We had the pleasure of experiencing Bellevue Syrene and I want to express my gratitude. What a beautiful hotel and amazing experience! Everyone from Claudio N, Bob and the rest of your staff provided nth degree service. You set the bar extremely high, in a league of your own and I wanted to say thank you. I know you are 5 star rated but you are above that. Many thanks to you and your staff for you service and for going above and beyond. I would recommend anyone looking for a stunning place in Sorrento with the absolute best staff to stay with you.

I booked this hotel nearly a year in advance to get the best rates and decided to splurge for my 50th birthday—and I’m so glad I did. We stayed in a Classic Room with Sea View, and although I was initially nervous due to the limited reviews, the experience exceeded all expectations.||The room was incredibly spacious, not tiny at all. It featured a large bathroom area, a separate wardrobe space, and a comfortable king-sized bed. There was also a stocked complimentary minibar, a Nespresso machine, and even a clothes steamer. The private balcony offered absolutely breathtaking sea views and views of Mt Vesuvius||Every evening, the entire town seemed to gather just outside the hotel to watch the sunset, but we had the best seat in the house right from our balcony, enjoying a bottle of Prosecco provided by the hotel. It was magical and breathtaking ||Breakfast was, hands down, the best of all the places we stayed during our trip. The buffet was extensive, with a beautiful spread of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, and more. There’s also a fantastic à la carte menu, do yourself a favor and order the eggs benedict! Dining on the terrace each morning with panoramic views and a live piano player was unforgettable.||Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the property. One unique feature is the lift across from the restaurant that takes you all the way down to the private beach with sun beds and umbrellas, at no extra cost for guests. Alternatively, you can take the stairs or walk through the tunnel and steps carved into the cliffside. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind setting.||There’s a very small gym onsite. The lobby offers complimentary wine, sodas, juices, and snacks throughout the day.||My only complaint was the room key. The door often struggled to recognize it, and even when we were shown to our room, the attendant had trouble getting it to work. A minor inconvenience in an otherwise exceptional stay.||The staff was consistently lovely and helpful, always a warm greeting.||Highly recommend this property for a special occasion or just to treat yourself.

Our stay at the Bellevue Syrene was perfect for our visit to the Amalfi Coast. From the first greeting of, "Welcome home", we felt so taken care of. The General Manager, Claudio, and his staff treated us like family, greeting us warmly every time we came into view. ||We stayed in the beautiful Audrey Suite with three different outdoor spaces including one with a plunge pool/hot tub. It was a a spectacular way to watch sunsets over the Bay of Napoli.||Amenities included a breakfast room with expansive views and live piano music, a full buffet, and an impressive menu selection. We also enjoyed small savory and sweet bites along with wine, soda and coffee throughout the day in the lounge.||The Concierge, Francesco gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, helped us hire a car for the day, and spent time answering our questions about the area. And Claudio gave us a private tour of the grotto that serves as the hotel's wine cellar,||We enjoyed the art and artifacts throughout the hotel and its property. Though we were there a little early in the season for the beach, we did go down to the water to see the grottos and cabanas and the private beach looked lovely.||The hotel is beautiful. The location is world class. And the staff is overflowing with genuine hospitality. We highly recommend a stay at the Bellevue Syrene.

Incredible hotel, we had French champagne (in Italy - I know 🙄) on the outside terrace with friends, the views are stunning and staff are wonderful. It was a joy to be there. Shall return as the quality of the hotel is beyond 5 star without a doubt. Fantastic art inside the hotel.

Without a doubt, the best and most elegant dining experience we’ve had! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We booked the restaurant for our 1 year marriage anniversary and this was the highlight of the trip. 🤍 Prefect evening and would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the area. 🎯🍋 We were blessed with a tray of special complimentary dishes and welcomed with a glass of sparkling white wine from the coast, and to top it off, a finishing treat of a Happy Anniversary cake dessert to finish off a perfect evening! 💎 Thank you to all the staff and management for their friendly and professional hospitality. 🙏

I’m here to rave about Il Costeria, the bar at Hotel Bellevue Syrene. It wasn’t listed so I have to write this review under the hotel, but we had the best dinner on the bar terrace. We weren’t able to get into the terrace restaurant and our hotel recommended we book at Il Costeria which has the exact same view and they were so right. It’s a smaller plates menu but you can have amazing cocktails, dinner or light bites and watch the amazing sunset. Hopefully this little secret won’t blow up like the restaurant but I did want to share for those wanting the view experience at Bellevue!

