Nothing negative but it could be better. The room is good size but the a/c a bit weak. The bathroom could use a remodel but it worked fine for me. The parking is great and the location right by the river in the beginning of the restricted area. Breakfast pretty good but I never got an espresso since their machine was not working.

We loved the location, in the old part of town about 10mins walk from the train station. A short walk across the river took us into the lovely historic quarter and a little further on to the Leaning Tower. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had a standard room which was plain & simple but comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel offered a great shuttle service to the airport which cost 15 euros for 2 of us. We would stay here again.

This may be a 4* by Italian standards but do not expect it to match a British 4*. |Alarm bells immediately rang when we noticed plug in air fresheners in the room. |Rooms were very dated, toilet seat was loose, toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall, and the tiniest corner shower (water was lovely and hot though). Our main gripes though were with the bed which was embarrassingly noisy with creaking springs. Hands down the worst nights sleep I’ve ever had. Also there was just a top sheet and a decorative throw which clearly hadn’t been washed between guests as it smelled musty and of someone’s aftershave. The blanket in the cupboard also smelled musty (and looked 30 years old judging by all the bobbling) and we were not inclined to use it. This meant we slept using just the top sheet, which was ok as it was still quite warm but if it was cooler it would have been a problem.|Evening meal in the restaurant was also a major disappointment with the pizza being horribly overproved, it was thick, tasteless and virtually impossible to cut. My husband left over 3/4 of it but the waitress just whisked it away without so much as a ‘was everything ok.’ We were just too dog tired to complain and being the last day of our European holiday just wanted to sleep (ha!) before our early flight back the next morning,|Positives: transfer to the airport was €7.50 each and saved us dragging our cases to the train station. Location was also good. Breakfast was by far the best part of our stay with wonderful fresh pastries (possibly the best chocolate croissant I’ve ever had).|There is a distinct lack of good hotels in Pisa, this looked to be among the best, so I would strongly recommend staying somewhere like Florence and taking a day trip in.

A ten minute walk from the train station (or 15 minute taxi from Pisa Airport), this hotel is in the older part of the city in a quiet side street. Our single rooms were a little small but comfortable, very clean and quiet. Reception staff were excellent and the breakfast was pretty good. It was also very good value for money. ||In a parallel street, there are lots of shops and cafes and, just across the river, many restaurants and the very lively student area.||If you have time, visit the Pisa Walls. Access is at 4 points and costs 5 Euros but you'll get the best possible views of Pisa!

We have just returned from a 3 night stay, we were in room 306, which was spotlessly clean, comfortable if a little dated. The whole hotel is very well looked after and the staff are very polite and helpful. We contacted the hotel before our stay and arranged to use the shuttle service, which was great, we were picked up in the hotel minivan. On leaving this morning there was rain and a storm, the shuttle was running late, no problem we were taken to the airport in the managers Audi to ensure we weren’t late! We had breakfast on a couple of the mornings and found there to be a good selection of food, the dining room is quite small for the number of guests and had to ask somebody to get up so I could leave the table. We didn’t eat an evening meal but saw that the menu looked reasonable. The hotel is in a great location, near to shops and restaurants and easy to cross the bridge to visit the tower and many shops and eateries. The station is a 10 minute walk and we visited Florence and Lucca during our stay. This hotel was a good base for us and we would recommend it.

Stayed at Hotel Bologna in Pisa and really enjoyed it. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the train station, shops, and about 10–15 minutes to the Leaning Tower. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, though a bit of street noise can be heard. Breakfast in the courtyard was a nice touch, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a great value stay if you want a central base in Pisa.

This is the third time I’ve stayed at this hotel / each time for one night before a flight out of Pisa airport. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. The room was spotless (a double) and very quiet. At breakfast there is a good range of foods on offer. The hotel also runs a shuttle to the airport (there is a small charge). I’ve used this each time I stayed as it’s far easier than walking to the station (10/15 minutes) and then. Getting on the rail connection to the airport.|There are a few restaurants in the immediate area. If it’s pizza you’re after go to pizza da Toni - about 10 minutes walk.

We just had the one night in the hotel before our flight home but would happily stayed longer if we had the opportunity. Staff were friendly, efficient and friendly. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

Yelp
Nice place with friendly staff and all the necessary comforts plus some higher grade amenities, like airport shuttle, nice breakfast spread, well-functioning air conditioning, mini fridge, etc. Well located near to but not right in middle of Pisa's busy tourist zone. Room was small but so was price. I'd return without hesitation.
