Hotel Bidaïa

Lovely staff, warm, helpful and welcoming. Excellent location in the Gros neighborhood of San Sebastian some 10 min from the beach. Large, very clean, well appointed rooms. Excellent restaurant. Free parking on the hotel premises. A great choice for a quiet boutique hotel within walking distance of all the sites.

Hotel Bidaia is a fantastic stay for San Sebastián. Short walk to Gros and only 15 min walk or so to Old Town. We got the family room, which was huge. Great blackout shades and comfortable beds. Staff are super helpful. Greatly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

We had a good stay here. The hotel is very clean and the room was very large and well equipped. The bed was among the best I have ever slept in. For those on a road trip - car park is good. Entrance has a slightly high curb that needs careful approach in any low car, but was OK in our 911. Even as the world's fussiest parker I found a spot that meant I could sleep at night. Considering the price we paid and generally quite upscale feel to the hotel, it is an odd decision not to put coffee in the rooms. I asked at the desk and was told only tea in the rooms. Coffee is only available in the lobby from 8am and costs a couple of euros. Very odd and we felt a bit jipped by it.

We had a wonderful stay for nearly a week in Hotel Bidaia. The staff were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help us. We had breakfast and evening meals in the hotel and the food is delicious. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We couldn’t recommend the hotel highly enough and thanks again to the fantastic staff for making our stay in San Sebastián so enjoyable.

A really wonderful place to stay in Donostia-San Sebastian. As a solo traveller on a very long trip, it felt exceptional to be received with genuine warmth and interest. You can really feel the difference at this family-run hotel, from Marco and all of the staff. Loved the neighborhood of Gros, the incredibly good food and service, the comfort and tranquility. I’ll return in a heartbeat. Thank you Marco and team!

Great stay for San Sebastian - friendly service, provided really good recommendations and within walking distance to the sights in the city, but quiet enough not to be disturbed by the crowds. Safe car parking and was happy to accommodate cars with low clearance at request which was much appreciated

Lovely little spot, very well located and an easy walk into the Old Town and Gros. The staff were incredibly helpful and shared excellent dinner recommendations. Ideal if you need secure parking.

Our 1st time in San Sebastiqn and stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel. We like the location because it was walking distance to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean.
