With over 20 years of experience in the Destination planning business, I have never experienced such a level of classless customer service in my life. My clients and I worked for over a year to bring this dream wedding to life and the staff at Bellevue Syrene were unprofessional with every aspect of the planning process. Their wedding planners, Angelo and Maria, never respected meeting schedules. They would not give timely responses to questions we had. When we got them on the phone, they would quickly hurry us off claiming that they had a wedding every day. Why did we move forward? Once the contract was signed, all these were unleashed on us.||||Please note that we also had events at the Hilton Sorrento Palace and worked with beautiful people like Giuseppe, Pepe, Salvatore and others who were professional for over a year with us. We had a great experience and all our guests are writing great reviews on them and Hilton. We worked with so many Italian suppliers such as Evo Yachts, Castellano, Persico Bus, Gaetano Foto, and more who were so beautiful to work with from the planning process to the very end. They were all respectful and kind.||||In the beginning, Angelo the planner gave us Caputo’s number to contact but he never did because of the language barrier. Angelo was aware of us reaching out to their resident supplier and never advised against it. For months, we asked Bellevue Syrene and Caputo for the quotation, but it was never provided to us. When we were down to 2 weeks to the event, their resident wedding planner, Angelo, gave us permission to source for an alternate supplier since we were not getting any response from theirs. After we found another supplier, their resident supplier came with a quote of 46 thousand euros, RIDICULOUS. The alternate sent us a quote of 10 though euros after theirs for the EXACT same equipment we needed because we compared both invoices. It was not brainer for us to go with the alternative.||||Two days before the wedding, they informed us that if we went ahead with the alternate, we would have to compensate their resident equipment supplier for a minimum of 2500 euros because he would have to move all his equipment out for the alternate. This was NEVER mentioned to us in order for my clients to make an informed decision. On the day of the wedding, Angelo's boss, Maria Matilde and her boss both told me and the groom that they would not let the wedding proceed if this fee was not paid. Imagine our shock and dismay. It got so heated, but they refused to budge in finding fault in what their wedding planner did. After some time, the groom offered to pay 1000 euros instead of 2500 euros in order to salvage his wedding. At first, they refused the 1000 euros and we willing to cancel the cave but later, When they realized that we looked defeated, they agreed to take it but not without the manager telling me to thank him for allowing the wedding to proceed. I was speechless. The penalty was applied to the final invoice which the client paid, we have all invoices and payment receipts to prove that it was not waived.||||During the wedding, they made all our guests walk down to the beach for the ceremony, claiming that they could not take the elevator. When some of our guests refused, they were yelled at. We have several guests that can attest to this.||||Please stay clear of this overpriced and classless venue. They are NOT offering 5-star quality in any way. Stay clear of Angelo, Maria Matilde and every single person connected with Bellevue Syrene, they do not value people, they do not value us and treat us well.
