Hotel "Belle Epoque"

I booked this hotel for three days over Christmas for my daughter, who had been backpacking since June. She was sad about spending Christmas on her own for the first time. She loved every minute of her stay. She was upgraded to a junior suite, which she loved. The room was immaculate, and the bathtub with its jets was amazing. She was especially impressed by the staff and the level of service she received. She was impressed how they greeted her by name when she came and went. They opened doors for her. And when she ordered pizza from outside the hotel, they had it sent up with a plate, silverware, and a cloth serviette. She spent time in their sitting area, which was very cosy with a lit fire in the fireplace. I am very happy I booked the 3 days at this hotel. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay.

The rooms were nice and spacious. Location was easy to access anywhere in town. The morning concierge was delightful- genuinely happy to help with all of our questions. Shared knowledge of the town and best things to do. Good breakfast. Overall a great experience.

All of the staff that we encountered were very welcoming and helpful, especially the front desk. Our room was a family room and it was located on the third floor. This set up was two rooms across from each other. We had a private hallway that could be locked so that the two rooms were connected. When we went out, we left our room doors unlocked, locked the hallway door and then only took one key. The hotel is located near the main square and the weekend that we were there Baden Baden was having a music festival that we could walk to. The hotel breakfast was good and they also offer cake and tea in the afternoon. We had both breakfast and cake in the private, hotel gardens.

The location is in the center of the town, the room is amazing, the staff very polite and attentive. They don't serve food here like for dinner, just some tea in the afternoon and breakfast, but they have food at the other hotel with retaurant - Little Prince, but it doesn't work without reservation, we tried once without luck, instead they recommended us Rizzi. In the room there was a brochure with the history of Baden Baden city. It was already impressive for me, but knowing its history made me feel like I was part of something special. But even here are homeless people and there were also victims of the holocaust. The city gives you a sense of greatness, but also roots you into the reality of our times.

We chose Hotel Belle Epoque for its excellent location, private parking, and charming old-world style. At first glance, the main building really raises expectations. It is a lovely historic mansion filled with antiques, chandeliers, and a beautiful garden area that looks absolutely fantastic.||Unfortunately, the actual room experience didn’t fully match that first impression. Our room was located in a back building behind the garden, in the attic. While it had some character, it felt a bit cramped, with the bathtub placed in one corner of the room and a very small separate bathroom with a shower. Soundproofing was also quite poor, and we had the bad luck of noisy fellow guests, children running up and down the stairs late into the evening, which made it difficult to relax or sleep until close to midnight.||The free breakfast was fine but nothing particularly memorable.||Overall, while the main building has undeniable charm and a lot of potential, the accommodation experience fell short of what we expected after that initial “wow” moment. Still, our stay was okay, and the location and parking convenience were definite positives.

I accidentally left my jacket in a wardrobe, and they held on to it for a week for me while I figured out how to get it shipped back to the USA. The staff at the hotel are kind, attentive, and extremely helpful. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was perfect. I have not stayed in a better hotel!

Lovely place to stay in Baden Baden. Old world charm. Pleasant and helpful staff. Each room is different with art and interesting furniture. The afternoon tea in the garden is a pleasure. Our room was a junior suite so we had plenty of room and it's quiet whatever room you're in, I should think. The hotel is just a short walk from most places you want to go in the town. You need to get a taxi from Baden Baden train station.

As a solo female traveler in my early twenties I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff were so hospitable, the rooms were lovely, and the breakfast and tea service were delightful! Highly recommend!
