Hotel Bleibtreu Berlin by Golden Tulip

Had a great stay, i get what people mean about the rooms not being 4 star worthy. Yet i really liked it. It felt like a home. Felt really safe and the location is perfect. The staff was really sweet and helpfull. Will stay here again for sure!

You can tell this place is definitely older when it comes to the facilities. The rooms are modest but clean, and for the price and the location it was a very nice stay! About 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station, and in a nice area. The staff at the desk were always very pleasant. I do recommend.

Though I had asked for a non smoker room, the room that I was given had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Room was otherwise clean and convenient. Staff are very friendly.

Took a trip here with a friend and the hotel was great! Great location, friendly staff and breakfast options were endless. Definitely will stay again if visiting Berlin. Had a medical emergency where a q-tip got stuck in my ear, the receptionist got me an appointment within the hour to sort it out. Cannot recommend them enough! Great customer service!!!

This hotel is more a 2-3 stars than a 4. The decoration looks like 70's, the Walls are dirty, there is carpet on the floor which is really non hygienic+ its dirty. The bathroom is terrible, when you shower the water gets everywhere on the toilet/floor because you have only a weird cotton sheet to separate the shower Space. We first got the smallest room ever, dirty Walls, ugly decoration, weird light set impossible to turn on with the old switch... Small shower towels, minibar empty and disconnected (not even a bottle of water). We spoke to the réception and he instantly upgrade Our room for the biggest and the best of the hôtel (which is why i give 2 stars and Not 1) There is SPA wellness but it was close, anyway it was Looking very bad also But the room was just Bigger, it was the same catastrophy... We are really disapponted for the Price we payed having 4 stars experience expectations.

Unfortunately, I noticed a mistake in my recent booking. I intended to reserve the accommodation from May 16, 2024, to May 22, 2024. However, the booking was mistakenly made for the period from April 16, 2024, to April 22, 2024. I discovered this on the third day when my false reservation was already active. Firstly, no one from the hotel contacted me to inquire why we hadn't checked in, or when we would, or if we would at all. When my wife called the hotel to inquire about our options and the possibility of adjusting the dates to align with our original plans, the response was indifferent. They simply stated that it wasn't their problem. Additionally, no one offered to rebook for the correct dates; the conversation ended abruptly. While I understand that the mistake with the dates was mine, and it's reasonable for the hotel to be unable to adjust them, I found the communication lacking in customer orientation. This is unfortunate because the hotel is in a good location, and we would have liked to stay there with our baby. However, such communication has deterred us from wanting to stay there.

The experience overall was ok. However, when I arrived the receptionist couldn't find my booking and initially stated that I had to find somewhere else, after I spoke on the phone with his manager that proposed me to get a room and pay for it. Finally after 1 hour and a half of discussion they gave me a room for the night, which I had to leave first thing in the morning. The next morning when I went downstairs, they said that they found my booking and gave me a new room. In any hotel I've been to, when they create some sort of issues they usually give you a compensation, but in this case nothing. I'm very unhappy about the overall experience.

We were at the Hotel Bleibtreu for the first time and stayed a total of seven nights. No tea, coffee making facilities and empty minibar. Nevertheless, the staff welcomed and accompanied us in a very friendly, open, helpful and humorous manner. Thanks for that, it was really wonderful and one of the highlights in recent years and compared to other hotels. Was a great experience.
