Hotel Bed & Breakfast Alphorn

The hotel is close to Interlaken West train station and to the town centre with its many shops and restaurants. Off road parking is included. The hotel has a family feel, and is managed by the owner, Christine, who treated us very warmly, and gave us the best room which made our stay. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and gave us lots of information, along with an Interlaken GasteKarte visitor's card, which provides free local transport and discounts on many local attractions. Rooms are spotlessly clean, peaceful and quiet, with cable TV and ensuite. The continental breakfast is delicious and we loved the seeded croissants and local bread. We certainly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend staying here.

Hotel Alphorn is a cozy, well-managed stay just a 5-minute walk from Interlaken West station. Owner Christine and her staff are warm and helpful. Rooms are small but spotless and a nice continental breakfast is served daily. Bus No. 104 from Interlaken West offers easy access to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen via windermill station. Eating boxed meals in rooms is restricted to maintain cleanliness. Overall a pleasant and convenient choice in Interlaken.

From the moment we arrived Christine went out of her way to make our stay the best she possibly could.|She gave us her best room which was a really nice surprise, and having the balcony really added to our stay as it was lovely to sit outside whenever we could.|The room itself was lovely and spotlessly clean and the continental breakfast was also really good with a nice selection available. |The location of the hotel is excellent, with Interlaken West station literally a couple of minutes walk away, but we were really surprised how quickly you could walk to Interlaken Ost, so we ended up walking everywhere. |Christine also gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and tips on what to do, and having free parking was another bonus, so just really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it.

I adore this hotel and I as a seasoned traveler, I am very fussy. Christine is a wonderful host to help guide your stay in the Amazing Swiss Alps! She recommended wonderful restaurants to my nephew and me and helped us with our plans! She runs her hotel with the utmost efficiency! It is flawlessly clean and meticulously taken care of. Breakfast and shower water pressure are perfect!! Hotel Alphorn is just a five minute walk from the train station and close to a great grocery store. We absolutely loved the location and appreciated Christine's amazing hospitality. She is absolutely brilliant.

We stayed at the Alphorn Hotel from the 3rd July until the 17th July. We arrived slightly after 7pm, but the owner waited behind to make sure we were checked in correctly. The staff are brilliant, from the lovely lady that does the breakfasts, to the lady that keeps the rooms spotless. They are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The owner Christine goes out of her way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The rooms are a bit small but entirely adequate. The cold buffet style breakfast is available from 7am until 10am, and is enough to keep you going until afternoon. We will be back in Interlaken in the future, and will definitely stay at the ALPHORN HOTEL.

I have stayed in a few hotels in Switzerland and this is by far the best. The owner Christine is incredible, as well as the rest of the staff. Everyone is friendly, and the breakfast is great! Convenient location to downtown, about 5 minute walk from the bus station. The rooms are large and very clean. I will come back here in a heartbeat. If you stay in interlaken, stay here!

My room was ready when I arrived to drop of my suitcase which was a good surprise, the room was spotless and was serviced the second day I stayed. The included Swiss breakfast was sufficient to set me up for the day. Location to Interlaken West Railway Station was good, 5 minutes away and very close to shops and restaurants as well.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. We were upgraded to a room with a little deck off of it. The owner was very proud of her little hotel. She was very helpful and informative when we asked for suggestions etc. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and quiet. Close to walk to things, just a bit off the main area so it was a peaceful stay which is what we wanted. Nice and close to walk to the train station and tourist areas. Breakfast was superb, she had fresh fruit, bread, yogurt, granola, cappuccino etc. The bed was comfy and everything very clean. It was a bit warm in the room but fan is provided. Would definitely stay here again.

A charming little bed and breakfast in Interlaken, just a walk from the train station. It's located in a quiet community between the train station and the main roadway that takes you to shopping and restaurants. Need to get info on restaurants? The owner, Christine, will give you all the information you need. The breakfast is a nice array of breads, cheeses and fruit. Our room, although small, was immaculate and had a balcony. Christine and her staff were very helpful, speak English, and are very engaged with their guests.

Great little hotel Stayed here a couple of days. Had a great time. The owner Christine is friendly and very helpful. Take her advice! She knows what's she is talking about. The rooms are nice and clean. The morning breakfast is really great. The jams are homemade by her mother. You must try them all. The place is a quick walk to the train station and near many restaurants and shops.

My girlfriend and I took a trip to Switzerland. One of our stops was in Interlaken and we stayed at the Hotel Alphorn Bed and Breakfast. It is a simple hotel, but well maintained, recently renovated, and just superbly run by Christine. Breakfast every morning is a selection of typical breakfast fares you would find in the states along with cheese, salami, and jams. The jams are made by Chrsitne's 80 year old mother and are quite good. Christine also gave us great advice about where to eat in Interlaken and what nearby towns and hiking we should check out. The hotel is a short walk from Interlaken West (note that Interlaken has two train stations) and is also a short walk from Interlaken's old town. the rooms are a bit small by western standards, but relatively par for the course for much of Europe. If you are going to be stopping in Interlaken I would highly recommend using the Hotel Alphorn as your base of operations to check out the area.

This hotel is a great find. My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon for one night and loved it. The rooms are super clean and laid out in a spacious way and we had a balcony. Not a view of anything special, but the room makes up for it. The room was modern and new, the colors are cool and there's sort of an IKEA Scandanavian feel to the furnishings. This is a great spot and a short distance from the Interlaken West train station: ;literally like an 8 minute easy walk with suitcases on rollers. The hotel owner is gracious and friendly and the breakfast was great (best selection of Swiss breads we had in our two weeks in Switzerland - and that says alot because all the bread was good on on our entire trip!)

Simply, but beautifully, appointed new-ish hotel. The hostess Christine is very sweet and helpful when booking rooms and checking in. And the breakfast in the morning is quite a spread!
