At first I was really put off by this hotel. It had hostel vibes and the rooms were cramped and dingy. But the overall hotel had so much personality and the breakfast was terrific. The staff were very accommodating (extra pillows etc) and the area was quaint. I wouldn’t stay here again but I was not displeased.

Very well located in the center of Berlin, with plenty of transport options nearby (tram, metro, and buses). The staff was really nice, breakfast was good and served until late (11 a.m.). The rooms were clean and comfortable. I really recommend this hotel! :)

Rooms require renovations. There was some weird smell when I arrived, I had to leave window open. Bathroom also had issues with water going slowly out of the drain. Friendly and helpful stuff.

An absolutely delightful experience. Eclectically decorated hotel rooms that are a delight and a wonderful breakfast with great variety. The staff is also friendly and helpful and help make the visit even better

Very quaint and comfortable hotel. Well situated with walking distance to tower and cathedral in Berlin. Staff very warm and courteous.|Small details to deco makes it warm. My wife loved the musical boxes in elevator. Rooms are comfy and clean

The hotel is a great option for a short stay in Berlin! Good value for the money. The atmosphere created by the decoration and furniture is inspiringly edgy. I really enjoyed my stay. I rated it four instead of five stars because hotel Birgit is addressing the basic needs for an economic travel budget. It is not the kind of place that seeks to impress with overwhelming display of luxury.

Lovely little hotel. Room was comfortable and warm and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is a ten min walk to transport links so really easy to travel about the city we wanted to visit some christmas markets and also see around the city.It was a lovely touch when we opened our door to find a chocolate santa claus left for us thank you so much. We would definately stay again and reccomend to friends.
