Hotel Bellmoor Im Dammtorpalais

The worst hotel I’ve seen. An old inn with discarded furniture! The radiator walls hadn’t been cleaned in years. The bathroom was like a makeshift desert bath with no shampoo!

Nice looking (deluxe) room. However, the bed was very hard, and the duvets were short and heavy. I was awoken at 4 am by people speaking loudly. Friendly staff, but one of them were smoking indoors, thus making the whole floor stinking with his cigarettes. Utterly unacceptable!

When I booked this hotel and read the reviews, I was a little curious what to expect, until I realized that all the negative reviews are about the small rooms.|Stayed in a deluxe double room and had nothing to complain. Sure, it’s an old building - but that contributes to its charm. Not a big fan of carpet on the floor, but I guess that comes with the charm if an old building. Breakfast is served at the table and is more than sufficient according to western european standards.|So, don’t hesirate if your budget allows one of the bigger rooms.

A nice and friendly hotel with classic old rooms, a great breakfast, and in a nice location for the CCH or U Hamburg. The building hosts 6 different hotels on various floors which is a little odd when you first arrive, but you get a smaller and quaint experience within a larger building.

This is a really nice little hotel. Be aware that checking is at the 4th floor and they have half of the 3re floor. There are several hotels at the same address. Rooms are very neat and clean. The breakfast is very nice and prepared individually so always fresh. Be aware the breakfast on Sundays isn't until 8.00.

Basic, small sinle room but clean and comfortable.|Excellent city location.|Continental breakfast is served to the table. Choice is limited but then it is a very small hotel but it had everything to start the day.|Staff super helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

We will definitely stay again in this hotel! It's perfect if you need bed & breakfast and you want to be in town center! We had a double-bedroom and a room for three. All of us felt very comfy in our beds and both bathrooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly to us and courteous to some other guests who were rather exigent. The place has got character: Old-fashioned establishment and furnishing, the floor is creaking in the hallway but from the room you cannot here anything bothersome.

We spent one night at this hotel which is part of a group of hotels in an old palace. We came late at night and the concierge was waiting for us. The room ( for 3) was spacious and clean. Big enough bathroom with good shower pressure. The breakfast was served individually at the tables with a good bread quality and they even had gluten free choices of bread. The bus #5 stops a couple of meters away and it takes 10 minutes to the central station. We enjoyed our stay and would come back gladly.
