Hotel Bed & Breakfast Alphorn

This hotel was brilliant. The staff were amazing. So kinds and helpful. Even suggested a few restaurants and areas to visit. The location is less than 5 minutes from Interlaked West. The breakfast was good, offering fruit, yogurts, bread ham and cheese and lots of spreads. Would highly recommend this place.

Hotel is not kids friendly ||When we arrived, the owner told us kids under2 is not allowed and going to reject my reservation. Nothing written in hotel policy that children under 2 is not allow and only thing in FAQs wrote it wrong. |Hotel should put sign "Adult only" on the hotel title if they wish to have only adult customer.

The old lady was super nice and informative! She carefully and patiently explained all the rules and gave us great advice on places to eat at. I'm sorry I didn't get your name, but thank you for all your help. The twin bed room was also very nice with an en-suite bathroom. Perfectly adequate for two people. We had an amazing breakfast the next morning too!

The host, Christine, was the highlight of our stay here. She warmly welcomed us upon arrival and immediately made us feel at home. She gave us a lot of helpful tourist info to make our sightseeing experience more enjoyable. She was very warm and friendly ... this is a rare experience in hotels. The room itself was alright ... comfy, had the essential amenities, and was very clean. The location is excellent - it is in a quiet residential area, but yet within walking distance of the Interlaken West train station, many restaurants, and all the shopping you need! Fantastic location, great for tourists / travelers. Christine alone makes staying here worthwhile, and we would happily go back just to say hello to her :-)

Absolute nicest people in Switzerland. The best hotel I stayed in my life, thanks to the lovely hostess and the staff. Convenient location, just a couple minutes from Interlaken West, when all of your journeys begin. The room was great, very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. And the breakfast was great every single day. I just feel sorry for all the tourists in Interlaken who stayed in some other hotels.

Hotel Alphorn was an excellent place for our 3 nights stay. It was a short walk from Interlaken West Train Station in a quiet street and in walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Our room was very clean and comfortable and Bathroom facilities were perfect. The continental breakfasts exceeded our expectation and had a good variety on offer.|All the staff including the Manager, Christine, were extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. We would highly recommend this Hotel for any stay in Interlaken.

Lovely room, we were upgraded to one with a balcony, real cool! No air-conditioner but there is a fan. The rooms aren't soundproof so you do hear other rooms.... The staff are amazing!!! The owner is a delight, the morning breakfast lady is very kind and attentive and extremely helpful! We really appreciated all that she did for us! The room lady was too cute! She wanted to clean our room daily but we let it be known that we're not messy and she could do it once we have vacated for good! Simple yet pleasant breakfast, nothing hot to eat (besides the toast) but everything that was laid out was quite tasty! Pillows a bit flat but the bed was comfy and with warm coverings!

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Alphorn, and the owner, Christine, was the highlight! She was helpful with suggestions, quick with any needs in your room, and just an overall lovely person to start your day talking to. The breakfast was also amazing. The hotel was on a quiet street with an easy walk to the Interlaken West train station and the town. We would definitely stay here again!

A charming little bed and breakfast in Interlaken, just a walk from the train station. It's located in a quiet community between the train station and the main roadway that takes you to shopping and restaurants. Need to get info on restaurants? The owner, Christine, will give you all the information you need. The breakfast is a nice array of breads, cheeses and fruit. Our room, although small, was immaculate and had a balcony. Christine and her staff were very helpful, speak English, and are very engaged with their guests.

Great little hotel Stayed here a couple of days. Had a great time. The owner Christine is friendly and very helpful. Take her advice! She knows what's she is talking about. The rooms are nice and clean. The morning breakfast is really great. The jams are homemade by her mother. You must try them all. The place is a quick walk to the train station and near many restaurants and shops.

My girlfriend and I took a trip to Switzerland. One of our stops was in Interlaken and we stayed at the Hotel Alphorn Bed and Breakfast. It is a simple hotel, but well maintained, recently renovated, and just superbly run by Christine. Breakfast every morning is a selection of typical breakfast fares you would find in the states along with cheese, salami, and jams. The jams are made by Chrsitne's 80 year old mother and are quite good. Christine also gave us great advice about where to eat in Interlaken and what nearby towns and hiking we should check out. The hotel is a short walk from Interlaken West (note that Interlaken has two train stations) and is also a short walk from Interlaken's old town. the rooms are a bit small by western standards, but relatively par for the course for much of Europe. If you are going to be stopping in Interlaken I would highly recommend using the Hotel Alphorn as your base of operations to check out the area.

This hotel is a great find. My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon for one night and loved it. The rooms are super clean and laid out in a spacious way and we had a balcony. Not a view of anything special, but the room makes up for it. The room was modern and new, the colors are cool and there's sort of an IKEA Scandanavian feel to the furnishings. This is a great spot and a short distance from the Interlaken West train station: ;literally like an 8 minute easy walk with suitcases on rollers. The hotel owner is gracious and friendly and the breakfast was great (best selection of Swiss breads we had in our two weeks in Switzerland - and that says alot because all the bread was good on on our entire trip!)

Simply, but beautifully, appointed new-ish hotel. The hostess Christine is very sweet and helpful when booking rooms and checking in. And the breakfast in the morning is quite a spread!
