings, we couldn’t find a table and had to return 20 minutes later. The buffet selection is very limited and the quality below expectations. What was most frustrating was that key items such as baguette and butter ran out (on both days) and were not replenished for a long time. On the first day, no bread was refilled at all for nearly half an hour, and we left. It was clear that the staff were doing their best, but with only one person responsible for the entire room, it was simply unmanageable.||If we should return to this hotel, we will definitely skip the breakfast and spend the 20 euros per person in a nearby café instead.
