Great hotel in an even greater location. Location within steps of the ferry port, tram, and bus depot. The management staff and owner are friendly too and accommodating. The view from the semi-private terrace is amazing and I couldn't spend enough time sitting out there ans watching the boat and foot traffic. The smart tvs in the bedroom were an added bonus. We stayed two nights and I would definitely stay here on another trip to Capri.

I almost hate to review this hotel for fear everyone is going to want to find this little gem. It's not the newest hotel but it is very well maintained, the rooms are charming, the seaview is fabulous from really large balconies or the breakfast room. The staff go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay. It is on the marina an easy walk with bags and close to restaurants and the funicular. Breakfast is very nice with many items made fresh. Wonderful cappuccinos. Our two night stay was so reasonably priced it's hard not to really like this place.

The property is advertised as a 2 star, but the only 2 star thing about it was the reasonable price. The view, staff and location are all 5 star. We were 2 couples who were in rooms 309 and 310. Our rooms had enormous balconies with view of marina to the right, view of beach to the left, and view of the stunning Bay of Naples straight ahead. We were warmly welcomed by Francessco, and all his suggestions for what to do and where to eat were spot on. He also organized a private boat tour around the island which was fantastic. Geraldo made delicious cappacionos and breakfasts each morning. The decor is simple, but clean and comfortable. The hotel was an easy 5 minute walk to the ferry, the funicular and buses and ferries. After touring the entire island, we are convinced the Hotel Belvedere was a hole in one !

Such a great location, close to all the harbor shops and marina. Great hotel with breakfast, the owners are friendly and professional. We stayed three days here. It's cheaper if you contact the hotel directly. The restaurants in the harbor are good spots to eat, there is a scooter rental right next to Hotel. TAXIS, AND BUSES 100 FT from hotel, and you are right at the beach and bar below the hotel. Perfect in every way. The beds are comfortable, however no elevator, so you do have the stairs, pack accordingly. IF you arrive before check-in they will house your luggage for you. We check out at 11 am and left our luggage with them for the day. There is a bathroom .50 cent and shower 5.00 euro in the harbor area with Attendant that keeps it clean. So, if you need a shower after you check out and before the ferry arrives, it's a great spot.

We stayed for one week and each day was enchanting. We had a huge balcony/terrace from which we viewed the entire Marina Grande. The hosts were excellent and so very attentive. They quickly learned who is drinking what type of coffee or eating what type of food. The hosts guided us in our hikes and visits as well. As we used to travel the world it is the first time that we feel that we were in somebody's home and not in a hotel. We will definitely come back to them!

Spent 4 days in Capri celebrating a special birthday.|Looked after by all the staff at the hotel from start to finish.|We arrived early on our 1st day & even though we couldn't check in, we were allowed to relax in the breakfast room with coffee & croissants courtesy of Gerrardo.....an absolute gentlemen throughout our stay. He spoke limited English however catered our every need, including a Champagne breakfast and birthday cake.|Reception staff were excellent, providing recommendations & information of the island.|Room was lovely and very clean. Had a balcony room with a sea view & exceptional large terrace.....great spot to wind down, have a drink and observe the multi million dollar yachts coming and going.|Thank you for making this a special occasion.

Like most places in Capri this is a family run establishment. We were welcomed into a very large room with a wonderfully large balcony which looked right out onto the sea and down to the Marina Grande. The room like most in Italy is mainly tiled and old fashioned furniture but I found it perfect for our needs. The shower was ok and bathroom clean and plenty of fresh towels provided everyday. The breakfast was lots of pastries and bread served fresh from the kitchen and there were some yoghurts and fruit along with the usual meats and cheese. Each morning though a special additional breakfast was added, sometimes scrambled egg or a special smoothie or their own version of sausage rolls which was a lovely touch! The breakfast waiter only speaks Italian but we managed to understand him and found his a credit to this little hotel. It’s not a posh 5 star but it doesn’t need to be we found it charming and perfect for a stay in Capri

Yelp
4.4 Overall best hotel of this 10 day Italian trip. Quite affordable in early season (unlike most else in Capri), and received upgrade to breezy beautiful balcony that overlooks sea, marina to right (very easy walk from pier everyone arrives at) and it's road. Enjoy the waves on the hidden beach below. On 2nd floor Road walkers can see your top half if prancing around after shower. The vehicles can be noisy, yet they have powered shutters that can block out much of the noise. Leave key at front desk is strange, but so was no city tax to pay at exit for a change. They were gracious enough to start breakfast an half hour early, for us to catch our boat away. Bed had thin foam top I think, still straight and firm underneath, so best of trip so far, and pretty much all travels. Pillow, eh, have travel pillow to help anyway. No fridge :( Shower alright. Can easily lift arms, manage to pick up dropped soap without major yoga move, and will get you clean.
