Hotel Boutique Cultura Manor by Café Cultura (Quito, Ecuador) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"This restored Republican-era manor in Quito's historic center operates as a private residence with guest rooms. Only a handful of suites occupy the property, each individually designed with Botticelli-inspired frescoes and explorer-themed murals that give the place an eccentric, almost dreamlike quality. The standout Eros Penthouse Suite features a pyramid-shaped wooden ceiling and a terrace overlooking the Gothic Saint Teresa Cathedral. Garden-facing rooms offer contemplative stays among lush surroundings. The emphasis here is on intimacy and character over standard luxury trappings: expect handcrafted details, commissioned art, and the kind of personalized attention that comes with truly small-scale hospitality." - Tablet Hotels

Super-cute luxury hotel in a great location. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. I really liked all the lounge space (three separate beautifully decorated sitting rooms). The all-day coffee, tea, and fruit were also great - especially for jet-lagged guests. My minor complaints are a bit of noise (but the whole city is kind of noisy) and a large obnoxious group event - but these aren't the fault of the hotel.

It’s 1:00am on a Friday night and there is a bar nearby that has the music so loud I can’t sleep. In the morning the trucks honk as early as 6am and the church bells ring at 7am. If you want a peaceful night’s sleep, this is not the place. If you don’t care and you want something centrally located, then this would work for you. The staff is extremely nice. The decoration is an attempt at colonial, but has some 80’s style furniture which is super ugly- in my opinion. This could be a top notch boutique hotel, but it needs a lot of work. Hoping I could get some sleep tonight…

We arrived really late. We hired a car from the airport. It came out to be $40. The hotel was very quiet. They gave us a room in the main building(an upgrade). The room was huge and the ceiling was so high. The hotel is very cool. The owner who is also an architect restored the hotel nicely. They serve good food and many locals were there. We also tried lunch for $10 and included soup, main dish, desert, juice and coffee. It is also located close to the artesenal market. Will be back.

The hotel was so charming, cozy and romantic! It's like staying in a little palace. Our room was gigantic, the breakfasts were lovely and the staff helpful and friendly. The decor is fabulous, designed by someone with great care. Will always stay here when visiting Quito.

Charming Stay at Café Cultura – A Hidden Gem! I had the best experience staying at Café Cultura in Ecuador. This hotel is beyond adorable, with beautiful paintings on the walls and the cutest decor that makes the whole place feel warm and artistic. It’s full of personality and charm. One of the highlights was the owner… he’s always around and super personable, making sure everyone feels right at home. You can really tell he cares about every guest’s experience. And let me just say…the beds in the main house are insanely comfortable. Seriously, the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. I didn’t want to get up in the morning! If you’re looking for a cozy, unique spot with tons of character and heart, Café Cultura is the place.

Lovely boutique hotel stay, the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I were both ill during our stay and they did everything they could to help us. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit and eggs. The hotel was very safe as there’s someone always at the door.

This hotel combine luxury, culture, and cozy all together in a perfect combination. We have traveled all over the world and this is one of our top places to stay just by the pure attention to detail they have on the decor. The staff is sweet and friendly. We stayed in the Athena room.
