"One of Heidelberg’s trendiest hotels, this boutique property borders the Alten Hallenbad, a former public pool that now serves as a gourmet food court. Its rooms are smart and minimal, done up in neutral but welcoming tones with splashes of purple throughout. All feature high-quality linens, floor-to-ceiling windows, and spacious bathrooms, while top-floor rooms include small terraces; one suite even has a built-in sauna. Public areas range from a rooftop garden with views of the castle, to a café that serves a buffet breakfast each morning."

I stayed for 2 nights for a conference during a heat wave so my review will reflect that somewhat. The service was fantastic. The front desk staff were incredibly patient and kind. I gave the room 4/5 stars because I feel like the AC unit could have cooled more. Although, this seems to be a general problem with AC in all German hotels. It made it difficult to sleep well and be refreshed for the next day. I gave service 4/5 stars because of the breakfast. For nearly 20 euro, we were offered a very meager selection of options. I was so disappointed with the breakfast that I canceled it for the rest of my stay. There's a bakery next door that offers great options for a lot less money. The location is great. You can walk to the old city center where you'll have options for food etc. The "Körperwelt" museum is directly next door. You can take the tram directly in front of the hotel but Uber is also quite reasonably priced. All in all, a good stay with a comfortable and clean room! Thank you so much.

Great little hotel with friendly staff. Only stayed for one night. Have nothing bad to say about the hotel

We had an amazing room on the top floor with a wraparound terrace and a sauna! Overall it was a great stay, and it's a short walk to the old town. We did have an issue with the air conditioning one night though. The air conditioning for the entire building was not working, but no one let us know, so we spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out why the room wouldn't cool down, and it was a fairly hot night. But I would definitely come back to this hotel if I were to visit Heidelberg again!

The room was very nicely decorated, full with sunlight, modern, and perfectly clean. Internet signal was strong and flawless. Staff was very helpful and attentive to all my needs. The location is also excellent, it is midway between the train station and the city center, for my stay in Heidelberg just perfect.

Far exceeded my expectations! This hotel was a quick pick after realising how hot it was going to be in Heidelberg - having originally booked in Old Town. I wanted air conditioning... We got that, and so much more. I thought we would be out of the action here, that was not the case at all. There is so much on the door step. A museum within the building, Aldi out the back door, as well as many cafe's/restaurants, a green park, trams out the front. It is walkable (10 mins) from the station. And the same to Old Town. The rooms are clean, modern, bright, spacious, and importantly the bed is super comfy, with a great shower. The rooms are also sound proof and able to be darkened for sleeping. The lovely little cafe on the ground floor is a wonderful addition. We did not have the breakfast, but did have other food and coffee. The breakfast certainly looks adequate. It is so hard when choosing, trying to navigate location, amenities etc. In hindsight, I would never have booked in Old Town, I would have chosen here. Honestly, don't second guess this hotel.

I had a wonderful experience at Bergheim 41. I called ArtHotel looking for a room for that night and they were booked, however the man on the phone was nice enough to suggest I call their sister hotel, the 41. I jumped online and quickly booked a room as it was already getting late and I needed a place to stay when I arrived in Heidelberg that night. This hotel is a boutique hotel - chic, modern and clean. The staff at the front desk is helpful and I found the parking ramp very convenient with great signage pointing you in and out of the ramp. The hotel is conveniently located - the bridge and cable car to the castle were directly down the street, about a 1.2 mile (1.9km) walk through the shopping district. There are lots of great food options right on the same block as the hotel. The room itself was very clean, had crisp linens and the bathroom was very nice. The air conditioning worked very well, which I was grateful for as the temps were 85 degrees (29.5 celsius) during my visit. The room I had on the first floor did not have a great view as I faced the back of the building, however I was fine with it as I didn't spend a lot of time in the room and it was dead silent. I was shocked as to how quiet it was, since the hotel is right downtown. Also, there are great shades and curtains so the room is totally blacked out for great sleep. I was traveling solo and I felt VERY safe here. You need your key card to enter the hotel elevator/stairwell and you need a parking key fob to enter the ramp. I got a couple of coffees at their cafe and those were very good, plus the young woman helping me was very nice and spoke english very well which I appreciated. I ended up staying two nights because I had such a great experience at this hotel. I highly recommend!

Really enjoyed staying here, everything is clean and reception desk staff very friendly and helpful. The lobby area is small but there’s a coffee shop right next to it, their vanilla chai coffee was sooooo delicious!! I highly recommend solo travelers booking this hotel :)

Modern room, that was more like an apartment. Impeccably clean bathroom and views of Bergheimer Straße. The latter is a drawback, and it was quite noisy in the morning and late in the evening due to the number of tram cars running nearby. This property is perfectly situated near Hauptstraße, with numerous restaurants, bakeries, gelato shops, and other services within walking distance. It also offers an in-house coffee shop and breakfast room, which I did not use since they did not open until 7:00 a.m. There is also superb Wi-Fi throughout the property, as well as private parking for an additional cost. Overall, it was a terrific visit, and I will definitely return. 🎯 AP Score: Best Location 👨‍🍳 Instagram 👉🏽 @ChefSecreto
