Hotel Bintang Tawangmangu

I reached here on a rainy night and completely soaked to the bones. This hotel was really awesome. It had all the modern facilities, toiletries, hot shower, a nice comfortable bed and a good parking space for the bike. The waterfall is also not very far from here. The unique Sukuh temple is also a 20 minute drive away. Totally enjoyed my stay in this small town hotel. The staff is cute and helpful too!

This is old hotel but Ok. Around 200 meter from food area. Recommended

If you are looking for size, this hotel is perfect. Very spacious, with balcony overlooking mountain. However if you are looking for a modern kind of accommodation, you need to look elsewhere. Important: Overhead shower in the bathtub, no shower curtain, nor safety handheld bar. not suitable for elderly parents. Room amenities and faciilties: tired. Need major upgrade.

For a 2 star hotel, the room is pretty good and spacious (note: I booked family room). The price is also affordable compared to the other hotels in the vicinity. The scenery around the hotel actually not so good, but not bad I think. If you're searching for the air conditioned rooms, there isn't AC in this hotel, just a fan. But don't worry because it's quite cool especially at night. and during my stay, the water heater was a little problematic. I think there's many people who have complained about this water heater problem before.

Nice place to stay though kind of older hotel but with renovation. Stay in Deluxe room in 4,5 floor (lift provided) with view of the hills. Quite spacious rooms, slippers n toiletries are also provided. No AC coz temp is 15°C at midnite till dawn. Economical rate with breakfast included. Small note just to keep the room cleaner...

The Bintang hotel looks nice and has a western atmosphere. During our stay we were one of the very few guests as season was over. ||||Even though there was a lot of personnel hanging around, the hotel could be kept clean much better (trays with coffee cups stood two days in de corridor), there was a lot of dust everywhere. The bed was ok, the bathroom fine.

i just posted pictures from any angle cause there is not much eye catching spot in this hotel. something what i can give a comment here is about the staff were so humble & helpful and the food was good too. but the room facility i ordered, i feel it's not complete such as the TV remote which has different brand with the TV so i can't use it & the died lightbulb, oh my gosh. i hope the management will read my comment here & fix the problem very soon. thanks.

Would be my most horrible vacation at time we stayed. Stayed in 416, with a noisy next room all night long (supposed to be no guest there, I guessed). haunted? Breakfast service at room, due to our complaint. But might better not have it. Restaurant was not in operation due to and only served for group of guests. Moved to Grand Bintang looking for restaurant. Surprisingly no restaurant in that hotel... You shall take 3 km from hotel to the nearest food court, while you will probably have difficuties to get your parking place back. We were starving and finally only took some bakso and satay in front of hotel Grand Bintang. No mini stores around the hotel, you must be ammunised yourselves before deciding to stay there, otherwise you are starved. Don't expect to have candle dinner... Too expensive, IDR 850K, for such low facilities and services. Will be no more stay there, sorry
