Nice hotel, great staff, great breakfast, room a little dark and dated.||We did have a nice stay for 2 nights.||Air conditioner was broken, but they fixed it right away. ||Great location for the train station and not too far from attractions and airport. ||It is a nice hotel overall, but 2 nights was enough as is in a quiet area of town and room was a little dark (no windows). The reception area was lovely. ||Breakfast was nice, but they started packing up around 10:30am, but the breakfast didn’t finish until 11!

Stayed here for 2 nights after a wonderful week in a villa a couple of hours from Pisa. Got to say our experience was excellent from the airport pick up to the perfect location cleanliness of the hotel & amazing choice at breakfast. Yes the rooms are a little dated & air conditioning a bit hit & miss but our overall impression was spot on & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. By the way despite lots of warnings about Pisa not being great we thoroughly enjoyed the city too!!

Beautiful small hotel. We had the family room, which was cozy but had enough room for 4 of us. It had a nice small balcony to sit outside. There was no lock to the bathroom which was a bit of inconvenience hence only 4 star to the room. The breakfast was really good. Mouth watering bakery items. So fresh and yummy. Loved the pistachio croissant. Staff were polite and helpful. Location was in the centre of the city and within walking distance to leaning tower of Pisa and shopping street. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location- away from the main hustle and bustle but a short walk from the main attractions and the train station.||Staff were friendly and welcoming. We were given a map on arrival which was explained by the receptionist. ||Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice including toast, bacon, scrambled egg, yoghurt, fruit and a selection of pastries. ||Beds were comfy and there were slippers in the room. The room was quite dated but very clean. ||Overall a pleasant stay and great value for money.

The hotel was a short walk from the train station. Approximately eight minutes. Upon arrival, the staff couldn’t be more helpful. They helped us with finding restaurants nearby as it was late and we were hungry. Even going out of their way to make a phone call to make sure the restaurant was still open. They were also very helpful with directing us on which way to go to get to the leaning tower.||The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The shower was bigger than normal for Europe. We were in room 11. Breakfast was included and was a breakfast of champions. Everything from scrambled eggs to all sorts of delightful and different flavored croissants. Juices, cappuccinos, lattes, etc.. Also a tasty assortment of Italian cold cuts and cheeses.||In the back above a carport was a lovely outdoor sitting area. Very private, as it was on the backside of the hotel. There were tables and chairs and plenty of umbrellas to keep the sun off. We enjoyed sitting there at night after a fun full day of walking all over Pisa.

I needed somewhere safe, clean, central and inexpensive to say in Pisa for one night. I was travelling alone. A ten minute walk from the main station the hotel was perfect for my needs. The staff were friendly and obliging and the breakfast was wonderful. A full spread of mainly cold dishes but there were scrambled eggs. The selection of pastries was amazing. I booked through booking.com and would definitely recommend. Fresh towels and bathroom products provided. Bed was very comfortable.

Had a fabulous stay at this hotel, great location for walking access to all the sights and also the train station is a 8 minute walk and so easy to find. It is located in a nice quiet side street so very peaceful. All the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is plenty for breakfast the only thing for me, which is purely a personal preference, it would be nice to also have yogurt available as there was always a lovely selection of fresh fruit.|The bedroom was large and very comfortable.|I would not hesitate in staying there again as it totally suited our needs in every way.

We just checked in for a three-night stay at Hotel Bologna in Pisa, and I honestly can’t imagine how this place is rated four stars or has so many positive reviews. The cleanliness is absolutely unacceptable: there were boogers on the kids’ walls, visible screws sticking out of the headboards, broken tiles in the bathroom, and hair all over the floor that clearly hasn’t been swept in months.||I fully admit I’m viewing this through my American perspective, but this is the third hotel we’ve stayed at during our trip to Italy, and it is by far the worst. Compared to the others, Hotel Bologna feels more like a one-star motel than a four-star hotel.||This hotel completely ruined our first impression of Pisa. When I explained all these issues to the front desk, they simply apologized that the room didn’t meet my “standards”, but did absolutely nothing to resolve the problems.||Please do yourself a favor and do not book a stay at Hotel Bologna in Pisa. There are much better options in the area that will actually live up to their ratings and help you enjoy your trip.

Yelp
Nice place with friendly staff and all the necessary comforts plus some higher grade amenities, like airport shuttle, nice breakfast spread, well-functioning air conditioning, mini fridge, etc. Well located near to but not right in middle of Pisa's busy tourist zone. Room was small but so was price. I'd return without hesitation.