Stunning hotel with every amenity. Pictures cannot give the depth of beauty for this place. Sofia at reception and greeting offering exceptional welcome. Gaspare, present at every breakfast and at the one evening we dined in the restaurant made the place feel small and inviting. Live pianist at every breakfast and at dinner. Impeccably clean and bright rooms, each of which offered the cliff view of the sea from Sorrento. Very much looking forward to returning and gratitude to every one of the staff.

We had dinner last night at the restaurant. The property and setting are amazing. We were 45 minutes early for our reservation and planned to go to the bar for a drink. We were told our table was ready early and were asked would we like to be seated early which we did. I know the dinner is to be relaxing but the service was inattentive and slow. We had to ask twice to order cocktails for the entire table. The restaurant was not busy. The kitchen was very slow and it was midnight before we finished secondi. We decided not to order dessert due to the slow service. My friend from Italy tried to help move the service along but to no avail. The setting is certainly worthy of a Michelin 5 star but the service and food were not. My Italian friend and my girlfriend both sent their grilled Octopus back as it was tough. I had been looking forward to this dinner for weeks as a friend recommended the restaurant. I left extremely disappointed.

Only ate dinner here. The hotel itself is beautiful but was not impressed by the food or staff. Felt rushed and they were not very friendly. I had the fish of the day (sea bass) which was okay but I've had better seafood. Sunset view was incredible. Would recommend coming here for drinks at sunset and eat dinner someplace else.

The most incredibly stunning hotel in Sorrento, maybe anywhere! Yes, I know there are a lot of fabulous hotels in Sorrento, but the ambiance, class, beauty, and peacefulness ptouches my soul. And that view! I could live on the restaurant veranda by the sea! Or the patio. Just exquisite with the canaopy of lemon leaves, the marble inlaid floors, the statues, white tables - all designed to not compete or distract from the view! As the name implies, it's so very serene. Definitely on the high end so if your budget can't afford a week, spend two nights here. That's what I did before meeting friends for the remainder of my time in Sorrento. Since the next four days were full of touring different towns on the Amalfi coast, a boat ride to Capri and the Blue Grotto, and Pompei, I joined them at a different hotel that was more affordable since we basically were just sleeping and showering there. But for my first two days in Sorrento when I wanted to just chill and take in the beauty of this magnificent part of Italy, I chose Hotel Bellevue Syrene and I already want to come back!

Easily our best experience over a long lifetime of staying in hotels. The setting is spectacular & the building elegant. It is also unbelievably clean. The views from the lush outdoor patios were stunning with views of Vesuvius across the Bay of Naples. The staff was extremely helpful & considerate--Francesco and the others went out of their way to treat us like royalty. The food was excellent too, with the largest buffet of breakfast goodies I've seen. And the wine list is 54 pages long. I would give Bellevue Syrene 10 stars if I could.

Staff is rude. Female waitress = rude. Classist and classless was judged on our appearance and it left an unsavory taste in our mouths.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel and view are beautiful. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was awesome and free, definitely nothing like a hotel breakfast in the U.S. Had a fancy Christmas dinner that was good as well. Sorrento is an amazing area, and the Bellevue Syrene helped make the experience that much better.

Only ate here, didn't spend the night. Great staff and the ambiance is incredible. A view of Mount Vesuvius and the ocean, along with amazing food and drink.

Came here for a romantic dinner for my last night on my honeymoon with my husband and was very impressed! While staying in sorrento we kept noticing this beautiful restaurant from walking around town. Luckily we didn't just show up at night for dinner and went during the day to make a reservation in order to have a dinner experience there because they only had one table remaining for the night. I definitely recommend trying to book a time during sunset because you get to see the sun set over the water while looking at mount Vesuvius and enjoying a 5 star meal. The food was absolutely incredible and the wait staff does such a nice job at making you feel like a million bucks. The wine list is extensive! Take a look if that fancies you. I chose the sea bass for my dinner and my husband the lamb. Both came with complimentary pre and post courses. All of the ingredients were locally farmed from sorrento and it's surrounding areas which was special. I would 100% recommend this experience to couples who want to have a romantic dinner in the beautiful sorrento.

Review is for the bar- highly recommend for happy hour. We brought our kids no prob. They ordered milkshakes. The drinks are good and reasonably priced, the view of the ocean at sunset is immaculate, the service is great, and they bring you platters of nuts, chips and sandwiches gratis.

