An experience to avoid. The owner shows a surprising lack of professionalism and respect. His communication was unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy. There was no sense of customer care or hospitality — just rigid rules and a cold attitude. While I understand that policies must be respected, the way they are applied makes all the difference. Unfortunately, there was no effort to communicate with respect or understanding, which is essential in this industry. No listening, no flexibility, no effort to find a solution — just condescension and rigidity. He just wanted to keep my money. Not recommended if you value professionalism and a welcoming attitude.

Very nice little hotel. The rooms have recently been refreshed. I only stayed for a night during a business trip.

Small but clean room. That aside the check-in was strange, got no notices anytime before checkin or arrival from them ever with info, only to be told from the guy at the front desk (who wasn't even wearing shoes) that reception closes at 6:30pm.. luckily we arrived 35 minutes before that time or else we would have been just waiting outside wondering what to do? |Also the rooms have NO AC or fans! I don't usually get hot but this room was very hot and stale air, had to open the windows to try to sleep, but the streets are so loud. My night there was miserable honestly, as I couldn't even sleep. Location was good, but I wouldn't recommend

Clean, quiet and nice hotel. The lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. Very good location.

Spotless, quiet, comfy bed, flexible friendly staff, good value, beautiful back garden (when it isn't raining), only a few minutes walking to the zoo I'll be back 🙏

If I ever come back to Basel, I am definitely staying here. The location is good enough to walk basically anywhere, there is parking nearby too. The reception is very kind and give importance to privacy. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Totally recommended.

I had a nice stay in this hotel in Basel. Room was fine, clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom really small, but everything needed is there. Personnel kind and environment calm, not far to the main tram lines. Good ratio quality/price. I will come back again.

Location is perfect, close to everything: city center, parking, zoo. Rooms were good, clean and cozy. Staff was kind but the girl only spoke German, which we do not. Minor inconvenience, for we got to understand each other fine!
