Hotel Bleecker

Excellent apartment. Great staff. They were really attentive when required. We used public transport only during our week. Bloemendaal station is a 10 minute walk away and has great connections to Haarlem (4mins) and Amsterdam (20mins).. To Zandvoort beech there is a 20 minute walk to Overveen. The beech is great and the F1 track is free to wander around. Bloemendaal itself is a very relaxed quiet area, with good cafes, bakery’s and a supermarket. Ps the stairs are steep… I’m over 50 and coped really well. Would recommend if you are self catering and need a quiet base…. PPS try the Krocketts!|PPPS. Buy train tickets via the NS app and save 1.5 euros per ticket… PPPPS. Ubers best value to and from the airport to the apartment… apologies for misspelling and town names.

A beautiful, tranquil room, which was a pleasure to relax in. Everything was high quality and stylish. The best thing was the opening of large doors and the view into wall of greenery. We loved the cycling and wished we'd stayed longer then one night to explore walking trails. Not impressed with local restaurants.

The hotel is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and the rooms were large and airy. Check in was easy and very friendly. It would be a great hotel were it not for a few things. Firstly, the hard floors in the room just make noise travel downstairs. We were woken up on both nights by the room above walking around after midnight. Carpeting or rugs would be better. The hotel is advertised as having parking but it doesn't, there's paying on street parking or you have to take your chances in side streets. Very disappointed by this. The reception hours are very limited, seems 8am till 6pm on weekdays and nobody was there are at 8.45am on Saturday morning. This is pretty poor if you have a basic query. Finally, the towels were tatty with holes in and the lighting of the bathroom was dark and hard to work out. Could be a great hotel, just needs some tweaks and more thought given to things.

Location within Bloemendaal is good and a nice spot from which to explore the beach, the national park, Harleem and, if you like, Amsterdam, if you want to escape the busyness. Staff were great, no issues there. Room was clean, suitably presented and straightforward. Could have done with more comfortable pillows and the breakfast could have been far better. The standard room lacked character and had a view of a side path. Room was also dark but we knew what we were getting.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Location is perfect. Close to the beach/dunes area and close to Haarlem city as well. Although the hotel doesn’t offer car parking, it’s normal not issue to find a spot in one of the streets nearby. Nice local places to eat in the same street. The breakfast (not included) is excellent. I had the studio with my 2 kids, which gives you plenty of space. Would definitely recommend this place

Fantastic hotel in Bloemendaal. We had the business suite (upgrade) and it was just great. The suite was really spacious with both a seating and sleeping area. Beds were extremely comfortable and longer than average. Also the bathroom was large with a very deep bathtub (large enough for two) and a separate rain shower. We ordered breakfast and found the bread and croissant somewhat old. Since this is a small hotel the turnaround of these products might be little slow.

We (1 adult, 2 kids) had the suite one the ground floor. Excellent room for 3 people. Even space for a comfortable couch. Well equipped with shower and bath and mini kitchen! Only small remark is about the back yard. Removing the weeds would make it even better!

This hotel is not only located in a gorgeous neighborhood but is just lovely inside and out. The room was large and comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Wish we had more than one night to enjoy it. Would definitely stay here again!
