Hotel Bernerhof Interlaken

Amazing hotel, nothing bad to say at all! All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was ready early so we were able to check in as soon as we arrived! The room was perfect; very clean and modern, comfortable bed, good amenities and facilities. The view from our balcony was amazing. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and a good way to start the day. Free coffee machine in the main lobby was a nice touch. Location was perfect, just outside Interlaken West station and shops and restaurants all very close. Thank you for a perfect stay!

A very nice hotel right in the center of Interlaken. I spent 3 weeks for attending a course. Great Thanks to all the staff of the hotel BERNERHOF. The rooms are very new and very clean. I stayed for 3 weeks and everyday was perfect. All the staff is so friendly and nice. As located direct in the city center and to the train station, you can stay here and get everywhere you want in the area.

Very near to the interlaken Ost railway station and bus stop. Beautiful rooms, very near to ferry point, exotic spread of breakfast, spacious rooms. Your view from balcony is mind blowing. Best hotel in budget

While the exterior looks a bit dated, the rooms are comfortable, clean, and surprisingly spacious for a three-star hotel. We loved that it came with a balcony with beautiful views of the town and mountains, and the many windows that opened for fresh air. The shower had great water pressure, and the receptionist was incredibly kind — he even prepared breakfast for us the night before our early flight, which we really appreciated. There’s also an espresso machine in the lobby available at any time and a rooftop with stunning views. The location couldn’t be better — just steps from the Interlaken West train station and shops and restaurants.

We stayed here in July 2025 and we had a great experience. The check in was very informational and gave us tips on the weather. Our room was very clean, spacious and nicely designed (room for 3). We also had a great balcony view that we weren't expecting. We got breakfast and they had a large spread of many different options, also with a nice view of the landscapes. The best part of this hotel was the location! Only a 2 min walk from Interlaken West and the bus station. We got free bus cards from the hotel to take the bus anywhere and it was pretty manageable to navigate. The lakes nearby were beautiful and so many restaurants, shops, etc within walking distance. Would highly recommend this to a friend!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised by how spotless the room was. We stayed for two nights, and the receptionist guy was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and even shared great recommendations on places to visit. Although the breakfast isn’t Halal, as Muslim travellers we still enjoyed it because the hotel offers a good range of cereals, granola, spreads and breads — more than enough for us. And the cappuccino was so good that we ended up having two cups each every morning! The hotel is just a stone’s throw away from Interlaken West train station. Despite being close to shops, it was very quiet inside unless we opened the balcony door. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for all travellers!

Very nice clean room but very expensive compared to other places we stayed in Switzerland. Our room was supposed to have a/c but we could not figure it out. We had to crack our window to sleep. The noise from the restaurant downstairs kept us up late every night. I’d recommend getting a room in the back away from the street noise. This hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance from the Interlaken West train station. Very nice breakfast with a good selection. Front desk staff were wonderful with directions and suggestions.||The hotel makes a point of telling guests they are not affiliated with the restaurant downstairs. I am grateful that I read the reviews before we ate there. Reviews are awful. We opted for Husi Bierhaus, an easy 10 minute walk.

All hotel staff that I met were extremely friendly. Room was clean, windows opened to give fresh and cool air to the room which is necessary due to the lack of air conditioning. Fan is available to circulate the air. Bed is comfortable, and there’s a shoe horn in the room! Water pressure is average and TV is not smart, but who needs a TV when you’ve got such a great view from the balcony
