5/5 — Excellent stay in the heart of Interlaken We fell in love with this hotel right away. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk from the train station and bus stop, making it super easy to travel around Interlaken and the Jungfrau region. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the little touches like free drinking water and a coffee machine in the lobby really make a difference. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a refrigerator, cupboard, kettle, and extra blankets. The best part? The amazing mountain view of Jungfraujoch right from our window. The breakfast is one of the highlights of our stay — simple but full of sincerity. We loved the egg boiling machine where you can cook your eggs just the way you like, and the Nutella dispenser was such a fun touch! 🥰 Overall, Bernerhof offers great value, comfort, and a perfect location. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Interlaken. 📍 Tip: Request a room facing the mountain for the best view.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We got our room upgraded for free. Stunning view from the balcony. Very spacious. Full control of the A/C and heat. The breakfast was decent too. Super close to the train/bus station. Good water pressure. Friendly staff.

While the exterior looks a bit dated, the rooms are comfortable, clean, and surprisingly spacious for a three-star hotel. We loved that it came with a balcony with beautiful views of the town and mountains, and the many windows that opened for fresh air. The shower had great water pressure, and the receptionist was incredibly kind — he even prepared breakfast for us the night before our early flight, which we really appreciated. There’s also an espresso machine in the lobby available at any time and a rooftop with stunning views. The location couldn’t be better — just steps from the Interlaken West train station and shops and restaurants.

We stayed here in July 2025 and we had a great experience. The check in was very informational and gave us tips on the weather. Our room was very clean, spacious and nicely designed (room for 3). We also had a great balcony view that we weren't expecting. We got breakfast and they had a large spread of many different options, also with a nice view of the landscapes. The best part of this hotel was the location! Only a 2 min walk from Interlaken West and the bus station. We got free bus cards from the hotel to take the bus anywhere and it was pretty manageable to navigate. The lakes nearby were beautiful and so many restaurants, shops, etc within walking distance. Would highly recommend this to a friend!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised by how spotless the room was. We stayed for two nights, and the receptionist guy was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and even shared great recommendations on places to visit. Although the breakfast isn’t Halal, as Muslim travellers we still enjoyed it because the hotel offers a good range of cereals, granola, spreads and breads — more than enough for us. And the cappuccino was so good that we ended up having two cups each every morning! The hotel is just a stone’s throw away from Interlaken West train station. Despite being close to shops, it was very quiet inside unless we opened the balcony door. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for all travellers!

Very nice clean room but very expensive compared to other places we stayed in Switzerland. Our room was supposed to have a/c but we could not figure it out. We had to crack our window to sleep. The noise from the restaurant downstairs kept us up late every night. I’d recommend getting a room in the back away from the street noise. This hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance from the Interlaken West train station. Very nice breakfast with a good selection. Front desk staff were wonderful with directions and suggestions.||The hotel makes a point of telling guests they are not affiliated with the restaurant downstairs. I am grateful that I read the reviews before we ate there. Reviews are awful. We opted for Husi Bierhaus, an easy 10 minute walk.

This is such a great hotel, so close to the Interlaken West train and bus station. Very clean rooms, very friendly staff who greeted us each day and were very helpful. The breakfast included was also nice as the area tends to be pretty expensive. I did ask for my room to be upgraded with air conditioning two days before checking in and am so glad I did, well worth it for the view and cool room. We slept well, and would love to come back again someday. View is from our room balcony!

This is a wonderful hotel in a wonderful location of Interlaken. It is on the main downtown area and just in front of Interlaken West train station. Our room was for a family of three and it was quite spacious and very clean. The view of the mountains from the balcony was excellent. They have a wonderful breakfast! Would like to give a special shout out to Doreen at the front desk! She was a gracious host and helped us with lot of good suggestions while exploring Interlaken and the surrounding areas. She made our stay much more memorable!!!!
