Hotel Berghof

The best ski trip we've ever had, the location couldn't have been better. The staff at every touch point were exceptional; the owner is very present and approachable. The food was beautiful. The spa was gorgeous. I cannot recommend this place enough. We can't wait to return, it raises the bar. Just a tip for future visitors: this is not the place for your slovenly apres comfties for dinner or going down to breakfast in your baselayers. Sartorial elegance throughout and it just adds to the magic.

I was so comfortable at Hotel Berghof, even when it was pouring rain outside. I loved the attention to detail everywhere - my room with a view, meals (dinner I expected to be great, but breakfast was a culinary delight too), the cozy lounge and cocktails, and flexible and warm staff. They even cleaned my muddy boots. Highly recommend!

We feel honored to have been part of the famous garden party. The organization at the hotel was, as always, flawless. The food was of exceptional quality, and the breakfast buffet with its homemade bread specialties was the perfect start to an active day in the beautiful Arlberg region. Isabell and Stefan Burger are perfect hosts, who treated us with such warmth that we returned to everyday life refreshed after a few wonderful days. Many thanks to the entire Berghof team for an unforgettable stay.

We have visited the Berghof Hotel many times in the last few years. On each occasion there have been improvements and this was indeed the case this year. The bedrooms are very comfortable and kept spotless. The changes in the decor and arrangements for breakfast improved matters. Food is of the highest quality and the wine is good value. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally sited away from the bustle of the Main Street and yet a short distance to the ski lifts. We hope to return.

Der Berghof is an excellent hotel in Lech and one we would highly recommend. We were in room 115 and found the accommodations to be very comfortable for our family of four with two young children. Very thoughtful use of space with tons of storage, which is key for a ski trip. Room had impressive mountain views and a sizable balcony area. The hotel is built very well and sound is not an issue at all.||||Location is great, and the elevator to town is a great feature. From your room to the main street it only takes one to two minutes.||||Kids ski school pick up and drop off is literally outside the hotel, so you couldn’t ask for more convenience.||||Ski storage room is very nice with heated boot racks.||||The spa definitely exceeded my expectations, despite not having a pool. Several saunas, a wonderful steam room, a cold plunge, and various other options that are typically only found in five star resorts. My wife and I received several massage treatments and they were fabulous.||||Very good food. Lots of options to make everyone happy, nice preparation and presentation, and clearly quality ingredients. Half board makes the experience very easy.||||Everyone at the hotel is incredibly pleasant and competent. The gals at the front desk are so kind and helpful. Lin (restaurant manager) and Pascale (sommelier) were notably exceptional. My only minor constructive observation is that there were several occasions where no one was at the front desk, the bar, or the spa. The team was always hustling to help guests, but it felt like they were slightly understaffed at the time.||||The hotel arranged for car services, lift tickets and quickly accommodated numerous requests.||||I would say this is very very close to being a five star resort. It is absolutely exceptional for a four star. We will certainly look to return.||||Show less

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic—by far the best ski hotel we've stayed in throughout the Alps! The food was outstanding, and the fondue evening was a highlight. It was so much fun to try the broth afterward like a soup—such a unique touch! Jessie, who catered to us, went above and beyond, offering incredible care and attention to every detail. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful little details, like the creative way the kiwi and passion fruit were cut to stand firmly, or the ingenious pins with room numbers attached to the housecoats—such a simple, but effective way to keep things organized! The spa and relaxation facilities were a true highlight. The variety of saunas and showering options offered was fantastic, and the cold plunge bath was a refreshing addition to the experience. We absolutely loved this hotel and wish we could bring it along on all our future ski trips. We can’t wait for our next visit—many thanks to the entire team for making our stay so special!

We had a great week at this wonderful hotel! All the staff were very welcoming. Our room ( Omeshorn) was spacious & very comfortable with a lovely welcome gift. The food ( half board) was outstanding...varied menu every day and substantial breakfast. Cocktails at the bar were expertly prepared & a real treat. The lift down to the town was a real asset & much appreciated. We have stayed many, many times in Lech but never at The Berghof. We won't stay anywhere else now :) Only one niggle was the shower setup over the bath was not ideal for a couple in their 60's.
