Let's start with some useful information: not all rooms are situation in the “historic” building. The rooms are divided into three buildings (pay attention not all have elevator). The main building is a magnificent an old mansion. The garden WOOOOW!!! Beautiful and very well-kept. I must say that perhaps the highlight of the facility is the main building. Breakfast is also served there in magnificent rooms. I must say that I noticed a big difference on the quality of the breakfast offer between Sunday morning and Monday morning....choice of food ok but nothing special. For a 4-star hotel I would have expected more. The staff very friendly and helpful both at the front desk and the waiters. I suggest having a cocktail in the garden. Very kindly they showed us two rooms and let us choose the one we preferred: very large and bright room. I must say the room spacious and worthy of a 4-star hotel, the bathroom on the other hand very disappointing. Small and cramped. Overall a good stay in the heart of Baden Baden, the city center is within easy walking distance including the two thermals baths. Very nice and pleasant town. Overall I highly suggest a stay at this hotel (also tried the Petit Prince restaurant in the sister hotel with great food).

Stunning hotel in the middle of town. Like a magical oasis in the desert!! Beautiful setting, a lovely big room overlooking the stunning gardens. Excellent staff and service. It all combines to make a wonderful stay in a delightful hotel. Thoroughly recommended, thank you.

The belle epoque hotel takes you back in time to a beautiful, aristocrat era. Luxurious without being pretentious. The staff were all very friendly, kind, helpful and anticipated your needs without having to ask. They all remembered my coffee order after the first morning. ||Breakfast was served in a sumptuous dining room. The selection was delicious having both indulgent and healthy options. The garden just off the dining room is an oasis in the middle of the town. ||They serve tea between 3-5. And set you up in front of a cozy fireplace. The tea selection was huge and delicious. ||The room is large with a vey comfortable bed ( I have difficulties sleeping and slept through the night). The bathroom has a shower and a huge jacuzzi tub with an extra paid option where they bring you goodies for a beautiful experience. ||The location was a two minute walk to all the shops. ||I fell in love with this charming hotel and will definitely be back.

The building itself is a work of art. We were luckily upgraded to a deluxe suite room in the main building, with fantastic view overlooking the charming courtyard garden and mountain trees further away. The room itself was clean, well-decorated and sufficiently equipped. The gentleman at the reception desk was very helpful, welcoming, and professional. In general we greatly enjoyed our stay there. The only complaint is about the breakfast service. We sat inside the dining room since all the outside spots were taken. By the time all other guests left and we were the only guests remained eating( still 45 mins before the breakfast service ended) , the staffs began to clean up the tables, making all kinds of noise banging cupboards around and stirring up dusts all over the place. We felt so disturbed that we just finished our breakfast in a haste. Why just couldn’t they clean up until guests finish their breakfast? Or is this another case of racial discrimination since our presence seemed “ invisible” to them? This is not the service I expected in a 4-star hotel, with a price like this. They should be properly trained to respect their guests, regardless of their country of origin or racial appearance.

This is a very shabby hotel which is in need of updating . Its belle epoque credentials apply only to the exterior. Inside it's full of very bad cheap reproduction artwork . The first room we were shown had grubby carpets, overfilled with random bits of furniture and 1980s style upholstery . Electrical points etc are also very old . The afternoon tea that they promote as a feature is actually a samovar and box of tea bags . You serve yourself and there are a couple of slices of cake left out on the side . That's not afternoon tea! Breakfast also very lacklustre. Parking is expensive and the only saving grace ( might be that it has a garden in summer ... perhaps???) is its central location . Short staffed but helpful and dealt with room change request very graciously . I guess they're used to that. All in all a waste of money and most importantly you cannot make up for the disappointment and feeling a bit ripped off

Everything was perfect. The hotel is a beauty - a 19th centure palais which has kept its atmosphere while including nearly all modern amenities (no elevator, though, only stairs). We stayed at the main building, in a beautiful suite with balcony, ac and a whirlpool where everything was, again, perfect. |Breakfast is sumptuous, the breakfast rooms are stylish; weather permitting, you can also have breakfast on the terrace or in the garden near the fountain. During the day, you can also lounge at the garden, near the fountain or in the shade under the trees. There is free afternoon tea and cake and you can get drinks in the evening at the fireplace or, again, in the garden. All in all very relaxing (and I managed the stairs even on two crutches...). The hotel is near the city center, a bus stop is near by.

Wonderful 19th Century Hotel. The decorations are beautiful and outstanding compared to other hotel chains. Excellent location to explore the surrounding area and walkable into the centre of Baden-Baden.||The staff are fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble from helping with luggage or ordering drinks to have in the pretty garden or on the terrace. ||Parking was no issue at the hotel.||Breakfast was very varied and delicious.

Lovely. They noticed my walking stick (recent injury) and were kind and considerate and changed arrangements to suit me. Strongly recommend.
