Lovely place, good location, helpful staff. The only thing we did not understand is that the restaurant is only open on the weekends, unless we missed the fine print. We had a great brekfast on Sunday morning. It is a short walk to the Plaza de las Armas and one block from the bus depot.

Very nice, lovingly designed boutique hotel. It should actually be called an art boutique hotel, as each room has been elaborately designed by regional artisans, with sensational results. The architecture is also well worth seeing: two historic buildings are harmoniously connected, pretty winding corridors and views, various terraces invite you to linger. Two pools provide refreshment. The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast and is also open in the evening at weekends. Very nice service. A real artistic, calm and save oasis in the middle of the city. A maybe minor but for us important detail, the hotel provides a good and stable free WiFi connection.

Liked the place very much. Rooms are spacious, very beautifully designed, there whole atmosphere is genuinely nice and relaxing. Staff is wonderful too. There is a indoor parking which is cool. What i didn't like (nota fault of the hotel) is that they're is a quite busy street by the hotel so it might get noisy if you are in a room facing that direction. (During the night is ok, i can't complain about noise then). What i definitely have a problem is however the mosaic on the floor of the bathroom. On the sides of the whole bathroom there are these mosaic type flower shapes which are not flush with the floor. If you step on them, and you will, it hurts @owner make them flush! The rest of the experience was good. Garden is nice and you can sit down and chill. Also it's in the city center so that is good too.

Several booking websites including TripAdvisor and Expedia all listed this hotel as including free breakfast. The waiter doesn't tell you that as he offers coffee, fruit, juice, bread, entree, all of which are then charged a la carte. What was really just a simple and meager breakfast cost about twice as much as the wonderful breakfast buffet a couple blocks away at La India Bonita. And that same waiter isn't shy about insisting on a tip either. That really soured our impression of this hotel.|The rooms (3 for our party) all had a musty smell and were VERY expensive at ~$200/night. Excluding breakfast, it's quite a poor value proposition.|The hotel itself is located several sketchy blocks away from the main square but once inside the compound, it is hidden behind high walls. You should definitely walk together as a group at night. The grounds featured 2 separate garden areas, each with a pool, but since they were unheated, they were pretty much freezing cold and unusable.

We were shocked at the level of lovely details of the property, especially the local Mexican art in the rooms. It was incredibly relaxing and quiet. The pool was beautiful as were the grounds--which were highly representative of Cuernavaca's art and vegetation (it's not called the "City of Eternal Spring" for nothing!). We came in rushed for a funeral, two children and three adults. The staff got us together some delicious and quick food as we headed to the funeral parlor and were kind to my young kids to boot. The breakfast menu was delicious, and we liked the coffee. It is Mexico, so I do not expect the staff to run (but they sure did when they knew where we were headed the night of our arrival). I had misread the details of my Expedia reservation and tried to argue about our price. I was wrong about the details (this was NOT the hotel's fault) and they handled this grieving person so kindly, even returning a phone charger I had left in the room. I am grateful for their kindness and professionalism and having this respite of a place amidst our sudden grief. You won't be disappointed if you book here--one of the more unique hotels in Mexico proudly displaying Mexican art and design.

Broke our little hearts when they told us that the jacuzzi and sauna were closed. Then we didn’t even have hot water in our shower, AND the pool is FREEZING. If they could just get a few more degrees into their water, it would’ve been a much nicer stay. Excellent otherwise.

Good location, super friendly staff, nice gardens and pools, fresh foods. Near good restaurants (Marco Polo, La India Bonita, La Fauna), the cathedral, Brady Museum, main square. The rooms are a nice size, comfortable beds and chairs. Lovely open air restaurant area. We would stay there again.

Our room was quite satisfactory. We were the only ones in the place so we ordered from the menu for a very good selection for breakfast. Quiet location behind walls with a secure buzz entry. But in a very hectic, dirty, section of simple shops and dreadful traffic and air quality. But that could be said about Cuernavaca in general. The most overrated town of the dozen we have visited in Mexico. La Casa Azul made it bearable, and they are fine people. Thanks folks.

Yelp
Wow, what a beautiful property. The rooms are unique, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Not to mention how clean the entire property is as well. The service was fantastic, and the staff was terrific. I would absolutely stay at this property again and highly recommend it.
