Hotel Bohinj

Nicely appointed, ski-chalet type of sporty hotel. Room was nice. Breakfast buffet was standard for this type of hotel and perfectly good. Great location for outdoor activities. The spa was a bit small for the number of people seeking to use it. Staff seemed tired of being very friendly to guests (it was mid-September so perhaps understandable). Still a good choice if you want to stay in this area.

4 night stay in September. Quirky hotel with plenty of indoor and outside space. Excellent spa and thanks to Petra and Neza who were always pleasant and understanding as I kept changing spa bookings! One day was a wash out and the spa very busy but still comfortable due to the 20 person limit. 2 meals in the restaurant, excellent food but service on the first night was slow after a large group arrived but was good the second time. All staff very pleasant. Rooms nice but the swinging glass door is a little strange leading to the bathroom. Nearly marked as 4 rather than 5 stars as our room 218 was directly above the restaurant where due to tiled floor and wooden chairs every move of a chair could be heard. This was especially bad around 2230hrs when they were setting up for breakfast. Complained to reception who stated they would discuss with the staff and to be fair the next evening there was no issue. I see this has been mentioned on previous reviews so disappointing it has not been sorted - just avoid rooms 217-220. Otherwise an excellent hotel

Beautiful hotel with a great location. Breakfast was a nice spread with lots of local options. Each night had a 2 hour access to the saunas which was a nice relaxation. Rooms had a pillow menu that was a fantastic option. We had the comfort double w a balcony which was a large room. There is also nice lawn seating for drinks overlooking the mountains.

We had a large and comfortable room on the first floor, overlooking the garden. We couldn’t see the lake as there were trees in the way, but we could see the cute church and mountains. The larch cladding in the hotel gives it a cool ski hotel vibe. The big fire pit in the garden each evening was a nice touch. Breakfast was generally good, although no means of toasting bread and some fruit was unripe. Lovely bread and honey though. Dinner at the hotel was some and some. We enjoyed the spa facilities. Overall a great stay in a gorgeous part of Slovenia.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Bohinj. The service was absolutely top notch and the breakfast was outstanding. Only food for thought would be to have add a more cosy common area with a fireplace that people could gather around in the winter with a drink. Other than that, everything was perfect :).

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in late May 2025. The location was great and the service level was excellent. Our room was clean, comfortable, and blended well with the surrounding environment. The breakfast was really good as well as the restaurant for dinner. The staff were accommodating and helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful hotel - appreciate the wooden design and the wonderful 4 men logo throughout. Very kind helpful staff. As an eco hotel, please expand your vegetarian options - we stayed for 8 nights. Breakfast was superb but for lunch/dinner a vegetarian runs out of options fast and for a sustainable future, we all need to eat less meat. We hope to come again. ♥️

Is a really cool chic hotel where the design is well thought. The room unfortunately if they have a day curtain will be much better. I've to close it all the time as it only has a blackout curtain else I'll be exposed. Bathroom is quite small but easy to function. They did not provide body lotion which will be great if they do. Some rooms have a bike and sand-bag weights - put it in request if you would like these exercise equipment in the room! |Spa area needs to book and only outdoor jacuzzi you can wear your swim wear else the steam and sauna are compulsory naked :)|Breakfast spread is beautifully spread out though their cakes section are not very delicious. Only brownie taste good. Location is great as it is near many resto just walking distance. Worth coming to check this place out!
