Hotel Boboty

In the hotel we spent 5 nights and it was our starting point for beautiful hikes in the Malá Fatra Mountains. That is the charming location of the hotel on a quiet sunny slope under the rocky massif of Boboty what its greatest asset is. After returning from the hike we always fully enjoyed the peace and quiet only disturbed by the sound of bells of grazing sheep, and from the balcony of our room, we still admired the panorama of the surrounding mountains. The hotel itself is rather older and some parts would need renovation, but still at a decent level and corresponds to the 3* classification. Rooms are spacious, equipped with new furniture, on the south side with a balcony. The bathrooms are also ok, with a bath, unfortunately there is no hairdryer. The restaurant offers plenty of table seats, but above all a splendid view over the glass wall. So breakfast with morning sunshine and mountain views is unforgettable. Breakfast was buffet style, nothing special but a good selection, sausages, bacon, eggs, ham, cheese, and yoghurt. Dinner was a choice of three meals, the food was good, but we expected much more regional dishes. There is also a swimming pool in the hotel, unfortunately we did not use it. Parking at the hotel is no problem, there is enough space. Despite my little remarks I can recommend the hotel for a multi-day stay.

An excellent location in the mountains, very close proximity to skiing activities and free outdoors parking. The food is also quite good, half-board has a lot of options for breakfast and dinner, which alternate daily. Plenty of activities in the premises, eg. table football, pool, billiards, sauna, fitness & bowling. Now onto the bad stuff. The hotel is visibly run down, furniture, carpetry, and decorations from the 80s. The carpet in our room had a huge hole, and the sofa had black dog paw marks and was visibly stained. Cleanliness is not a focus area here, our room was not cleaned for 2 consecutive days and we had to ask for new towels twice until someone actually made an effort to bring us some. A pity for such a beautiful area, which definitely doesn't correspond to the room prices either.

It is a great place to stay for any kind of tourist (families, pairs, singles). A bit far from Terchová, but you can use train going between Terchová and hotel in case you have no car.||It is as well starting point for an amazing hike in favorite Janosik´s Holes. ||Ladies at the reception are very friendly and willing to help with any query. ||You can use swiming pool open untin 21:00 in the basement, or ping pong table in a fitness room. Also table football and pool is available. ||There is a nice spacious terrace with amazing green view of surrounding hills. There is a children´s play are next to terrace so kids can have fun while parents are chatting and enjoying.||Breakfasts are diverse. Many options there, everything ready from 7:30 (always on time).||Rooms were clean, bathroom nicely reconstructed.||I would stay it is Slovakian standard stay, nothing fancy but you find everything practical you need, it is great location and deffinitely worth for money.

Location is good but the hotel is not old and dirty , I never recommend staying there. Never again

Staying for a week with a family, gorgeous view of mountain, hotel staffs are very nice, foods serve buffet are delicious, very close to all tourist spot. We enjoyed staying here. Definitely we're coming back. greetings from Ohio, USA

Let’s start with the the good things... the views are breathtakingly beautiful. Good pool, again with great views. It’s a good starting point for hiking. I think it’s worth paying the extra 10e for the comfort room - it’s bigger and has the mountain view. Food at breakfast was plentiful but very average. Bed was quite comfy. Now the things that were not so great. A huge hole in the carpet. Annoying radio playing from 7am every morning that we could hear even through closed windows. Everything is quite run down. Horrible coffee at breakfast. The staff. Rude waiters. And if you cannot locate the receptionist for 15min she will be probably busy eating cake next to the restaurant and she will be extremely annoyed that you want to order dinner. To be fair - we interacted with 4 receptionists and 2 of them were very helpful. When checking out, please check your invoice - they wanted to charge us 2 extra dinners and drinks we didn’t have (this was sorted out quickly). I think this hotel is overpriced for what you get.

We enjoyed the stay there so much. The food is excellent, rooms are clean, carpets on the floor everywhere so it is so silent. Staff is helpfull and kind. The pool and the bowling track gave us so much happy hours after all day skiing.
