Bishop's House, a Design Boutique Hotel Prague, Czech Republic

"Renovated in 2015, Bishop's House is a design hotel in the heart of the historical centre of Prague, only 60 metres from Charles Bridge and the Vltava river and a 10-minute walk from Prague Castle. It offers free WiFi in the entire hotel. The main hotel building dates back to the 16th century and has an empire façade from 1843. Guests can also choose accommodation in a Gothic tower which was a former official seat of the bishop, first mentioned in the 13th century. All rooms are air-conditioned. The top-floor tower rooms feature beautiful ceilings, reminiscent of the long history of the house. A limited number of parking places is available directly in front of the Bishop’s House. We truly loved our stay at this charming boutique hotel. The breakfast spread was incredibly sumptuous, and the hotel went the extra mile by offering all-day coffee and a selection of pastries—such a thoughtful touch.||The staff were amazing, especially Helena and Standard, who were exceptionally accommodating. They helped us book our Prague activities, including the city tour, classical concert, and made lunch and dinner reservations in fine places for us.||The location was perfect—right in the heart of Old Town—giving us easy access to shops, the Charles Bridge, and especially making our daily visits to the Infant Jesus of Prague so convenient.||If we ever have the chance to visit again, we’ll definitely stay at the same hotel!

The Best Hotel Experience in Prague, and Czech. This hotel is just a couple of minutes from the bridge, making it a perfect location. I love its contemporary decor—everything is thoughtfully designed and built with high-quality materials. One thing I truly appreciated was the bedding. Czech standard pillows are usually uncomfortable for sleeping, but I was relieved to find the hotel’s little red pillows, which were perfect for me. The breakfast was amazing! I finally got to enjoy a proper European-style breakfast with a rich variety of high-quality options. I especially loved the tea. The hotel truly pays attention to every detail. There was only one issue: I stayed on the 4th floor, and the water pressure wasn’t strong enough to properly wash and rinse my hair.

Very welcoming hotel. Cakes on offer for free all day. Standa and Helena on Reception were wonderful hosts. The location is perfect. I have mobility and vision disabilities and I got everywhere I wanted to go very easily. Metro is very close.

This was hands down one of my most favorite places to stay! Perfect location, close to things but still far enough away that it’s quiet at night and you can get a full nights rest. Breakfast spread was wonderful too. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, front desk staff is wonderful and friendly. Would stay here again 100%

This would be a 5* review if we didn’t feel misled. We booked a standard double room and the pictures showed rooms with full sized windows. When we got the actual room, it had two tiny useless windows. Everything else about the hotel was great. Breakfast - what you’d expect, room was clean, good service. Just wish we knew about the room.

This charming and tranquil historic hotel is situated near Charles Bridge, in the peaceful Mala Strana district of Prague. Upon our late arrival, the courteous and welcoming staff ensured a smooth check-in process. They kindly assigned us a delightful room (T3) and offered a complimentary glass of prosecco. The room itself was exceptional, exceeding our expectations. It was impeccably clean, spacious, and featured a comfortable, large bed. Bathrobes, slippers, and a complimentary bottle of red wine were also provided. Breakfast each morning was delightful, offering a selection of cold continental and hot cooked food (sausage, bacon, eggs, etc.) to suit every taste. We had absolutely no complaints whatsoever and would definitely return on our next visit to Prague. We would also gladly recommend it.

We stayed here for several nights on holiday. If you like peace & quiet, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. There was loud construction outside starting very in the morning. In the evenings you're serenaded by drunks returning from the bars. The bed is as hard as a slab of concrete. Only plus is the breakfast buffet.

The location is unreal. Parking is a little pricey, and theres minor construction going on out front. The staff set us up with excursioms and rides. The gentleman in the lobby front desk was stellar. The rooms are decent, but the locatiom makes up for it. Great hotel overall!
