Booked the wrong date (Jun instead of Jul). I contacted the hotel when I realized my mistake the day of, asking if we could move my booking to my intended date, and was okay to pay for a second room stay, but was expecting some commercial gesture since they were either able to book my room to somebody else, or not but still save as I was no show. Paying close to $200 for a room I was not able to use, I'd have been happy to pay another $160 or so and stay at that hotel. Got no response. Followed up later that day. Still being ignored. A few days later, I sent another message, and was finally answered in an accusatory tone stating it was my fault (which I already admitted) and they would do a $3 discount on a second booking. That honestly felt very insulting, especially after being ignored for days, and I booked elsewhere.
Now I'm reading other reviews similar experience both with being booked the wrong month and lack of customer service. Could be a coincidence, or a pattern, either way, be cautious with this hotel.