The views can't be beat. Make reservations. I would say it's a bit fancy. With that said the food was great. The lobster over potato purée was delightful. The pumpkin soup with local cheese mouse was decedent. I had the mixed pasta with potatoes and seafood. It was amazing. The portion looks small but remember there are all different kind of pasta and potatoes. My wife had the beef with mushroom sauce and truffle potato croquets. The beef was tender beyond belief but the little truffle potatoes stole the show. They have an extensive wine list and the staff was nothing but great.

My friends and I came here for a pre-dinner drink and we are so glad we did. For drinks, we were seated by a pool with stunning views of Mt. Vesuvius and the sea. The drink was reasonable at $10 Euros. Gorgeous place and great drinks!

Beautiful, quiet, quaint hotel right on the cliffs overlooking the water with stunning views of Mt. Vesuvius. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was relaxing sitting on the balcony watching the fisherman on the water below. I also enjoyed the walk down to the water through ancient Roman caves. We were given a ride to dinner on a golf cart which was also a nice touch.

Amazing!!! Sorrento will never be the same after this!! Ahh!! I'm a travel fiend but I also love great hotels! Great beautiful hotels. This ones over the top!!! Just everything! The location, the views, the prices!!! Over the top!!!! Bella vista! Insane views! The hotel restaurant itself was popular too. But the walkway into the hotel! Magic! Flowers hanging! Sea by the side! It's on the cliff ( most places here are). Getting here from the port down below is hard if you walk up! So much walking up! And climbing the tower/ Many stairs! Take the elevator: it's $1 and will save you 20 minutes or so. It's also right next to the central square and shops. But it's super quiet. The views!!! It's over the top expensive but it was also the best sleep I've had!! For $1200, the rooms are understated. And beautiful!! The service: well, it's Italy!!!! Always great :) Oh and they have their own private beach!!! Worth a visit or 10!!!!!!

Tried to have a nice enjoyable lunch! View is spectacular. However thy decided to have a pre wedding couple conduct their business meeting in the dining room with the hotel wedding planner! Ruined my lunch. I had to sit the whole time listening to a business meeting about foods and trying to sell the couple food ideas. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE for a supposed 5 star hotel! This kind of business should not be conducted in a dining room where people are eating and trying to enjoy the view. I should not have to listen to a formal meeting. There should be an office or conference room where this takes place???? Not in a lovely dining room where people are trying to enjo

This is an unbelievably beautiful hotel. Every corridor, lobby and stairs are decorated with thought. The place is also run very well. The service is something I have never experienced before. Also they serve drinks, alcoholic and expresso with some snacks free at their lounge all day long. Even at dinner they serve some sort of bubbly wine for free. The manager spoke to us warmly throughout our stay. I think all rooms have amazing views. You can see the Vesuvious from most rooms. They have their own private beach and the path to get their is adorable. If your Italy budget allows it, don't miss staying here. They also have a really good restaurant on site. We have tried dinner, lunch and of course the free breakfast and it's fabulous.

The view is absolutely amazing. The service was exceptional. We especially would like to call out Stefano for his assistance and warmth. They offer snacks and drinks all day in the lobby which is so inviting coming back from touring the area. They do have a few housekeeping issues. The area by the "lift" - elevator smells like mildew. The walkway to the beach dock needs improvemnet. There was nothing pleasing about getting out to the deck. It was no better than a public beach. The outside sitting area by the lobby has all kinds of flies because of the dumpsters behind the wall. The womans restrooms near the "lobby" reception area need to have the walls by the doorknobs cleaned.

The restaurant is surreal! It's very picturesque and looks amazing. The coffee (cafe latte) was okay, but the desert was AMAZING!!

The luxury 5-star hotel Bellevue Syrene, situated in Sorrento, has wonderful terraces overlooking the Gulf of Naples. It is an extremeley elegant facility dating back to 1820, which was a patrician home then turned into a private villa. The best hotel experience we have ever had. Staff remarkable. Views and rooms breath taking. Super clean. Wonderful breakfast spread. All other meals adequate which was fine. Perfect beach/swimming area. Nothing but the highest praise for this heaven on earth place.

Must go!!! The views are incredible of the water. There is an area for drinks below the dinner area and has wonderful drinks. A little expensive, but the views are way worth it.

Currently staying here and already planning when I can come back! We stayed in a Deluxe room with an amazing patio and a breathtaking view of the ocean. Their staff greets you as soon as you car pulls up and consistently caters to your every need. This hotel exceeded every expectation.

