A no frills hotel. The rooms are a decent size, the beds comfy, and the en suite has a toilet, sink and shower. It's in the old town, but less than five minutes walk from the river, from where you can walk, or take public transport across the city.

Couldn’t fault this hotel - large well sized room with nice Juliet balcony. Right in the heart of the streets of Bilbao. Perfect for our stay. Cleaned each day!

Clean, fairly basic hotel in the Old Town. Rooms in the front can be a bit noisy from street noise, those in the back are quiet. Beds are comfortable. No breakfasts but there is an excellent cute little bakery/coffee shop called Charamel just down the street. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. ||Our one complaint was that the “superior deluxe” room we booked looked nothing like the website picture—it was under a garret with skylights but no windows you could see out, and was quite stuffy on a warm October evening. See pic 1. We complained but they couldn’t move us until the next night because they were booked. The room for our second night was very nice and light and quiet and they supplied a fan, which was great. See pic 2.

Perfect small hotel in a wonderful location. The front desk was absolutely amazing. They gave us maps of the city, suggested sights to see and places to eat. The room was clean and even had soap and shampoo. The room was tiny, but we didn't spend much time in it for it to matter. There is a window, but the view is into other people's private residence so we closed the curtains. The breakfast is wonderful, but does have a cost in addition to the room. Would highly recommend staying here as the hotel is in a wonderful location and had everything we needed!

Spent a few days here with my wife and was very happy. The staff are really nice and helpful. It's right in the middle of the old town with a selection of decent restaurants just outside. There's gentle ambient music in the reception area which I found relaxing. Felt like it was worth more than the two star grading but maybe that's because there's no fridge or kettle in the room

Great location in the middle of Old Town, near bars, restaurants, bakeries/cafes, while still being quiet inside. The closest metro stop is about 5 minutes walk away. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful during check in and with any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed five days in Bilbao at the Hotel Bilbao Jardines. This is a lovely hotel that was very clean and well maintained. It is in a perfect location in old town (Casco Viejo) to enjoy everything in the city. We met David, at the front desk, who gave us great advice about desayuno locations and other places to visit. He even shared cultural and historical information about Basque Country - very interesting! David was super friendly and showed a great deal of genuine interest in us. Much appreciated.

Excellent location! My only concern with the room, you are not going to be able to operate air conditioning unit by your self. In my case, they program unit as a heater and no matter I complain and let them know room was hot, they don't change it.
