Hotel Bologna

We were at this hotel 3 night in February.|The best advantage of this hotel is its location, near the central station, centre of city, and important attractions like pisa tower( just 15 minutes walking to pisa tower. 5 minutes to central station)|Room was very clean, big enough. But it is not soundproof at all and noise comes from the rooms above or nearby.|Breakfast was excellent. Great variety of croissants and Italian pastries. Eggs and sausage and fruit. A true Italian breakfast experience.

Hotel Bologna was just perfect! It has a great location—only a 15-minute walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, 5 minutes to the main shopping street, and 15 minutes to the central station. The rooms were spacious and super clean. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and of excellent quality, with great service—they replenished everything quickly. Plus, there was a coffee machine and fresh orange juice, which was a nice touch. Highly recommend!

The hotel is classic, but maybe a bit dated? However, it has a lot of old school charm. The bed in my single room could’ve been more comfortable, but the room was good size and had everything I needed (fridge, complete bathroom, big window, desk, slippers, extra blanket, etc.). The staff were absolutely wonderful & welcoming! The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a while- it had a great spread of pastries (croissants and cakes), congenital options (many cheese & charcuterie options), different types of eggs, FRESH orange juice, and I really appreciate their yogurt station with a refillable jam station (less plastic waste!!). The location is good as it’s walkable to the city center, but not too touristy. Overall a good stay!

Well, these two receptionists were polite people. And breakfast is all right. However, place could be more elite for four stars because it's associative with two by facility and just showerhead in bathroom. I also wasn't glad to see a black long hair under bed's sheet.

The hotel is in the city center in the area of the limited traffic so if you are comming by car you will have to give your licence plate at the reception. There is a small parking available (15 EUR per night). We stayed in this hotel for one night in the spacious triple room. Everything was clean and the room was warm and cosy. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, various and fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful, they even helped us with car problem. Thank you! Hope to come again!

I've stayed here for 2 nights in November 2024. Good things: + Staff is very friendly and helpful + Hotel has parking + Shower has good pressure and hot water instantly + Free bottled water in the room Things to work on: - Pillows. Guys, just buy normal pillows please. It's 2024 outside. - Bed. Bed (in single room) was squeaky. - Breakfast. Breakfast was simple, choice is not great. Bacon was abysmal. Overall single room was one of the smallest I've ever seen. Feeling was not cozy - constant noise from the street, even at night, and sound isolation from other rooms is poor. Location is good. I've put 3 stars, but it's closed to 2.5 stars out of 5.

Hotel is very well located in the centre of authentic, charming Pisa. Close to the major sites as well as the train station.|Breakfast features fresh orange juice (a rarity), real coffee and excellent bread and cold cuts in buffet style.|The staff was efficient and cordial.|The rooms were clean and functional but stuck in 70s, when Italy was a fast changing society under pressure from the Red Birgades as well as right wing terrorism. Italo singer songwriters were at their height. I felt this vibe in this hotel with its dated decorations. But as I mentioned, it was fine. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm and the water pressure was high. Only bad part was sometimes the aqua suddenly got cold or hot!|

Lovely, quiet, comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Minutes walk to restaurants and shops and sights. Room is clean. Bathroom has plenty of plush towels, washcloths and hand towels. Excellent WiFi. Ample, delicious breakfast with many choices and to-order espresso coffee. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Nice place with friendly staff and all the necessary comforts plus some higher grade amenities, like airport shuttle, nice breakfast spread, well-functioning air conditioning, mini fridge, etc. Well located near to but not right in middle of Pisa's busy tourist zone. Room was small but so was price. I'd return without hesitation.
