Hotel Berg

Newly renovated hotel is absolutely has to get on your radar when it is early morning flight, just about 3 miles from airport. Hot tube with a great view on the dumb is great. Service is adequate, free parking as well. Great choice. Highly recommended!

The last day before we flight to home. We stay in Berg for 1 night. It was so lovely hotel with warmly welcome from staff. The room is clean, nice and comfortable. They have a hot tub in second floor with city view. Me and my husband really enjoyed shower there. We tried to have a light dinner with started dishes. It was so delicious 😋. We believe that the mains course must be very good also. We hope will taste next time. The hotel has suttle bus to airport so you can ask the reception. The location is quiet, up in the hill and quite close to center and right in harbour.

A great hotel to start or finish your visit to Iceland. Friendly, accommodating staff and reasonably-priced. We got a great deal just by turning up, better than any online price. Family loft apartments are very nicely done, and the whole hotel is clean, simple and pleasantly quiet considering how close it is to the airport. Good breakfast and a nice hot tub to enjoy the sunset!

One of my best hotel stays ever! Amazing staff made us coffee upon check-in and gave us recommendations. The room was gorgeous and clean. The rooftop pool could've been hotter, but was so relaxing and scenic. What an amazing stay, especially considering the low price!

Paper thin walls, terrible nights sleep. Proximity to airport is only main benefit. Stylish but tired, electrical outlets in room didn’t work. Staff were fairly unsympathetic when we reported very noisy room next door. Breakfast was great, lady running the breakfast buffet is an asset to the hotel, very friendly and helpful.

Had a fantastic night at Hotel Berg! I flew in the night before the rest of my group and wanted to stay close to the airport. The staff here is a highlight as they seem to have plucked the best of iceland. Somehow, with the close proximity, the airport Hotel Berg feels surrounded by nature. Don't leave before taking a nice soak in the heated rooftop pool where you might have northern lights dancing above you if you get lucky. And if you're really lucky, you will also get to meet their dog Bruno, who is like the mascot of the Hotel and a very good boy. 10/10

Ideal hotel for late airport arrival, easy access to Reykjavik (45 minutes by car) great location by harbor. Excellent bed and very quiet room. Small comfotable intimate lounge. Great breakfast, extra charge, including delicious breads. Would be a good base for several days of touring in the area.

Hotel Berg is a great place to stay if you have a long layover at KEF. The rooms are pretty clean, it’s within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and things to see, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The pool on the roof is a great way to see the northern lights and is spacious. The room was a bit dirty and the door to the outside porch didn’t lock (the lock would only engage about 1/4 inch, so you could still open the door). There were quite a few spiders and other insects (maybe because we were on the first floor?). Overall a pretty good experience
