“Garni hotel Beograd” in Negotin, Serbia||It is a small hotel situated in the centre of the city, just at the beginning of the pedestrian zone. They say that it is 125 years old but it has been renovated recently. The building has only one floor and the rooms are on the first floor. There is a nice café in the basement. Rooms are well furnished with the new and classy furniture. Rooms have a cable TV with a lot of international channels, mini bar and the air conditioner. Everything is clean and shiny. The staff is very helpful. ||||There were two problems, however. At 8pm live music started, just below my window, and ended at 1am. Although the music was pleasant (accordionist and the singer), I could not sleep until they stopped. Maybe other rooms were not exposed to the noise as mine was. Having in mind that the hotel occupies the building at the corner, maybe the other side is not so noisy. Next morning when I complained to the receptionist he said that it was just a group of café guests who celebrated something.||||The other problem is parking. Being in the very center, hotel has a very restricted parking area. ||||As a “Garni” hotel they offer only breakfast with rather restricted choice of food.
