Hotel Bishops House

One of the best locations in Prague. Right off the Charles' Bridge, but out of the thrones of tourist. Lovely cafes and stores around and withing walking distance of everything. The hotel itself is great. Very cozy with comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast! Absolutely recommended!

Location is absolutely perfect only a stones throw from Charles Bridge and a few hundred meters the opposite way to a vast public transport system. The reception area is bright, clean and airy. We were on the third floor so were glad there was a small lift. Rooms are very clean and bright with a modern bathroom. We didn’t hear any noise from anywhere around the building. All staff exceptionally polite and helpful. Breakfast was very varied and there were always tables available. All in all a lovely experience in a beautiful part of the city. Many thanks to all staff we met who were so very polite and welcoming and of course for the bottle of wine left in my room for my 60th birthday ❤️

Very nice hotel in a very very good central location. You are in walking distance from all Major landmarks. Rooms are bright and spacious. Staff friendly and professional. Breakfast from 8 to 10 only so late sleepers will suffer… Food was good but not diverse. Sweet options more limited.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The online checkin made our arrival a breeze and the front desk staff was so kind. The location is amazing with lots of resaurants and the Charles Bridge nearby. The rooms were clean and roomy with comfy beds and breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there for 1 night and it was absolutely perfect. We were able to get an early check in, there are 24h free coffee, tea water and cookies available, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the rooms were very clean and modern. The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing as it is only 1 min from the bridge and around 10 minutes from the castle away. The staff there was super friendly and helpful as well. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience and very recommendable 😁

Stayed here whilst visiting the Christmas markets. Great location as could walk to the markets and Prague castle not that far away. Near lots of restaurants. Definitely recommend Pod Vezi, but book as gets busy. | Hotel clean and modern but still has some old uncovered features of the Bishop’s House.||Lift to all floors- although small|Nice toiletries- including shampoo/ body wash, conditioner, liquid hand wash and body lotion.|Helpful and friendly staff, especially Helena.|Exceptionally clean.|Breakfast selection great, there is a tea / coffee machine that you can use during the day in the breakfast area as well as cake and biscuits. Tea/ coffee available in room||Beat the crowds and go to Charles Bridge early|Top tip download PID transport app has a map and plans your journey. Also watch a You Tube video with a lady called Valerie about using the tram/ bus/ metro line. Not complicated and you can buy a 72 hour ticket for 330czk for under £12. If you are between 60 and 65 you can get a ticket for half price. You can purchase tickets from the orange machine on the tram. ( These will be validated) otherwise make sure you validate your ticket. We didn’t do hop on off bus as didn’t get great reviews. ||We would definitely stay here again. My only criticism would be needs more milk left in the room.

The Hotel Bishop's House was truly amazing. The location at the foot of the Charles Bridge was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds comfortable...Oh yes... this is most important to us who need our sleep. The staff were immensely helpful. A shout out to Helena who went out of her way to provide information needed. Overall...a 5 star experience...and did I mention a fantastic breakfast included. Truly AMAZING.

Stayed two nights at Hotel Bishop’s House in Prague, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. From the moment we arrived, the service and warmth stood out. Helena deserves a special mention, she welcomed us with genuine kindness, gave thoughtful recommendations, and treated every guest with the same care. She truly killed it with kindness. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a huge king bed, great pillows, and AC that worked perfectly (rare in Europe). Housekeeping kept everything to the highest standard, and small touches like an espresso machine and quality toiletries made the stay even better. The location couldn’t be more perfect, literally steps from Charles Bridge, Old Town across the river, and all of Prague within easy walking distance. The hotel arranged our airport transfer seamlessly, and breakfast each morning was excellent. What made the stay special, beyond the comfort and location, was the feeling of warmth, from the hotel and from the Czech people in general. We felt genuinely welcomed everywhere, which made our short stay unforgettable. FYI: • AC individually controlled and reliable. • Breakfast included and very good. • Airport transfer arranged smoothly. • Perfect location for exploring Prague on foot. Highly recommend! Next time in Prague, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else

Affable Receptionist(s) Clean rooms Spacious rooms Large showers Great breakfast buffet Tiny European elevators Proximity to all the shops/restos/landmarks Automatic shoe-shine machine Louis R is not a Bishop, he is a King, but the King shall stay here again. Be like Louis R. Be a world traveler.

My wife and I stayed at the Bishop's House a couple of years ago when visiting Prague. She is from the Czech Republic and her family still lives there, so we come back annually to visit. We had booked this trip in 2019 before COVID-19 happened. Our airline canceled our flight due to the EU travel ban from the US and we are unable to come. My wife called and explained the limitations several times to the property manager and was provided horrible customer service. They would not cancel our reservation or even provide a credit for a future stay. These people are thieves and should be ashamed of themselves. We will never stay here again. Have some decency, it's unbelievable how they took advantage of the situation that was out of our control.

Spacious room and bathroom, clean and quiet, comfortable and convenient. Hotel Bishop's House has all of this and more! We appreciated the location, just steps from the Charles Bridge and Old Town, but tucked into a quiet corner, away from the hustle and bustle happening one street over and yet still convenient to so many restaurants. The reception staff was fabulous, kind and helpful, even arranged for a driver to pick us up and take us back to the airport (for an added fee). What more could you expect from a hotel? If we visit Prague again, we will definitely stay here!

Poor management, wouldn't respond to our emails about cancelation due to travel ban in USA! You won't see you money back if your country doesn't allow you to travel. We won't be staying at this hotel and I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. There were other hotels that canceled our reservations without any problems. Enjoy the money thieves!

Hotel Bishop's house consistently offers one of the best accommodation deals in the heart of Prague. Fantastic location with all major sites within short walking distance, Charles Bridge is literary less than a minute from your door, comfortable rooms, the most professional personnel. This was our 3rd stay. Could not be happier.
