We were really satisfied, room was comfortable, patio with garden shower is a nice bonus in the heat of Seville. Only con is there was no fridge at the room. The staff was always helpful, they even prepared us breakfast package when we had to leave early for some trips.

We booked a Junior Suite with Terrace via TUI||I will start by saying the location is fantastic, and the view from our terrace was wonderful over the tree-filled square with the cathedral in the background. Nestled in the centre of the old town, the perfect place to explore the narrow streets and squares.||The staff were very friendly and eager to help where they could. For example, there were ants in the room from the terrace balcony. When we raised it, they sprayed the room, and the ants didn't return.||Now the niggles.||The bathroom door is frosted glass with no catch and designed to 'balance' at the mid-point, but it doesn't. This means that the door will swing open, which for some may be a problem, but a towel on the floor stops this. Additionally, because it is made from frosted glass, when the bathroom light goes on, it shines into the room.||The shower is over the bath, which does have a plug for the plughole; however, there are no taps to fill the bath, so it would have to be done using the shower. This, by the way, would be a long task as the water pressure is poor and decreases if you try to adjust the water temperature above tepid.||There is sufficient hanging space for 8 coat hangers, and it is of the open corner space design. This limits two people for 4 days. There is no drawer or cupboard space anywhere.||Despite repeated requests, we got 2 tea bags for the whole stay. Luckily, we always take our own coffee.||There is no fridge in the room.||No sunshade (or cushions) for the balcony furniture.||Breakfast is served in a nearby sister hotel and is small but adequate. There are a few idiosyncrasies to be aware of. Nestled (unmarked) amongst the cold meats are pots of fresh marmalade, nice but will fool the unsuspecting. Skillfully concealed (unlabelled) within the pastries is what at first glance could be a slice of, perhaps, an apple or almond tart. In fact, it is a Spanish omelette.|||TIPS||1 - Make sure you know exactly where the hotel is, as the taxis will take you near but then leave you with a vague wave of their hand in what they think is the direction of the hotel. Get the hotel to book you a car home, as the driver will collect your bag from the hotel; getting a taxi on the street isn't that easy.||2 - Take packing cubes, which at least will keep your underwear in one place.

The small hotel has an excellent location. However, room 106 is micro. The AC did not work all night and the small inner courtyard had no wind flow at all. We had a terrible first evening there. The AC is locked at 20 degrees and cannot set lower. Even at that temperature, it was HOT, HOT. There is no 24 hours front desk and have to go to Halo Hotel after hours if any issues. Staff is friendly , but the hotel issues surpass the location and friendliness. Pictures on site were taking by a wonderful photographer… rooms don’t look anything like pictures. |I would look for alternative hotels in the area… like HALO.

I would highly recommend staying here! The location is fantastic and it’s so easy to walk to the main attractions from here. The courtyard is beautiful and our room had an amazing balcony too.||The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They gave us some great tips about fun local places to check out that really made us have an incredible time on our honeymoon. I especially want to call out Joaquin who assisted us during check in and welcomed us with a funny and warm attitude. He gave us a few suggestions that really improved our experience. We can’t wait to get back to Sevilla and would happily stay here again!

The lovely little hotel was perfectly positioned in the old town to visit the sights of Seville. We had such a lovely warm welcome from the kind staff who even arranged our taxi back to the airport. |Our delightful clean, comfortable room had a balcony overlooking the orange trees in the square. It was good to have a kettle with tea and coffee bags. We will come back again.

My wife and I would never have booked this hotel if we had looked on a map. Friends who are seasoned travelers recommended it, so we booked. .(Not a great start to a review but read on) it’s in the touristic center of a popular city, and in our experience that’s never been a good idea. We would have been wrong. |The Casa Elvira is named for a jewel of an orange tree- shaded plaza that it’s built on, very close to the Cathedral and Alcázar. Its accessed by very narrow streets and is a quiet, shady oasis, not at all what we would have expected. It’s historic too, so tour groups passed through, but only stayed a few minutes. They didn’t really matter. The location was super. . ||We took the junior suite with a terrace overlooking the treetops of the plaza and the the Torre Gilda of the Cathedral, It was a wonderful place for a morning coffee or relax after a day spent touring. |The room was light and airy, with winoiws and shutters opened fully for ventilation during the day and at night, blocked the light completely without the need to struggle with curtains . It was very clean, and the bed was comfy. The bath was spacious,, and the included toiletries were good quality. Negatives: The room could have used more storage for our clothes and we really wished it had a small fridge. My takeaway: though is of an airy room and wonderful terrace. ||My wife and I left with very positive feelings about the hotel, and we realized that it was the people that really made the difference. We interacted most with Carlos and Joaquin, so my apologies to anyone I’ve left out. Both seemed determined that we enjoy our stay in their hotel and their city. That’s what we’ll remember the most.

Very comfortable rooms with very friendly staff. The location is very nice, foot traffic only, you have to walk into it so no vehicle traffic, just a few blocks from the Cathedral and the Alcazar. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Very nice court yard in front. The breakfast was excellent, really enjoyed it and they had a great selection of options.

Nice hotel overlooking a small plaza with orange trees. Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, good buffet breakfast in sister hotel a few metres away. Also a great location, by the Real Alcatraz, near the cathedral, and with good restaurants and small shops nearby.
