We had a wonderful stay for nearly a week in Hotel Bidaia. The staff were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help us. We had breakfast and evening meals in the hotel and the food is delicious. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We couldn’t recommend the hotel highly enough and thanks again to the fantastic staff for making our stay in San Sebastián so enjoyable.

A really wonderful place to stay in Donostia-San Sebastian. As a solo traveller on a very long trip, it felt exceptional to be received with genuine warmth and interest. You can really feel the difference at this family-run hotel, from Marco and all of the staff. Loved the neighborhood of Gros, the incredibly good food and service, the comfort and tranquility. I’ll return in a heartbeat. Thank you Marco and team!

Our 1st time in San Sebastiqn and stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel. We like the location because it was walking distance to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean.

Couldn't agree more with the reviews about the fantastic staff at this hotel! They went over and above to make our stay enjoyable! The loft room was great for our family of 5 - such comfortable beds and loved the black-out blinds. Location was great for walking into the old town and Gros, but it was the staff that really made it - the best hotel we stayed in this summer!

By having the misfortune of our taxi driver taking us to the wrong hotel, it was our good fortune to meet Marco (Manager of Hotel Bibaia) who suggested we stay there. It was the best decision we made as we enjoyed 3 very comfortable days in this lovely boutique hotel. Our room was on the third floor loft, modern furnishings, spotlessly clean, bright, with windows you could open and block out blinds, and a very comfortable bed. Everything which has been said in previous reviews only confirms our experience at this hotel. It is a nice walk into the city area, quiet and a relaxing hotel to enjoy the area. Would highly recommend a stay here!

We stayed for 2 nights, having chosen the hotel because of its location including on-site parking. We were very happy with our double room, and the view from it. An easy walk into Gros, and the Old Town across the bridge. Exceptionally clean throughout, and service incredibly helpful & friendly - a special shout out to Telmo. We ate out both days but judging from the breakfasts would not hesitate to have dinner in the hotel; late night drinks on the terrace most enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel in San Sebastian. The people running the hotel and in reception and breakfast area are super friendly and informative. We loved the spacious and modern rooms, the terraces, the breakfast, easy on-site parking and modern shower room. Our room with a separate single bed area from the large king bed area worked really well for a family.|Whilst the hotel is a 20 minute walk to the main beach in San Sebastian its in a lovely quiet location and we were told about the numbers 13 and 14 buses which take you to the centre and back in about 5 mins and run all the time.|Minor improvements could be an armchair and small table in the family room (I saw these in other rooms) and perhaps acess to orange juice/cereals/fruit yourself at breakfast instead of having to order all from the extensive menu. |These are mionor points in what was a superb experience.

It's a charming small hotel with a great staff. The room was a little on the small side but bed was comfortable. Room was very clean and maintained well. The shower was powerful and hot. We included breakfast with our room. The coffee was really good and breakfast was hot and cooked to order. There wasn't a huge selection but portions were generous. Bathroom amenities were excellent. I especially liked the body/hand lotion. The staff were so nice and helpful especially Belen who worked the registration desk and also worked in the restaurant. The restaurant does not open until 8:00 AM. We like coffee first thing in the morning. There is a water pot and cups but only green tea in the room. When we requested coffee packets, they only had decaf. There was not really a good explanation as to why, so we bought a jar of instant coffee at a supermarket in town and all was well for the next mornings. My suggestion is that the hotel provide regular coffee packets in the rooms. Location in Gros is ok. There is a medium to long walk to get to restaurants in town. But we learned about the buses and that helped. Walking is pleasant with sidewalks everywhere. Benches appeared along the way so I could rest if needed. There are fantastic tapas/pinchos restaurants everywhere. Hotel has a list of recommended ones in Gros and in the Old Town.
