Hotel Bellevue

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, featuring a large bath and a very powerful shower, and everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. The food was excellent, 10/10 no notes, we genuinely looked forward to dinner each day. Creative and exciting dishes.The staff were incredibly friendly, chatty, and always helpful. Special mention to Zoltan and his amazing cocktails, absolute top bloke! Also to HR and Simone (apologies for not remembering every name), though honestly the entire team was fantastic. The spa was lovely, and we had fun discovering all the different features. The outdoor heated pool was especially magical during a snowstorm. The slopes are conveniently located just around the corner, with an easy slide down a blue run to reach the lifts. We also enjoyed being able to snowboard back from the Nederhütte at night. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you for having us and taking excellent care of us 🍻.

We have just spent a wonderful week at Hotel Bellevue. Our twin room with balcony was lovely with stunning views. Found the bed to be very comfortable. Delicious food at breakfast and the evening meal with a varied and interesting menu each night. The service of the staff was very attentive and efficient. When I managed to leave my backpack at a mountain restaurant the staff managed to make contact and have it delivered back to me by the following morning. The spa facilities were lovely and the outdoor pool was such a treat with stunning mountain views. Access to the ski slopes is easy with a short walk before being able to ski down to the gondola station. Bus stops to Hochgurgl and Solden are a very short walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Bellevue and hope to return again.

We had such a wonderful week here. Amazing facilities, the room was spotless and the food was incredible, but the staff were the real highlight. My 4 year old son was with us and they were so friendly and accommodating, they went above and beyond to make sure that we were catered for. I did not get to thank them before we left but I am so grateful for their hospitality, my son is still talking about them and is desperate to go back. Thank you so much.

We stayed here as a group with a mixture of adults, teenagers and children. The lady who manages the hotel should honestly not be permitted to engage with the public, I leave it there, but if rude and unwelcoming behaviour are what you seek then this may be the place for you. ||The mistake we made was we did not know anyone who had been to obergurgl previously as it seems she is a Local legend in terms of her manner. ||The rooms were clean and tidy and some of the staff, particularly the bar staff are friendly, restaurant staff not up to the same standard. ||Obergurgl is a great family resort with pleasant skiing to cover most family needs, it is quiet compared to places like Mayrhofen or St Anton. ||Well worth a visit but chose a different hotel unless the manager retires.

It was just as lovely as we remembered from our last trip a few years ago. It's in a good location with a great view. The food is very good, with lots of choice. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. We absolutely love the pool area; it's very relaxing after skiing. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, as was our Inghams rep. A special mention has to go to Zoltan, Sven, Martin and Gary, who are a credit to their employers. We love the ski area too, and especially the Nederhutte, which is a must for apres ski and great music. We will be returning in the future.

This must be the worst hotel in Europe. Stay away. I read their response and updated my review to inform and warn anyone of their practices: This owner suggests that he had the right to charge me the cancellation fee. I have proof via emails that the cancellation fee was €1800, which is already a lot of money. I had paid a deposit of €2500 and they were supposed to refund me the difference between €2500 I had paid and the €1800 cancellation fee. They had even said they will make the refund. Then I receive an email from them saying that they made a mistake and my cancellation fee was actually €3300, and they had charged my card AGAIN for the remaining €800. They didn’t check with me first, since they previously said the cancellation fee was €1800. They just accepted cancellation and charge me a total of €3300. I find this to be absolutely disgusting, they don’t deserve to have a rating over 0 stars for the way they act.

This is a Top-Notch Place. Service level and ability to listen to guests is outstanding and natural, not to formal. All the staff we met are very friendly and attentive. The boss lady is participating in the daily work and seems to have perfect overview. All details are in perfect order all the time. The food is next level. Brillant 5 course dinners included in the half board. Variating and neatly set tables every morning and evening. I never saw paper napkin. Breakfast lavishes. Vine list i 4 cm thick. Probably very interesting for the connoisseur. The ski room is the neatest I´ve been in. In short, everything you see, touch or taste in this place is of very high quality. My wife and I had a real great six days here. When I saw the dinner meny our last morning I considered staying another day, but we had a flight to catch..... I also think their pricing is very reasonable considering what you get. We will probably be back.

We had a wonderful week at the Bellevue - travelled with crystal. Food was excellent, large buffet breakfasts and dinners were an enjoyable 5 courses each evening. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful with whatever you need - Simone runs a tight ship and is always ensuring her guests are happy. Our room was in the annex which meant a small outdoor walkway to the main hotel however it gave us an enormous room with large terrace and our personal place for our skis and boots just outside our door. The location allows you to ski within 50m of the front door (with a small push in the mornings) and the elevated position above the town centre gives excellent views. The wellness area is fantastic with a heated outdoor pool. There is a fabulous in-house masseuse to help your post piste recovery. Even though we left very early, they still had breakfast ready for us at 0530. Overall a great base in a wonderful resort.
