Great location only 450m from the station, good reception and information regarding bus times/ funicular and places to eat. Clean room and good free wifi, towels included but only two sachets of soap.- Asked for more and got a further two!!!|Very nice balcony to watch life go by and have a glass of wine. Nice shower & bath.|Rather noisy at night due to the main road outside- Perhaps ask for a room at the back or bring ear plugs.|Breakfast was a good continental style with really odd coloured eggs- a great touch.

Nice location close to the train station but the room I got was certainly not worth 102 francs. It was small, too hot and noisy even with closed windows, no air conditioning. It has vis à vis. The bed sheets were harsh.

Hotel Besso is just a short walk (350m) from the main station and though the decor is a little older, the rooms are so clean, comfortable and staff really friendly (especially Roberto). With access to the Ticino card we had free public transport which was amazing to explore many places. The location with #3 bus outside and the station with the little train, main train, funicular and buses, we zipped around the area on public transport. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Breakfast was a lovely continental style.

The hotel is near the station and the center. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable.

Super super basic hotel. Although there is an AC unit in the room, there is no AC controller. Loud noise from the street.|Asked for extra 20 CHF for the aircon remote. No fan in room as well in the summer heat. Water is extra 2 CHF. No parking on site, had to park opposite. |Good for a transit hotel as only paid about 90 CHF for a night. But definitely not a hotel to choose to sleep in for longer.

The place was great for the price! Even though it’s relatively affordable for the area, the rooms were really clean and neat and the service was really good as well. They did a great job of being friendly and offering any extra help I needed. The rooms are a bit older looking but everything in them functions just fine and still feels cozy.

A very very basic hotel. |The room is very clean. The hotel is otherwise outdated and very basically furnished. There is no fridge or air conditioning in the room. With temperatures of 32 degrees, the windows need to be opened, making the street noise extremely disturbing.|Parking is also challenging as the nearby Besso parking garage only offers parking for 2 hours, and the hotel itself does not have any spaces.

I chose this hotel because of it location next to the central station, it was important! The personal is really friendly! Comfortable bed, hot water in a shower, what else do you need for a one night?!
