A centrally located property. The Hotel has an incredible decor and collection of artefacts and antiques. The rooms have been tastefully done up in the local Rajasthani style. The owner Harsh has an impressive collection of antique cars. The breakfast is simple but tasty and wholesome. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

I stayed at this haveli during an Intrepid Travel trip, the property is really cute, but needs some attention and care. I really enjoyed the themes of each room and hope the hotel can return to its former glory. It's a quiet place directly across from Junagarth Fort There is a restaurant on premises across the entrance, worth a visit

I feel compelled to warn other travellers about this place. It is an eclectic museum calling itself a hotel, which it is not remotely close to living up to. Everything is unclean - rooms, restaurant, hallways, etc. However, the service is at another level of aweful. The staff have no idea what they are doing, don't seem to care and don't respond to even basic requests. We could not wait to get out of this place quicker. Without doubt the worst hotel by a long way that we stayed at over 15 days in Rajasthan

Although they call heritage hotel and provide top class amenities like soap, dental kit, saving kit, tea kettle, room heater etc, the severely lack up keep of hotel and proper service. Room 206 has got working geyser but hot water is not connected to wash basin. Does not have hand faucet for commode. Doesn't have hangers in Almira. Tea making materials are short supply and they don't fill quickly. Towels are not changed every day. Some of my friends who came for a marriage along with me complain no room heater, no tea kettle in room. Overall Although well located (most heritage hotels are in city centre) it seems they don't have enough money for upkeep and service of this property.

The experience was very terrible. We booked some rooms online seeing the images and we also called them to tell us about the rooms but all they said was lies. The swimming pool was very dirty with insects in it and they straight away declined our request of cleaning it. The beds were filled with insects instead of cotton. The lights were not working at all. Food was also very horrible. The top floor rooms seemed to be originally a tent turned into a shabby room. The water was not coming in the toilets. The location of this Vilas/hotel might seem attractive but it is very horrible. Never in my life have I ever seen a hotel like this. These hotels bring shame to our country India. I would not recommend to book this hotel.

Worst hotel I’ve ever been to. We had booked about 9 rooms for around thirty people, all family. The images and reviews all said the property was stunning with top tier service, and the sorts. On entrance we saw the reception was poorly maintained and only one inattentive staff manned the desk. The staff were rude and inattentive at most. The pool was supposedly well maintained and luxury, although it looked like a century old well that hadn’t been cleaned in years. The stairways were very narrow and steep, not at all suitable for little children. We had specifically asked the manager to give us ground and first floor rooms because we had several toddlers and children with us, and instead we got the top rooms. I myself got one of the topmost rooms. The entrance was disgusting and the wood was filled with termites. The rest of the room was initially enticing and luxury looking at first, until you got a closer look at everything. The table, bed and sofa were damaged, very dirty and antique. The blanket on the bed had no cover, just a bed sheet laid on top of the blanket as a sore excuse for a blanket cover. The bed itself had insects, large and small ones, crawling all over. The curtains were ripped and had insects sticking to them. The AC was extremely old and inefficient and couldn’t cool the hot room. The bathroom entrance was as such that there was a high chance someone could trip down the stairs and injure themselves. The staff kept making excuses for everything. There were 3, just 3 staff manning the entire hotel, including the rude receptionist. 15 of us had rooms that were too disgusting to spend a single night in and we asked the manager to do something about it. The manager told us that it was our problem and thus we were forced to move hotels. This wasn’t cheap either. This hotel is a scam and a fraud. Don’t trust those foreigner’s comments. For whatever reason the manager and executives are sort of racist and favour the foreigners.

Authentic Haveli with really old and dated decoration. Some may find it scary but I loved the vibe of the room with real leopard skin hung on my room wall. The property is well maintained although it can improve further to really be one of the finest heritage stays in Rajasthan. Walking distance from the Junagarh Fort gate and other famous eateries near the railway station. Limited breakfast options.

It is a haveli turned into a hotel with good services and staff. But the bill you get at the end of your stay will tell you the truth. The complimentary breakfast was third grade. Bread butter, banana and tea. On insisting they provided plain poha. Extra breakfast cost for such a small item is 300/-.
