Hotel Beth Shalom

This place is a quiet nice place to stay in the center of Haifa. It was very easy to find, and has public transportation to anywhere significant, so we could leave our car at the hotel and go exploring. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable when we asked about different things around the country. Always a nice stay there. They even have a bomb shelter when needed 🙂

could use a fresh new look and a layer of paint but it was really clean and nice, good service, decent breakfast, friendly and really helpful staff. The bathroom might be an issue if you are tall though 😂

I recently stayed with a group of co-workers at the wonderful Beit Shalom hotel. Located in center city, Haifa, it is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, the Haifa Zoo, and many bus lines. My experience there was very positive. The staff was warm and friendly, and the amenities were satisfying. One of the standout features of this hotel was the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing us to relax and rejuvenate. The hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in their exceptional service. The staff members were attentive, accommodating, and always ready to assist. Complimentary coffee and cake was available throughout the day; it added an extra touch of comfort and hospitality. The hotel also has a well-equipped space for meetings, or gathering, as well as a lounge area. In addition to a ping pong table there is a spacious balcony was an absolute delight. It provided a serene spot to enjoy a meal, or read a book. Overall, my stay at this hotel was very pleasant

Stay Elsewhere!! Better Recommended hotels || We used to be regulars. Stayed here many times in the past. As a travel guide . we have referred many Baha’i people too. This time we booked 9 days. Place has deteriorated enormously.||Yes we made a mistake and left clothes on the heater to dry.||The brother is rude and hostile. And it began the minute we walked in from overseas. No hello. No Welcome back ||||Yes there is a war going here, as he reminded me rudely after telling us off about leaving the clothes on the heater.||But no excuse to have freezing corridors with no heat whatsoever and wind and rain blowing through. We have come to visit sick relatives.||And since staying here I am now sick!||We stayed in 2 warm hotels in Tel||Aviv and Jerusalem - no heating problems. There was even a drying rack.||||Nowhere to hang clothes to dry or clothes rack. No laundromat anywhere ||Why stay open if there is a war and you can’t afford heating in what has been the coldest weather in 30 years?||||Next breakfast deteriorated too.||Used to be a better selection - many things removed and served several days in a row!||||Finally! A very low light switch immediately above the bed. Have banged our heads numerous times .||No response at all||It is actually the indifference and rude attitude .||We are very unhappy about this and will not be staying here again! Or recommend to our Baha’i friends.

We stayed here from June 5th - 15th 2022 and really enjoyed it. A nice, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff and an excellent Israeli breakfast! The location is perfect for us and when I think of our other stays in Haifa I have to say this is the best for value and location. Ariel was very helpful in trying to sort out some missing luggage issues we had. And the baked goods they usually had available for guests in the lobby were excellent. This is definitely our preferred location from now on when travelling to Haifa.

Went on a 9 day pilgrimage to the Baha’i gardens in Haifa and this was a great place to be. We had breakfast every morning with many options (there was like 6 different types of cheese) and it was also accommodated for us depending on our schedule with the pilgrimage. We got 2 rooms with 2 beds in each and for the cost it was pretty good. The staff were exceptional, accommodating and helpful. Cleanliness in the general hotel was a solid 8/10 but the cleaning in our rooms was more 7/10 (floors were sometimes dirty and towels were not taken from the room and replaced on some days). Considering the cost and what was provided including its location it’s hard to say no to such a good deal, however the walk kind of killed us so I think we might find an Airbnb next to Hatziyonut next time. Loved it tho!

This hotel is so neat ant very clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is great. There were free coffee/tea and fruits and cake at the reception area 24 hours available. But the fact that rooms were perfectly clean is important. We stayed in a few hotels in Israel and this one was the the rare perfectly clean. If ever again in Haifa we will go only there.|

Breakfast is included in the price and this is really needed because the food price is very expensive in Haifa. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is wonderful. The bus stop is directly in front of the Hotel and it takes 5 minutes to walk to the center of this area where all the restaurants are located and also a big supermarket. The Hotel is very clean, our room and the beddings were very clean. The room was small, but it had all that a traveler needs; so it was good. The only challenge is that the check out time is at 10:00 in the morning but it is possible to keep your stuff as long as you need it in the Hotel. The Hotel is located near the zoo which is a wonderful location for travelers with children.
