After reading many reviews about hotels in Venice, I was expecting a small room with outdated amenities. To my surprise, we were given a beautiful and spacious room with a fantastic view from the window. It was quiet, impeccably clean, and very cozy. A special thanks to the hotel management — their attention and hospitality were truly 10 out of 10. The hotel’s location is also excellent. Highly recommended!

We came to Italy for our honeymoon and booked 4 nights with this hotel. While booking, we specify that we want a double bed and not the twin beds because we will be on our honeymoon and to our surprise, we got a bottle of Prosecco with this note in our room when we checked in. They also offered us free breakfast every day during our stay (they said they do this for birthdays as well). The staffs are incredibly kind and helpful. The location is also really good, very central with shops and restaurants everywhere. Not far from the boat stops either. The room was clean, cozy and cute. Would 100% recommend this place. You can book directly with them instead of booking through other websites!

Exactly as advertised. Clean, amazing location, and friendly staff! Best of all, the AC works, unlike some other major hotels in Venice. If you have a small group, must try.

My son and his fiancée booked this property for us as a gift for my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary combined. We had a very warm welcome from the staff and there were special treats in the form of gifts laid on for our occasion by the hotel .All the staff we met were amazing and extremely helpful the accommodation is traditional and spotlessly clean .We had a 3 night stay and the towels were changed regularly. The location is ideal with plenty of shops and eateries literally just around the corner .It is also very close to the grand canal and all other attractions.Booking .com rate this hotel as 2 star personally I've stayed in 4 star previous which have not been a patch on this for service /cleanliness the breakfast is very good and nothing is too much trouble for the staff ...I cannot recommend this property enough and would definitely stay again 😊😊😊

Never in my life we had found a nicer hotel. Venice hotels are usually old, smelly and with very tiny rooms.|We booked to stay at Bernardo's but we were checked into their sister hotel few minutes away. I assume just because we were four people and they gave us a huge room.|I must say I was very impressed with the building itself, the stairs, the room, the furniture, the doors.. really not even the pictures do justice.|It is a must book when in Venice. Will never book any other hotel again.|Soo clean and amazing quality in decorations.|Reception staff soo nice and helpful and also the housekeeping ladies.|Cannot fault anything to be honest. Excellent all the way.|Thank you!

Can't beat location. Room photos online misleading. Our room was an unadorned, no frill dorm with no view. Disappointing for price - but air conditioning works well; bathroom clean and functional. Housekeeping enters room unannounced...one housekeeper walked in on me naked in our bathroom at 8:30 a.m. No "do not disturb" signs provided. Hotel staff pleasant enough, for most part. Hotel itself unremarkable, didn't add any enjoyment to our trip, but didn't detract either. Again, location is perfect. Centrally located, in far end of the quiet and beautiful Cannaregio neighborhood.

My wife and I were visiting Venice for the first time. We stayed at this lovely place for 2 nights. The hotel, although rated 2 stars it certainly offers more than that. It is centrally located, very clean and safe. The staff was professional and amazingly helpful. I will definitely check in again next time I will be in Venice.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in one of the quadruple rooms in the annex building. ||The room - The room was large and comfortable (Queen bed + 2 singles) and had a nice bathroom stocked with plenty of towels. The a/c worked well and provided much needed relief from the sweltering Venetian summer sun. The room was impeccably clean. Wifi reception was good.||Location- The hotel is off the beaten path a bit which is nice because it is quiet, but also very near public transport. The annex building is located around the corner, down a quiet side street just a few steps from nice shops and restaurants. ||Breakfast- We were offered croissants and prosciutto cotto as well as yogurt, juice, cappuccino and cereals. Definitely a filling breakfast to start the day. The attendant at breakfast is very helpful and goes out of the way to make sure that you are satisfied with breakfast.||Tip - The hotel does offer to store your luggage if you are departing Venice later in the day. Just be aware that the luggage is left in the lobby area. We weren’t too concerned because the front desk was also right there. ||This was our 2nd stay at this lovely hotel and will definitely stay again if we are fortunate to visit Venice again.

Yelp
If you want a central location, hot shower with good pressure and good continental coffee in the am, this is your place. If you never want to sleep again on rock hard beds, hear every crink and every breath your neighbours make next door - like myself, you're not gonna wana stay here. We instead got a full screaming match next door, they might as well have been in the room with us could've been more entertaining that way. And apparently, next time, I just need to walk down the three flight of stairs (no phones in the room) to complain as if this is my fault- that's my response to waking up at 6:50am to some woman's LOUD phone conversation. I've slept in some old cranky places before, this place wins best for the thinnest walls and worst mattress ever. Spend more and go else where.

Yelp
This Europe trip has been over a year in the planning, so I can't remember how I found this particular hotel -- I think it may have been mentioned in a Rick Steves guidebook. I'd originally looked for us to stay on the mainland, since the prices on Venice were so expensive, but the price here was extremely reasonable and it saved us having to travel back and forth from Mestre each day. The staff was very responsive to my emails, and easily filled my odd request of a single room for one night and a triple room for one night (due to one member of our traveling party arriving earlier than the rest of us). The hotel is located in a little alleyway not far from the Rialto bridge (we took Alilaguna from the airport). It is a little tricky to find, but there is a sign for the hotel in the main square. The staff was great at getting us checked in -- one of my sisters had arrived the day earlier, and they were happy to hold her luggage until her room was ready, and also to move it the next day to the triple room while she was out running around trying to figure out where to meet us. Our triple room was in the main hotel, and had three twin beds, a sink, an armoire, a desk, and two nightstands all in a good sized, light, airy room. It was a bit noisy with the windows open at night, but it's Venice! The shared bathroom was just down the hall. The shower room was a bit cramped; there was a plastic chair to put your towel and clothes, but the shower curtain was too short for the stall, so the floor got pretty wet and there was no point in trying to use a bathmat. Breakfast in the morning was a continental spread of croissants, breakfast breads and cakes, canned and fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, and coffees -- quite adequate to keep you going for a long day of walking and sightseeing. The staff held our luggage for us after we checked out, which allowed us to sightsee without having to lug around backpacks; they were also very accommodating as we stopped in throughout the day to use the restroom and wi-fi. The price for the single room was €35, and the price for the triple room was €82, easily making this one of the best values in hotels for our entire trip.

Yelp
First Yelp review! I stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights a few weeks ago while some friends and I were in Venice. We actually stayed in the Annex Hotel, which is a block or so away. The room we were in was huge, and they had 3 beds waiting for us. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I initially booked this hotel (in all honesty, I misconstrued it as a hostel in my mind, so I was pleasantly surprised by our accommodations). The staff was super nice and welcoming They gave us a very detailed map of Venice that we used in our explorations. There was a free breakfast buffet as well, which consisted of the standard Italian breakfast (bread and pastries, plus coffee). The location is pretty ideal. It's about 5 minutes away from the water taxi stop, plus within walking distance of Rialto (but then again, what isn't within walking distance in Venice). If I ever come back to Venice, I would definitely not mind staying here again!

Yelp
Amazing woman on the reception desk speaking a lot of languages. Happy we've found this hotel in the narrow steet. They have actually two buildings - one is the hotel Bernardi Semenzato, the second one is Leonardi. We came just to ask if they have a room for one night and they offered us accomodation in both buildings. One room with shared bathroom for €54 and another in Leonardi with private bathroom for special price €70 (normaly €110), with amazin view. We have chosen the more expensive and we were like in heaven. Nice location, near to San Marco, clean, great service. Van jist recommend it!
