Hotel Boka

Mixed feelings about this hotel during our stay in Slovenia and having been guests in different hotels in our journey. Great location, very friendly and helpfull staff and a great breakfast but our room when moving in was not clean ... For example, we found a bathing suit from the previous guests in the bathroom, the tap in the bathroom was dirty with greasy fingerprints and there was a strange and very visible stain on 1 of the bathroom walls. We did not feel comfortable.

We had a great stay at Boka. As we wished for we got a room at the top floor. First they upgraded us to a family room, which did not have the best view. But we asked for another room and it was no problem to change. Our room was nice and quiet and with the best soca view, even though we had no Minibar. The staff was wonderful. We also liked the breakfast. Great starting point for different activities!

Such a lovely Alpine-style hotel. Stayed there for one night. The hostess is very friendly. The room is quite spacious. Sleep was very good. The breakfast was delightful, the eggs were served beautifully. The only downside could be rooms facing road as the noise could interfere.

We stayed there for one night, but it was great. The hotel is very well located, has a lovely view, and it’s so easy to reach the Boka waterfall. A 15-minute walk will get you to the first viewpoint. We had dinner at the hotel, and it was simply amazing. That day, they served a fixed menu, which was delicious. Three starters with ingredients from the region, three main options so that we could choose, and finally, a surprise dessert. We tried three different wines, and all of them were really nice. The best part is the service. The staff really makes an effort to take care of you, and they are very friendly and attentive. We wish we had planned more nights there ⭐️

Hotel Boka was the perfect stay for our time in Bovec! If you have a car, the distance to town is perfect, about a 5 min drive. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are spacious, and breakfast is delicious.

We're staying for one night only as we travel through, but this place is simply amazing. The view to the mountains and the Soca river is breathtaking, the interiors are very tasteful and elegant, and the dinner was simply out of this world!

My experience at Boka Forest Bistro was hands down one of the worst I’ve ever had at any restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with shocking rudeness and hostility. What should have been a pleasant dining experience turned into an uncomfortable ordeal due to the incredibly unprofessional behavior of the the person who appeared to be the boss or manager. This individual was abrupt, aggressive, and completely lacking in basic courtesy. Rather than offering hospitality, they delivered an attitude that was dismissive, rude, and, frankly, appalling. I have never encountered such an openly hostile and unpleasant manner from someone in a position of leadership in hospitality. We left the restaurant feeling disrespected and deeply disappointed. There is no excuse for treating guests in such a demeaning way. There are many wonderful places to eat in the area—this is absolutely not one of them. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere where guests are treated with even a minimum level of respect and professionalism.

We didn’t have a Mountain View room but sat on the veranda on the comfortable chairs with a book. Bliss. The breakfast was excellent. Continental plus eggs.
