Hotel Bel-Air Eden

Great location, at the foot of the Eiger, lovely views from our room. Set on the main road, it was kind of equidistant from the main cable car sites on each side of the town. Nice, small bar area. There is a small parking area that we were able to use, pretty much next to the hotel, which was really handy. Our rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, set us up for the day. Couple who run it are very friendly and helpful. It seems better than the 2 stars it has. I would recommend it.

Hotel Bel-Air Eden was a fantastic choice for my stay in Grindelwald. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking mountain view from my room, creating a memorable experience. The staff (or possibly owners) were incredibly helpful, adding a personal touch to the service. The breakfast options were diverse and delicious, setting the right tone for each day. Its close proximity to Grindelwald train station made traveling hassle-free. The hotel's abundance of tourist information was a great help for planning excursions. Moreover, my room was always clean and well-kept. Overall, I had a wonderful time at Hotel Bel-Air Eden and highly recommend it for a memorable Swiss Alps experience.

Great value-for-money hotel in Grindelwald. Close to the train station, friendly staff, room was exactly as shown in photos - clean, comfortable, great view etc. breakfast was lovely too. Meats, cheeses, breads, fruit, croissants, yoghurt etc. the coffee was lovely too, which helped! Free space to park our car right next to the hotel, secured by a removable chain across the bays. We would 100% stay there again if we were travelling to Switzerland.

Amazing location, a 30 sec walk to the train station. Cozy and homely stay with the most amazing views. Great, simple breakfast too

I had a very nice stay here. Right next to the station and good walking distance to others. Breakfast was great. The wifi was okay, It was slow sometimes. Comfy bed, but it might be too small for people 6ft+. Overall, it was an excellent stay and would recommend it for its price with the breakfast!

Nice hotel to stay with friendly staff. They provide you with all the information that you need. Very reasonable price too! 😊 Small but decent breakfast with lovely tea! Breakfast room has views to the mountaineous area. We had very relaxing mornings here. ☕️ Our room was a tad old-fashioned but everything works and everything is clean! Small bathroom with an awesome shower!Really enjoyed this after hikes in the summer. We had everything we needed. ✨️ We also had a balcony with a view to the main Street of the village and some flowers. Cute curtainsystem at the outside of the building. Best not to open the window in the morning due to traffic noise, but ideal for letting in some air in the room. 💐 One point of feedback: please do invest in new pillows. The current ones are rather large but very flat. 🔧 Thank you for having us.

The hotel experience is quite extreme... the rooms we stayed in were absolutely tiny, the furniture very dated, the bedding and towels very basic and the crockery at breakfast also dated. The business has seen very very little investment in a long time.|But it's brilliant.. Amazing value for Grindy, everything absolutely spotless, the staff super friendly, breakfast really delicious and a broad spread, loads of high pressure hot water for showers after skiing and a great location right by the station. |So it's really very not fancy, but the important things are just perfect.
