the best hotel ever! beautifull room, wonderfull food, great pools, very interesting kids playroom, but above all very friendly, welcoming staff. our kids have absolultly loved johann in restaurant. we recommend this hotel for everyone: families with kids but also couples. we hope we will come back

We were really looking forward to this hotel, especially since we had traveled all the way from Canada and were expecting a truly luxurious five-star experience. Unfortunately, the reality did not meet our expectations. One of the biggest disappointments was dinner - waiting two hours for the main course in a hotel of this category is simply unacceptable. We understand that restaurants can be busy, but at this price level we would have expected more efficient service and better organisation. Another unpleasant surprise was the charge for a simple cup of coffee in the room, even though we paid 600 euros for the night. In hotels of this category, such a service is usually a matter of course, so we were surprised by this. We are sorry that our stay was not as pleasant as we had hoped. We believe that the hotel will consider some improvements so that future guests will have a better experience. However, at this time, based on our experience, we cannot make a recommendation.

Family-owned and run alpine resort hotel. Extensively upgraded and renovated, with hands-on family members keeping a personal eye on every aspect and detail of the operation. Lovely stay, comfortable rooms, very good standard F&B, and something to repeat again when the occasion arises.

One off the best resorts in the area .||Good location , well organized facilities for skiers , very clean and super rooms .||Private car indoor parking friendly staff. ||Buffet - a la carte Restaurant well decorated with all day menu es selections although menu options should be improved .||Spa areas good enough but closing time at 20 : 00 is early especially when the hotel is full .

Our stay here has almost spanned ten days (we leave in two days). We don’t see snow in Western Australia so our mouths were wide open at the abundance of snow and arriving on 6 December, it was beginning to feel a lot like Christmas 🎄 |We were collected from the train station by France who was super friendly and give us some local advice. This family ran hotel is superb! Every inch of the hotel is so well thought out and in all honesty, if we were not skiing each day, the hotel alone would offer so much to do. We felt guilty leaving this beautiful place to hit the piste. |The staff are all super helpful. No request is too much. So sorry for not remembering all of the names but just a few to mention here: Hannah, Anna, Alexis, Bianca, Johann, Isobela, Patrick, Jonathan, Doriana (sorry if misspelt) and the driver who give us our complimentary trip to the slopes each day! 😊|During our stay we have only had very minor feedback to give directly to the hotel. Nothing to spoil the stay but very minor detail that may put the icing on the cake for some staying guests. It does not reduce the five star review hence our feedback will be directly to hotel and not on here as it may not impact most and would be unfair given the efforts they go to, to make this place as close to perfection as possible. |Our 11 and 12 year old said “this place feels like we have landed in heaven.” We have previously stayed in fabulous places so our standards are very high. The Bergfried hotel has met and exceeded our expectations. Some guests were on their eighth stay. That is testament to the standards of this hotel. |There is so much we could say about this place but we loved the surprise element of discovering all this hotel had to offer and would hate to take that away from any future guests. |Thank you for our wonderful and memorable stay so far. We are not looking forward to checking out 😢

Absolutely amazing hotel in a beautiful location, great spa and incredible cuisine. We stayed for 4 days and only hope to be back soon!

Great place to be! We spend here 4 Days and had a great time! The Hotel offers a large Welness and Pool Area that enables having wonderful days even if there is bad weather. The Location an Hotel Shuttles allow easily to discover the wonderful near landscape and the glacier. Food was amazing all over the Day from Breakfast to Dinner always tasty and from high quality. Outstanding was the service even from the owners as well as from staff both are friendly and professional working hand in hand with a good mood and relationship next to each other. Remarkable was our Wine tasting guided by Johan the hotels Somelier, he has shown us a various range of tasty wine with great backround information.

Excellent family at the hotel, which give excellent service in the hotel. The spa is great with a good sky pool. The food is excellent too and everyone is super friendly. We celebrated wedding anniversary of our parents and birthday and the staff prepared surprise for us. The hotel organise great hike activities. We participated in Sun rise hike and got tea and food at the top from our tour guide. We are recommending it a lot. We are coming to this hotel repeatedly.
