I must say that we did not see anyone of the staff, there wasn't new soap (the soap was already used by someone before us). The location is very central, but the hygiene is very low.

My husband and I were fortunate to stay here for part of our honeymoon and were so pleased. Lovely rooms right in the center of Pau and in walking distance to everything. What truly sets this place apart is the hospitality and kindness of the owners. Such wonderful people who made our stay magical. The breakfast had incredible quality and variety. Rooms are well put together. We will always stay at the Hotel Bosquet when visiting Pau due to their amazing staff.

I always try to think what more could I have expected...... and for a two star hotel this place is pretty good. Location is great and the staff could not be better. My Comfort room was small but did the job apart from air conditioning which just didn't work well enough. Breakfast is 8 Euros - may be worth going elsewhere - but it's easy. All in all I'd recommend, provided you want a straightforward, functional place to stay.

This is a very nice hotel in the middle of Pau, with an excellent location. You are close to all the main historical sites and many restaurants and bars. In addition, the staff are excellent. Always willing to offer a friendly suggestion and to help you find anything in the area. Other than that, however, the hotel itself is average. Clean and well-maintained, and there is even an elevator. The rooms are light and cheery, but....in this day and age it needs more places to plug in all the rechargeable devices we all have. Maybe should be 3 1/2 stars, if possible.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night, The hotel is located in the centre of Pau close to main sites and many restaurants. It is run by a family who are very friendly. Breakfast is better than what I expected and is very good for this hotel category. In general I'd recommend this hotel but there are some small issues that could have improved much more our stay there:||- We visited it in Summer, it was too hot and they turn off AC in the night. (It was July 2017 and it was a very hot summer, I am sure they usually might not need AC in summer but during the time of our visit we were very unfortunate). When you open the windows it gets noisy.||- It is very difficult to park close to the hotel, me and my wife had to carry two bags, our three years old daughter and 7 months baby for 0.5 Km distance which is not comfortable at all.||- Rooms are ok for 2 persons, not more.

Let me start by saying the location is great, the staff very, very, nice, the room small, but was quiet and clean, and the do take pets. The problem is the owners spend little money on basic hotel things like, mattresses, ours was cheap and hard despite the claims of the manager, pillows which felt as if filled with straw, bath towels cheaper than the cheapest you can find - rather like dish towels- and all important repairs. The shower was moldy and the faucet handle fell off when you used it and the elevator lurched menacingly when it stopped. Over all this was the worst hotel experience we've had in recent memory and at only a few € less than the far nicer Best Western around the corner. At € 40 I wouldn't complain but at what they charged it was a poor value.

No parking, can't get near the hotel in your car. Parking is a few blocks away in an underground parking garage. Can't access the hotel from your car, so that's a pain Hotel is close to everything; pedestrian only street it is on is a little scary, I would not want to be out on it after dark. Room was loud, and absolutely no view. Best thing about the hotel is the helpful front desk and how close it is to where you want to be,

The hotel is ideally situated and the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spotless and well equipped. The plus is a delicious breakfast with homemade cakes for a very reasonable price.