My fiance and I had dinner here. The view is absolutely stunning and beautiful. There is live pianist which adds more romance into the whole experience. The food here is absolutely amazing! We decided to do the full course at this place; we usually get full with pasta so we never end up getting an entree. We shared an appetizer and pasta dish with two entrees followed by two desserts. Every single food was delicious. The service here was also wonderful. They kept the bottle of white wine on ice and poured it for us every time one of our glasses was empty. There was no delay!! food, ambience, and service were all perfect. I am so glad we decided to go here for our last meal in Sorrento. Highly recommend!!

I ate here with my family for lunch one afternoon a few weeks ago. Hands down my best meal in a one week romp through Italy. Did not stay at the hotel but could easily have spent all day on the beautiful terrace having lunch and drinking a bottle of chilled white wine overlooking the bay. Simply an amazing setting with impeccable service. All our meals were fantastic and the staff paid particular attention to our kids with chocolate milk and a delicious pizza. If I ever get back to Sorrento I plan I stay here and eat at this place 3 times a day!

What a wonderful world. Today I swam in the sea with friends and had a marvelous time. Old wooden sailboats, majestic cliffs , a sun deck jutting out into the sea. The pastel palette mixed with old world charm and contemporary furnishings and finishings. In one word; spectacular!

So this is a great place to stay; the rooms are beautiful, the service is world class. Every question answered by staff. Relaxing beyond description, this is the prize property in Sorrento. They arranged a private boat ride for my wife and me to Capri with a great captain; arranged a private tour of Pompeii, Vesuvius with driver. Every employee treated me as if I was very important; food quality top notch. The view are breathtaking; location perfect. IT DOES NOT GET BETTER THAN THIS(only perfection gets 5 stars- driver late picking us up from train station)

I can't begin to explain how fabulous this hotel is!!! After a frustrating trip down to Sorrento from Rome, when we turned the street corner in the cab and had our first glimpse of the view from the hotel it literally took our breath away!!! Situated on the cliffside, the Bellvue Syrene is an upscale boutique hotel. We were greeted immediately and were brought into their hotel for some light snacks and drinks that are offered daily from 10-9!!!! After a few minutes wait (they had to make copies of our passports) we were ushered up to our rooms. Our rooms were decorated in all white with pops of color (blue) on the chairs and minimally decorated with fun, eclectic pieces. Our view overlooked the sea and Mt Vesuvius and again, just breathtaking. The staff couldn't be more pleasant, always willing to please! There is also a complimentary breakfast buffet daily- my husband was in heaven! Please put the Bellvue Syrene on your bucket list- you'll never regret it!!!!

I must say, this is one of the nicest hotels we stayed at during our trip through Italy. From the elegant ambience, to the view, to the friendly service, all were top notch. The hotel is beautifully appointed maintaining a striking balance between elegant yet casual for both business travelers and tourists. We were greeted by name at the gate entrance when our hotel-arranged taxi, dropped us off. We were given a tour of the lounge area and offered a glass of wine. There is no typical reception area and registration process, which adds an element of elegance as if you're visiting a large home rather than a hotel. The hotel offers a well appointed breakfast buffet (with the option of ordering your preferred egg dish from omelettes to poached to fried, etc), in addition, an executive club type service. This would include mini bites (including pop, drinks, coffee, wines, etc) throughout the day to evening appetizers with evening alcoholic beverage options (vodka, whisky, aperitifs, etc). The only con, is that they don't have much of a swimming pool or large enough private beach area, but they do have their own dock with sun chairs, umbrellas and towels as part of your stay. The hotel is also steps away from Marina Grande and the piazza. Overall, a beautiful hotel and would highly recommend it.

The ONLY place to stay in Sorrento!! Worth the pricey rate for stunning view, service beyond compare and all of the Italian charm you can ever imagine. Every day is an new hidden treasure @ this Bellevue Syrene. Easy walk to everything ... I promise nothing less than perfection. Mama Mia

5 stars for service, 5 stars for drinks, and 5 stars FOR THE VIEW!!! This place is awesome. The staff is incredibly friendly, quick, and efficient. All the things this American girl loves. We only had drinks on the terrace, but I am pretty set on going back for a meal. In fact, I will probably stay at this hotel on my next visit, as it seemed to be very nice.

Most amazing hotel!!! The staff, rooms, food and views were all absolutely perfect. The location is also very convenient to the main square and water taxi for day trips to Capri. It was very hard to leave this hotel, would never stay anywhere else in Sorrento.

Exceptional service and care for the customer. Enjoyed our stay of 8 nights. Great location, close to Sorrento's main circle. Just a short walk and you were there. Views are outstanding and the breakfast included was Molto Bene!!
