The hotel is simple but offers a pleasant stay overall. The location is quite good, making it easy to explore the area, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. While the shampoo could be of better quality, the friendly service helped make up for it. For a 4-star hotel, there's room for improvement, but the experience was still enjoyable.

The room was nice and location good but no close parking and apparently cars have been broken into… But no coffee machine in the room, powder coffee instead for 4 star hotel… the fridge is super small and barely cold… little sewer flies in the bathroom, breakfast finishes at 9:30 !!!!!!!! and you have to click on the TV to know about it…

All brilliant thank you. Family room particularly spacious and comfortable and service was excellent. Note that the parking is only for smaller cars so we had to park our medium-sized SUV five minutes away (in a very safe carpark).

My wife and I spent 2 nights. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which had a fabulous view of the Rhone and the Grand Hotel Dieu. The main bedroom was large with plenty of space for the sofa an chairs. There was a separate entry room that has bunk beds hidden away for family stays, and there was a very good bathroom with everything needed for travellers, including a magnifying mirror. The decor was very nice and fresh and everything was spotlessly clean. The room also had a lovely spacious balcony with a view to the Rhone and the beautiful Grand Hotel Dieu. The hotel is really well located with only a short and very direct walk to the Part Dieu train station and a few minutes scenic walk along the river and across a bridge to the centre of the city. The staff were very friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Best Western du Pont Wilson was nice. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I suggest staying here as it's well connected by metro and tram and you can walk to Presqu'ile restaurants within 15 mintues. Great location for connection to the Part-Dieu train station too. Only complaint is the A/C wasn't working well when we were there.

It was a good hotel close to city center. My room was very big and comfortable. A lot of choice at breakfast but it wasn't exceptional.

Wonderful hotel in a good location. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. We had a pleasant greeting upon arrival. Breakfast is limited, but great for a simple start to a stay in Lyon. If you are used to the average BW in the US you are in for a very pleasant surprise.
