Hotel Beausite

We only stayed one night due to a concert we attended in the area. We had a very pleasant stay, our room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and modern. The receptionist was very nice and friendly. She also prepared the breakfast buffet alone. All in all we were very content with everything. I would recommend.

The hotel is not excellent, good. The receptionist does not understand French or English well. I asked for a baby bed, which they did not have during the reservation. They told me that there is a baby bed. The breakfast is very bad. You have to wait. All you have is croissants, cheese, old bread and coffee. I do not recommend it

It's usually challenging to find a decent deal in Switzerland, especially during the busy tourist seasons. Beausite Hotel is a little off the beaten path and not directly in Lausanne but it's a dependable and decent value. The staff tries hard to make the stay the best possible! We had a room on the 4th floor on the corner and really enjoyed the cross-breeze the room had, there is no a/c or fan and it was a very warm day. Parking was convenient and right across the street and the included breakfast was a nice light offering to start the day. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and overall a decent value!

Perfect if you want a convenient, comfortable, and practically-priced hotel stay in Lausanne [near EPFL]. It's outside the city but very accessible by metro (10min to centre) and rail. There are small shops nearby where you can get food. The staff are friendly, too. They're renovating the hotel's kitchen/dining area so it should be better soon. Food is average, but my whole stay was excellent :) Would come again!

I enjoyed my stay at Beausite. Room was basic but had everything i needed. I really liked the bar downstairs where you have breakfast (again basic but fine to start the day) and can also buy evening meals and drinks. I ate there a few times and it was nice. Staff were friendly, didn't really speak english but they were patient with me and my limited french.||Near to Renens rail/metro station, and you get the free Lausanne transport card to use.

The highlight of this hotel is the staff, they are very attentive and service oriented, the receptionist isn’t 5, but 10 stars, she was always checking every detail. Thank you! This is a 2 stars hotel so things like air con, phone in the room or 24hrs reception isn’t available but the cleanliness, room condition, and service made us feel like in an exclusive resort. Breakfast was good, small variety of bread, cheese, cold cuts, coffee, tea, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. (Check pics) Hotel is conveniently located close to the Renens train station. A big migros and other stores are a short walk distance. We recommend Nico’s pizza just around the corner for easy available yummy pizza. We live in Zurich so I can see us coming back for a short break in te future as our experience was very good.

The hotel is located in a suburb of Lausanne, not the best place to be, I didn't feel safe.||The check in took rather long (20 min).||The room eyed good, the bed was comfortable but the duvet was too warm. (The material was not pleasant) ||I didn't sleep well, you could hear mice and rats on the roof an/or in the walls!!|| I wasn't able to get a good night of rest at this place.||For breakfast we had to walk around the building ending up in a very old restaurant where we were served a poor en simple breakfast.||||Even though the room looked good at first, I was glad I only had to stay for one night. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Provided a very convenient base for exploring the area around Lausanne and beyond. A short walk to and from Renens VD railway station. The hotel provide you with a Mobilis Lausanne Transport Card which is so useful. Room comfortable and spacious. Made very welcome. Breakfast satisfactory for needs. Would use again when in area.
