Hotel Bernerhof Interlaken

This is a wonderful hotel in a wonderful location of Interlaken. It is on the main downtown area and just in front of Interlaken West train station. Our room was for a family of three and it was quite spacious and very clean. The view of the mountains from the balcony was excellent. They have a wonderful breakfast! Would like to give a special shout out to Doreen at the front desk! She was a gracious host and helped us with lot of good suggestions while exploring Interlaken and the surrounding areas. She made our stay much more memorable!!!!

We arrived early for check in and Jerome could not have been more accommodating. Not only did he check us in, he explained the attractions around Interlaken, how to get anywhere and helped us get where we needed to go! Time explaining was not an issue and Jerome was extremely knowledgeable in everything in the area. He suggested places to go and how long it would take to get there. The hotel is right next to the bus and train stations and right next to shops, restaurants and a supermarket. The rooms are clean and comfortable with an amazing view. Breakfast provides a great variety of options from eggs to fruit to cereal. There are some great statues throughout the hotel and a restaurant and bar right at the front door. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Interlaken! All staff have been very lovely! If I had to fault anything… the lift is quite small - 2 bags and 2 people will fill it!

What a welcoming hotel. They gave us a full run down of the local attractions with discounts vouchers on some of them then a simple map of recommended restaurants categorized. Hotel was very comfortable with aircon and views were amazing

Excellent locations. Rooms had amenities and nice view (no conditioner in the bathroom but comes with shampoo). Breakfast buffet was well-stocked. Front desk staff was very helpful and nice!

Best stay in Interlaken, location is at walkable distance from railway station. Rooms were neat and clean. Location of the hotel is calm and not much crowded. There are shopping places opposite hotel. Staffs were very polite and treated us very nicely. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a most wonderful hotel in my entire Europe trip recently. It is located in a prime location with amenities. Everything is excellent, spacious room with a balcony and beautiful view, kettle to boil water for your convenience. Wait, you don't even need to boil water to make coffee, as coffee dispenser to provide free flow at the lobby is just marvellous 😀 Train station, bus stops, supermarkets, many shops, and restaurants around are so convenient. If you are looking for a great morning breakfast, look no more, this hotel provides superb breakfast ... guaranteed eat to your satisfaction in my opinion ... no limitation to an egg only or you find them "hiding" food from you. You will be treated as honoured guest and not be look down ... and worse if being bullied or get scolded even if you are their guest. Asked for assistance, no worries, just ask and they can try their utmost effort to please. A very nice place in fact, which I can go out at 5am for a morning exercise routine to a nearby beautiful park or just the beautiful surroundings to explore. I have enquired on how to get in touch with them and the boss readily passed a card with all the details ... "emailed me anytime" he said with trusting words. He gave me his name , but unfortunately I couldn't recall. Kenny? Nevertheless, it is a pleasure staying at this wonderful hotel. I LOVE IT ❤️ 😍 THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCELLENT HOSPITALITY

We stayed at hotel Bernerhoff for 2 nights in June. The location is great and the view of Jungfrau from the balcony is awesome. The room is reasonable in size and clean. Beds are comfortable. The buffet breakfast has good choices and it's a luxury to eat breakfast with nice views. Sylvano (and another lady) at reception was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, everything was explained clearly. I really felt the hospitality from them! I arrived early and left my luggage at the front desk, and when I returned later in the day, they had put my luggage in the room I was given! This level of service has exceeded my expectations. The location of the hotel is great, being just next to the Interlaken West station. Note that trains to Jungfrau region leave from Interlaken Ost, one stop up the line. If you're in a hurry to get there (e.g. to catch a train departing from Ost), it takes 20 minutes to walk there unless you happen to be on time for a bus departure. The rooms are modern and clean, there are even USB chargers (both A and C type ports) included in the wall sockets! I didn't even need to take out my wall charger. The soundproofing is a bit poor however, just hope your neighbours aren't early risers. The view from my room was good, a view of the town and the local mountains. Of note is that the cup provided in the room is a paper one, but you should be able to get more downstairs at the coffee machine in the lobby, provided to guests for free. Breakfast is included, there is some hot foods available like sausages and eggs, in addition to bread, cereal, fruits and coffee. City tax is paid at the end of your visit. For staying at a hotel in the region you get a bunch of freebies like free travel on public transport in the region, a discount coupon for souvenirs at selected shops, and more. I was only staying for one night but I would definitely come back here if I was in the region again.
