I booked for three days during the Festival of Lights in December through Booking.com with free cancellation up to a few days before. When it came time to pay, they told me that my card had been declined and that they had made several attempts but were unable to withdraw the amount, blaming the card for not working. After the cancellation, I ran a simulation for the same dates and saw that they had changed the minimum booking days! So, in fact, the room was still available,and it certainly wasn't my card that wasn't working. Really unprofessional and disrespectful. When they canceled at short notice before the arrival date, many hotels were no longer available.
Be careful if you need to book this hotel!
