We booked a Junior Suite with Terrace via TUI||I will start by saying the location is fantastic, and the view from our terrace was wonderful over the tree-filled square with the cathedral in the background. Nestled in the centre of the old town, the perfect place to explore the narrow streets and squares.||The staff were very friendly and eager to help where they could. For example, there were ants in the room from the terrace balcony. When we raised it, they sprayed the room, and the ants didn't return.||Now the niggles.||The bathroom door is frosted glass with no catch and designed to 'balance' at the mid-point, but it doesn't. This means that the door will swing open, which for some may be a problem, but a towel on the floor stops this. Additionally, because it is made from frosted glass, when the bathroom light goes on, it shines into the room.||The shower is over the bath, which does have a plug for the plughole; however, there are no taps to fill the bath, so it would have to be done using the shower. This, by the way, would be a long task as the water pressure is poor and decreases if you try to adjust the water temperature above tepid.||There is sufficient hanging space for 8 coat hangers, and it is of the open corner space design. This limits two people for 4 days. There is no drawer or cupboard space anywhere.||Despite repeated requests, we got 2 tea bags for the whole stay. Luckily, we always take our own coffee.||There is no fridge in the room.||No sunshade (or cushions) for the balcony furniture.||Breakfast is served in a nearby sister hotel and is small but adequate. There are a few idiosyncrasies to be aware of. Nestled (unmarked) amongst the cold meats are pots of fresh marmalade, nice but will fool the unsuspecting. Skillfully concealed (unlabelled) within the pastries is what at first glance could be a slice of, perhaps, an apple or almond tart. In fact, it is a Spanish omelette.|||TIPS||1 - Make sure you know exactly where the hotel is, as the taxis will take you near but then leave you with a vague wave of their hand in what they think is the direction of the hotel. Get the hotel to book you a car home, as the driver will collect your bag from the hotel; getting a taxi on the street isn't that easy.||2 - Take packing cubes, which at least will keep your underwear in one place.
