A bit chilly due to weather in November but extra blankets provided and wood chimney was a plus very cozy, good breakfast and friendly staff

A beautiful and interesting property. Our room was comfortable with plenty of hot water and purified water on tap. There is no heating or ventilation so it’s gets a bit cold and clammy in the room. Unfortunately due to the property’s close proximity to a road it’s a very loud place and difficult to sleep and we had to use ear plugs. There is ample parking in the rear of the property.

The most beautiful place I’ve stayed in Mexico, I really don’t understand when reading some review how this place didn’t touch they heart, it’s a magnificent rustic hotel, I love every piece that has been displayed, I wish I could stay more, I fell in love with it, thank you ❤️

We absolutely loved this hacienda. The hotel, the courtyard and the rooms are gorgeous! Each detail of the decoration is amazing and screams authenticity and old charm. There are even several peacocks roaming around. We had a separate tap for filtered drinking water in the room which changes from all the plastic bottles in other hotels. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful - we had an issue with our car and they helped calling the rental company many times and trying to find someone speaking English. An amazing place to stay! It didn't bother us at all not to be in the center center of the city. Three blocks away from the hotel on the right we found a hole in the wall "Los Insurgentes de San Cristobal" where we had the best food and smoothies in Mexico so far! We went there each evening for 3 days, it was that good!

We me and my mom are in this trip. We are booked for a weeklong when I booked this trip. I looked up pictures on Expedia and I have been traveling for over 20 years all over the world and sometimes pictures can be deceiving they show you the nicest of the nicest things, but I am speechless, this is one of the most beautiful hotels I have a stayed if you are in to vintage historical rustic. This is a Place for you. They have thousands of historical art in this hotel. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to put so many videos I take it it’s not a word I can describe how beautiful this is. The staff is absolutely helpful they give us a tour of the entire place around the hacienda. You can see beautiful peacocks walking around. They have pigeons , and I saw so far one rooster.

It is pretty, very rustic, located 10 minutes driving outside of the city center, reasonably priced. The best thing about this place, no joke, is the signage. No matter from which direction you approach San Cristobal, there are huge signs directing you here. However, we were there in December and the rooms were quite cold. The lighting in the room is poor and the drainage in the shower is not good so after the four of us took showers the whole bathroom floor was covered in water. The WORST part of this hotel was the unintentional show we got while eating in the restaurant they have (food there is not great but it will fill the hole). Someone was taking a shower in their room- it was night so obviously they had the light on and holy smoke we could see EVERYTHING! They have that thick textured glass and no curtains in the bathroom. I was very conscientious after that when dressing and showering. I meant to say something when we were checking out because it was kind of embarrassing but i forgot. If you are in the restaurant with the fire on your left it was the room on the ground floor on the left corner. Hopefully someone from the hotel will read this and do something to secure privacy for guests! I am giving three stars compared to other hotels we visited in Chiapas. Third world country, different standards.

Rented room in January which it gets cold in the nights. Room 8 was very cold, went to front desk and said they couldn’t do anything but upsell me to room 10 for extra $200mx per day. Room was much warmer but wifi couldn’t reach, bathroom smelled like sewer, shower ceiling had mold, and water either came out freezing or boiling. Had rented for 5 days only stayed 2 and refused to refund me 3 nights.
