Hotel Bella Vista Zermatt

I have stayed here twice during the winter season, and it is an amazing place to stay. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The breakfast is wonderful, featuring some great local treats. The rooms are nice and always clean. The spa facilities are excellent, offering multiple options for relaxation, and they are always spotless. Plus, they are in a great location with stunning views of the Matterhorn and easy access to the ski slopes. We will definitely be staying again.

I can’t speak highly enough of Bella Vista. We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and stayed over Christmas and New Year. The communication beforehand was 5* answering every query I had and going above and beyond getting us the room we wanted for our whole stay. We checked in late after the reception had closed but the instructions and welcome notes were perfect. Breakfast was delicious every single day - Vera was so lovely and remembered our coffee order on day 3, bringing us “the usual”. All staff members were warm and friendly. Special mention to Nathalie who welcomed us on our first day and from then on was always helpful. Massage and spa, incredible. Ski and boot room, convenient. Glühwein, best I’ve ever had. Fondue night, delicious. I wish we could come again. I would have happily stayed for longer and longer. Thank you so much ❤️

Our stay at Bella Vista was one of the best hotel experiences in my life. The Family that runs it alongside the additional staff are all so nice and accommodating. They seriously go above and beyond. They made us feel as if we were staying at their own home. I was blown away by their wellness/ spa areas. Sauna, cold plunge, and relaxation rooms were such a great way to relax and recover after skiing. It’s very convenient being just down the street from where we finished skiing each day. The views are spectacular. Do not forget to try the pretzel bread at the morning breakfast. I can’t recommend this place enough.

This hotel is truly an oasis. The hotel staff is beyond superb, they were so incredibly helpful and pleasant, helping us navigate our trip and time at Zermatt, advising and making great suggestions.||Having the ski and boot room are so helpful. Breakfast is an incredible selection of home made foods, everything you could want, with an lovely cook making items fresh.||This is great for couples or for families, a cozy spot to enjoy and relax by the fire with wine, or in the spa. We will be coming back specifically for this hotel, I can't recommend it more. It beat our expectations at every turn.

Could not recommend this hotel enough! Rooms were very comfortable, we had an excellent view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. The breakfast was exceptional. Team went above and beyond during our stay to make us feel welcome and were so helpful in answering our questions prior to visiting. Would love to return here!

Stayed here for a week over Christmas and loved every moment. The hotel was beautiful, our room perfect, and the wellness centre a stunning bonus, the hosts and staff were caring and attentive, the breakfasts were devine and greatly missed for the rest of our travels, the view of the village and Matterhorn from our room was spectacular! We would love to stay again!

Absolutely wonderful little Hotel. Led with the heart. Infrastructure great/all you wish for. Service fantastic. Great breakfast. Very clean, still very environmental conscious. Centrally located, with a 5-7 Min. walk (a little uphill) to the Bahnhofstrasse. Can only recommend this jewel.

I can't say enough good things about hotel Bella vista. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in September while visiting Zermatt. The breakfast each morning was phenomenal and the kitchen staff were so friendly and inviting. The front of the house staff was also very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very clean and cozy with excellent views of the Matterhorn. We hope to return someday!
