So friendly staff! They worked hard to satisfy us, and they relay made it. Nice little bar and fantastic good Hungarian food.||Very clean and tidy rooms. Nice beds.||Close to the lake and everything. Beautiful walks around the town.||And if you can and will take a massage. The massage is the best I ever had.

I have not stayed in the hotel, but had dinner here several times. The hotel is in the old town of the city, charming, calm and clean. The whole street, the park behind, and this building as well takes you to a time journey back to the 1900's. The food was the best we had in Balatonfüred, the kitchen is rather traditional, the portions are huge, enough for 2 people, but tasty and nicely served. The staff is professional and friendly, we felt to be welcomed and comfortable. They let you sit as long as you wish, they are not pushy, not present all the time, and still you do not have to wait long if you want to reorder or pay.

We really loved the hotel! Although the rooms are quite small they really have everything necessary. The WiFi did not work properly and TV has no English channels (as everywhere in the country) but staff and restaurant´s quality (it was pouring rain so we did not want to go anywhere...) really make up those small things! Restaurant was acutally really-really good - one of the best food during our stay in Hungary. Also the breakfast was really good - wide selection and everything really delicious. Both, the hotel and restaurant, really worth the price, Definitely we reccomend!

My family stayed at Hotel Blaha Lujza for two nights in mid-June. It is a very small, old hotel but our experience was great! The rooms are tiny, but very clean and the ones we were in had great natural light and air conditioning. We got the sense it was a family run hotel and they tried very hard to make our experience enjoyable. We were a little nervous when we checked in, the hotel is old, rooms were quite small (in the twin room there is not much more room than the bed and desk) and felt empty because we came before peak season. We were pleasantly surprised! The service was great, the staff didn't speak much English, but were very happy to help when our AC wasn't working. They provided a lovely breakfast buffet in the dining room each morning and you can eat outside and enjoy the weather. The location is great! Very close proximity to the water and the row of restaurants, cafes, etc. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for something luxurious and want to spend a lot of time in your room, but if you just would like a place to sleep for a cheap price this hotel is great!

We had three nights in this hotel at a very hot time of year.||||The hotel is lovely, and definitely has the most character of the hotels in Fured we looked at. Reception were polite and helpful (both in Hungarian and English), and immediately brought extra pillows to the room on request.||||Our room was quite small, but not tiny - so quite functional for three nights. The room itself was a little dated, but was well presented and charming.||||Breakfast was delicious, with lots of fresh food and friendly service.||||Being a couple of minutes to the waterfront means it is a bit quieter than most of the other hotels and therefore we had no issue with mozzies.||||One drawback was the lack of aircon - there was a portable unit put in our room but it wasn't very effective, so we had to open the balcony doors.||||Overall this is a great hotel with a bit of character (and a fantastic wine bar opposite!) and well worth considering.

I stayed here for one night as the other pension I was staying at was full. I only needed a single room so that is why I was able to get a room during their busiest season. The room had one twin bed and was very, very small. I still had a pleasant sleep. There was no a/c but I was thankful for the fan in the room. The breakfast was excellent and offered many choices. The location is nice, close to the lake but yet in an area where it feels peaceful and not crowded. The staff at the hotel were friendly.
