Hotel Bellavista

Best spot to arguably the best driving road in the world, the Stelvio Pass. This is not the first time I have stayed here and not the last. Family run hotel for families, couples and anyone really. Friendly staff, attentive and always available, English, German, Italian and other languages. Attention to detail and a quality not found easily in this region of the Italian Alps. Their Michelin chef never failed to produce such amazing dishes… even the kids enjoyed meal times!

Very nice service. The place is beautiful. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the jacuzzi with a 360 degrees view of the alps. The food is good. The breakfast is really nice! It is located on the base of Stelvio pass, which is an amazing route with stunning scenery

Our stay at Bella Vista Hotel was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel offered a wide range of activities, from hiking and sports to excellent childcare. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had stunning views of the Ortler mountains. The food was sensational, rivaling star-rated restaurants. We recommend the half-board option to enjoy the exquisite 5-course dinners. For families, it’s a paradise—kids enjoyed the buffet and activities, while parents could relax. The hotel even reopened the pool late for the kids and provided indoor play areas during bad weather. For a luxurious touch, rooms with private whirlpools on the terrace are perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking. While the price is higher, the service, location, and overall experience make it worth it. We felt completely at ease and look forward to returning. Bella Vista truly offers a beautiful and unforgettable vacation.

This was a 10/10 holiday. The Thoni family are extremely welcoming and we had a fantastic time. The Kids Club for the children was a real highlight and the food is of a very high quality. The hot tub on the terrace was also enjoyed by the whole family at the end of the day. We will gladly come again in future.

The most amazing stay ever! The Hotels staff were so welcoming and accommodating! Our room was extremely comfortable and had an amazing view of the valley! We enjoyed relaxing in the luxurious sauna and outdoor infinity pool, followed by an amazing multiple course dinner! I highly recommend staying at Hotel Bellavista for an authentic, delicious and relaxing experience!

Sssh, don’t tell everyone! We stayed at Hotel Bella Vista last week after our family that we stayed with recommended it (it was their 3rd time!). We were a family of 3 with a 10 year old son and a dog. I literally cannot fault the hotel or experience in any way and can honestly say it was one of the best holiday weeks of my life, and I’ve travelled a lot and lived in several countries! The week was a perfect mix of family time, relaxing adult time, active family time and culinary delights - I was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. The organised walks, activities and 40 hours(!) kids’ care mean there really is something for everyone. The views and scenery are breathtaking and the staff work extremely hard to give you the best experience ever. Special thanks to Stephan and Petra for being such amazing, warm, genuine hosts. I believe life is too short to go to the same place twice, but we are already talking about returning next year. Thank you so much for a truly special holiday team Bella Vista!

Our family spent the last carnival holidays at the Hotel Bella Vista and we would like to share our enthusiasm: Everything was great!|| |The unique location of the hotel with the beautiful view of the mountains positively affect the soul, fresh air and sun also contribute to the inner harmony. Thanks to the family atmosphere, which the Thöni family lovingly give to the guests in their hotel, each of us really felt homelike.||At the end of February this year it was so warm, the sun was shining so intensely, that the snow has noticeably decreased in one week. Nevertheless, we had a lot of fun on the slopes (in Trafoj as well as in Sulden). By the way, many families come here to teach their children skiing: In a few meters from the hotel there is a ski school and the children are professionally assisted, while their parents explore the higher slopes with the ski lift.|| |Every evening after the sporty day we enjoyed the newly built outdoor sauna with panoramic window. On several days there were professional infusions, which contributed even more to relaxation with the view of the magnificent mountain scenery. In addition to the sauna, there was a hot whirlpool and a small lake, where you could jump into the really ice-cold water after the infusion. Meanwhile, our children had so much fun in the heated infinity pool, indescribably amazing!|| |We especially liked the evening wine tasting, conducted by Stephan Gander. For tasting he offered the guests the great wines from South Tyrol and told a lot about the history of this special viniculture region. At the end there was a test: the guests could smell the small bottles with different scents and guess what kind of taste it was.|| |The in-house restaurant, which serves a wide choice of food and drinks for breakfasts and first-class dinners, is a world-class restaurant. Plentiful, delicious and unique! Before going to bed we enjoyed the last minutes of the day with a glass of wine by the fireside on the leather sofa.| ||So we will certainly be back!

Stayed for week Jan-Feb 2024. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. The location was stunning in the snow. The food was first class. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very comfortable and had a lovely warm atmosphere. We as English speaking guests were made most welcome. Definitely worth visiting this hotel.
