The hotel is in a great location. Close to great restaurants and Playa Chahue beach. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to your requests.

We stayed at Eden Costa from Thursday to Sunday. They first put us in a room with one full bed but we booked for two beds. The rooms with one bed seemed to be newer than the suite with two beds, but regardless the two bed suite was spacious and clean. It faced the front street but it was very quiet at night and even during the day. The room/bathroom could use a few updates (like an extra robe hook in the bathroom, small shelf in shower for toiletries, small shelf by the sink) but overall was a very pleasant stay and conveniently located. You can just cross the main street to go to Chahue beach and Chahue Beach Club. Front desk can call a cab for you and they show up in less than 5 minutes. The restaurant was a true gem and service was great. Would definitely stay at Eden Costa again.

The beds are like trying to sleep on a concrete slab. Not only can you feel every single metal coil, it’s rock solid. We’re supposed to be here 8 nights, there is no way our backs will last. Staff is friendly, but not much they can do. Was really looking forward to relaxing, now we’re scrambling to locate a hotel with comfortable beds.

Very nice, small hotel, lovely pool; we were there for 6 weeks. Unfortunately, communication was a bit difficult because only one staff member had some English, and we only have a little Spanish. As in a lot of small accommodations, things were constantly being slowly upgraded, but we were not informed that there were going to be workmen right outside our kitchen/living room and bathroom window for the first few days, with dust, noise, and lack of privacy. The hot water kept not working, so they upgraded the hot water system. However it was not communicated to us, and we were without any wayer at all. The staff were kind, but not able to really help. Our air-conditioning started leaking in the livingroom, and even though we let them know, we had the last week and a half with water running down the wall and onto the floor. They finally gave us a bucket and towels for the floor. They tried but were unable to communicate to us when a technician would come. As I said, no one came to fix it. It still worked, so we were able to use it, but it was quite a frustrating experience.

We spent 2 weeks in this quaint property. The mattress was of typical Mexican quality, very hard. We suggested screens for the patio door, to avoid bugs and critters in the room. AC was not top notch, but provided some relief to cool down the room. ||Restaurant was good, very good service and presentation was excellent. They offer entertainment a couple nights a week which is great. ||Staff was extremely friendly and personable. Jeffe at the front desk was outstanding. Alma cleaned rooms and did an amazing job, very hard worker. ||My recommendations include: better mattresses, screens on patio doors and offering poolside drink service. ||The new owner is making changes, we saw new artwork, some gardening cleanup. ||Pool needs major work and I did not like the grass / dirt that circled around the pool. ||Location is excellent. Couldn't ask for better. ||Although there were some issues, I firmly believe they are going to make a lot of changes that will very much enhance this beautiful little treasure.

Beautiful cozy hotel. Close to grocery store, restaurants and beach. Hotel has it's own restaurant and fruit in breakfast was fresh and delicious. They also have a butter with fruit and it was also great. Excellent customer service and loved the pool. Coming back next year.

We were able to make coffee and boiled eggs to start our day. A bonus for us, a slow start. The hotel is in a quiet location and very easy to catch a cab to local beaches. Or you can walk to Santa Cruz area and Central square. The pool was murky the whole time we were there. But we were all about the beaches so gave the pool a miss. The staff were excellent. The price was a little high considering the pool issue. Not having a safe is a big problem for most travellers.
