"The Hôtel Belle Vue in Fouesnant is a sweet little mom-and-pop, where the owners greet you with a glass of hard cider without any trace of the barnyard."

Even with the renovations still an old time feeling. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms modern and spacious with everything you need. Location right next to sea. Can hear waves at all times. Restaurant super good . Food very well presented and extremely tasty. A place to relax and enjoy.

Nice, airy, bright and clean rooms. Simple continental breakfast. Nicely located right by the beach (though a walk from the village center). Friendly staff.||Dinner is a "one single menu" of 3 course (no variations possible).

We spent five nights at this friendly hotel and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is family owned and everyone went out of their way to make our stay one to remember. We had a sea view room which was a little dated but very clean and comfortable with everything that we required during our stay. As is frequently the case in the majority of French hotels there was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but a minor negative point. The hotel is in a great position only yards from the beach (Cap Coz see separate review) with safe swimming. There is a large free car park to the rear and a very pleasant garden with a relaxing decking area with outdoor furniture perfect for relaxing. You can phone the bar from here to order drinks. There is an outdoor jacuzzi adjacent to the decking although we didn't get a chance to use it because of the weather. The highlight of our stay was the food served in the restaurant with lovely views over the bay. We had elected for half board (recommended) and the variety and quality of the dishes was in our experience of the highest quality. Compliments to the chef for their imaginative and varied menus.Add to all this the friendliness and professionalism of the waiting staff members and it all added up to a very enjoyable five days. Finally if your French is a bit rusty all the staff we encountered spoke very good English.

Our first visit to the restaurant on what has become an annual visit to Brittany. The place had been highly recommended and we were not disappointed. We went with friends who had been before and wanted to go back. We all chose from the €29 set menu which had ample and varied choices. The a la cartel menu looked good too. All of the food was exceptionally well prepared and presented. The service was impeccable, attentive but not obtrusive. The fining room is light and airy and we were fortunate to have a window table overlooking the sea. All in all a wonderful evening and dining experience. But be warned if you want to eat there book a table or you may well be ||disappointed. Very good value for money.

This is a very special hotel in a quiet spot. Our room was spotless, modern and comfortable with a view over the bay. The staff were friendly and helpful with good English. We were staying half board and the food was excellent with the usual choice of breakfast breads, cereals, ham, cheese etc. Evening meal was a set menu but if there was something you didn't like you could ask for a substitute. The food was excellent and good value. A good car park and garden with a hot tub. The only slight downside some people might note was no lift, but the view from the 3rd floor is worth the climb.

We stopped here for one night and were very pleased. The Mother of the owner was extremely lovely and spoke excellent English. The rooms were decent sized with nice bathrooms. Our room overlooked the bay and we kept our window open all night to hear the sound of the waves, which were just across the street. The view was beautiful, especially at night when the lights twinkled most of the way around the bay. There are obviously parts of the coast uninhabited and they were dark. Breakfast was included and it was a nice buffet. Parking was free in a large lot. No elevators but I imagine the staff would provide help if needed.

Stayed as a couple for 2 nights at the end of April. Price is excellent and you would pay much more for a hotel in this kind of location in the UK. Very friendly owners and staff. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and there were a couple of other places to eat in Cap Coz. We took our bikes as we'd visited the area before and wanted to revisit some old haunts - Beg Meil and Mousterlin. The area was very quiet as the season had not really started and the weather was mixed but that is Brittany for you even at the height of summer. Would visit again and definitely recommend. We were the only English people staying but that was not a problem and we spoke a mixture of French and English but the owners spoke good English.
